I agree Stella, the Eco Lodge is quite magnificent. Clearly you and your friend had some wonderful experiences at the lodge that you'll remember for a long time. The massage, food, the sand and clear waters.

i definately have to visit the volta region next time i come to ghana. this looks completely different from kumasi and accra!!! would love to bring my family to this place. this will definately change the perception of Africa and give them testimony to bring back to this place.

The Chill isn't far from that place, you should visit there, in fact, it's a must that you get to see that beautiful river resort, I think it's about a kilometre or two from Meet me there.
I love your content, and the way you live through your experience. Being from a coastal state in India, I love the coconut trees, the river, the beach .... ambience is good, but then at the end a mention of the mosquito menace did put me off :/
