    It's mind-blowing! What inside the SpaceX Dragon shocked NASA's astronauts...
    SpaceX's Crew Dragon - the game-changer in the Russian-American space race wowed the world as it has flown more astronauts than anyone since its debut!
    Not only that, what's inside the Dragon capsule shocked NASA's astronauts more than any other vehicle!
    Let’s find out in today’s episode of Alpha Tech!
    How did SpaceX design the Dragon capsule?
    Why is it better than Soyuz and Starliner?
    And why did all the astronauts prefer Dragon?
    Until now, SpaceX's Dragon spacecraft proudly stands as the sole American capsule capable of carrying astronauts to orbit. It plays a crucial role for NASA in research and maintenance endeavors aboard the International Space Station. Dragon has successfully launched a total of 42 astronauts to the ISS, including 28 NASA astronauts and others on private missions.
    It recently completed its 11th crewed mission since the inaugural crewed launch in May 2020.
    Not only does it develop with overwhelming statistics that no one else can match, but SpaceX's Dragon also demonstrates comfort and reliability that makes many astronauts exclaim with joy.

    Actually, Wally Schirra flew in the Mercury, Gemini, and the Apollo Command Module. And John Young flew in Gemini, the Apollo Command Module, the Apollo Lunar Lander, and Space Shuttle, for a total of four different spacecraft models.

    Just stumbled on your channel for the first time. Big Kyle Hill fan and only knew this channel from his videos. Gotta say, I’m glad to see the improvement and I’m really relieved to see that you guys took it as a chance to better the quality and accuracy and not just ignore it. I’m sure that it’ll pay off if not already. I love seeing channels grow and learn from controversies and not just ignore them.

    Cringe clickbait TikTok style video. Glad I will be blocking this channel. It is so cringe that you see computer screens and an autopilot system claiming its futuristic and mind blowing --- when every commercial airplane uses this already. What happens when the computer on board (hopefully redundant) doesn't work, commands from the ground cant be intercepted completely, and the astronauts need to get back to Earth? Do they just hit the center divider, flip, burn up and die like that autopilot car?

    • @daveyshmavey
      @daveyshmavey 3 месяца назад

      Haha! It’s triple redundant. I’m sure it’s pretty much a sign here and accept the risk. It can’t be flown, so it can either escape, and come down gently, or blow up. There is way more technology in a flip phone than there was in the first crewed spacecrafts. Did you watch the whole thing?

    Touchscreens in vehicles are a disaster. Reducing pilots to cargo whose safety is dependent on computer code is a recipe for trouble. Celebrating this nonsense is stupid.

    • @kingpickle3712
      @kingpickle3712 3 месяца назад

      Just like on submarines with tones of touchscreens controlling everything, there are also backup systems that allow you to manually operate anything just in case something fails. I know this because NASA and the Submarine force have the same strict standards raises your chance of survival.

    • @Livinghighandwise
      @Livinghighandwise 3 месяца назад +3

      This isn't 1970 anymore Peter.. Those modern computer screens are all redundant and extremely reliable thanks to the reduction in the number of components. Also, every spacecraft since the 60s has relied on automation in all parts of flight. Dragon does take automation to the next level, which is something modern computers allow them to do. It makes the mission much safer overall.
