- In this video, I head back into the test server to check out the new Anti-Heal AoE Mage, Laseer. I put him head-to-head against Zelus, an exist AoE Mage with an Anti-Heal signature artifact. Laseer puts up quite solid damage and his utility is unmatched for Gear Raid 1. Check it out!

My only aoe mage is Eona, so I really hope I get Laseer. Knowing my luck i'll maybe get a Hex instead

Hi thanks for a great showcase! Iam four days in to WoR. I have 50 rare summoning crystals and 2 Divine. Should i summon on this 10x or should i save for the next 2 times?
This 10x is a must summon for you then. Not only are the leggos great but the epics are incredible. Tauriel and Vortex are S tier and will carry you

@@nackaskoglund7316 I would probably save divine for 2x. 12% chance for a leggo is really high
How the heck are you too? Laseer definitely seems better for anybody still lacking GR-1 options, but Hex is probably better for Void and GB progression. Thanks for the content!
100% agree. Unless they add more content where Anti-Heal is needed or it is proven that the drops on 21 are way better that 19, I am team Hex the whole way.
I imagine when the Guild Wars get released Laseer will be valuable
Will we be fighting their team directly tho? Or will it be a set up like in the current PvP?

I'm not a fan of Hex, yeah he is good but for single target damage I have Silas and Nocturne, If I pull Hex he's only be useful in GB. And to your point of gear check, it's the same with Hex. If you want to get to 50K blood on GB it's not just Hex that you need it's really a lot of gear artifact and just entire teams. I only Have Eona and Morrigan, no top tier AoE mage so Laseer is much more exiting helping me getting better gear making GR1 easier with the anti-heal.
When you farm thousands of of energy to get gear, little improvements make a big difference.
Yea everyone's account is different. In general tho, Hex is far more of a game changer.
I have both now. The game loves to give me mages over all other classes.

I pull Lazeer today ! I was like " cool lets go to GR1 19 !" And then I realise everybody use Dolores, and I dont have her... So I tried with Lazeer, Ajax, Eona, Maul, Vortex, Valkyria, abomination, n volka. It doesnt work, im still low on damages. GOSH
That team needs it but you need better gear and you need a cultist lord.

So I was lucky enough to get both, and the more I play with them, the more even they actually are as far as relevancy. Laseers dmg surprised me, and hex just isn't as usable as I thought he might be (though he is still awesome). Conclusion I think they were both overhyped in different ways...
They may have been a bit overhyped. Not as game changing a banner as Vierna and Silas
Laseer looks better than I thought. Still, if I pull one of them I hope it's going to be Hex, since I also already have Zelus already.
I mean Laseer's heal block is on a whole other level but I am not convinced it is worth going gaga over him to progress just 2 stages in GR1. If it is proven that the drops on 21 are way better than 19 then I totally get the hype.
