I've caught on the upper itchen stocked browns (ginormous), stocked rainbows, wild browns and grayling, and seen herons otters and kingfishers. And the landscape is like a painting.
I have spent a few months in Bristol during northern hemisphere winter. I spent so much time targeting the grayling and I am so jealous about yours. Mine were tiny. I was a regular client with Simon. But to be honest I would prefer Australian river any day. At least I can wade freely ... And not upset the river keeper
Thanks Richard, I thoroughly enjoyed the fishing over there... So different, and so brilliant in its own way... Thanks for taking the time to let me know... I appreciate it... Gavin
