  • The Serial Plotter built into the Arduino IDE creates graphs of numerical data sent on the serial port. It is not very fancy and does not have many options, but it is easy to use. Unfortunately, there is no documentation for it. This video shows how to make the best use of this practical tool.

    I very much liked the video. Well put together and moved at a good pace. I chuckled when you said there was no documentation in arduino manual. I looked for 20 minutes and the found your video. Thank you.

    Thank you very much for this video, it helps me a lot in my research and study. It also helps me realized that it is "println" not just "print" which make me confused for days so in my opinion ,i'm appreciative

    Very nice video and great explanation, I learned a great deal. One minor recomendation, the mix of your audio and the background music had too much music and not enough of your. I was a bit stressing to try to follow you with the volume of the music. But, that is a minor concern, your explanations are excellent and thank you for taking time to help us.

    Thank you for this video. Out of curiosity, would there be an alternative to the serial plotter as an external software that would receive information from the Arduino?

    Good video.. Is there an option to export the graph from arduino to analyze it?

    I have been using Pi400 with Arduino Nano attached to USB. I've noticed that the Arduino serial plotter seems to lag when used on the Pi400 by comparison to using the same Arduino equipment on my Windows computer. I wondered if anyone else has experienced this issue. I've thought of powering the Nano with batteries when it is attached to the Pi's USB port but haven't tried that yet.

      Check serial port, its settings & connections, make sure the program is not hanging somewhere in a loop or so. Post not-working code.

    Do you know how to plot string voice?

    • @ElektorTV
      @ElektorTV  2 года назад

      You mean you want to plot a voice signal? Have a look at the Arduino Nano Connect board. It has a microphone and there is an example that uses it with the serial plotter.
