How To Fix Forgotten Password, Pattern or PIN In Samsung Galaxy S23 / S23+ / S23 Ultra (HARD RESET)

Learn how to hard reset Samsung Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra.
A hard factory reset is needed when you're not able to perform a soft reset for some reason. You’ll need to perform a reset if you can't remember the password or pattern on your phone.
However, if you choose to perform a hard reset, all the data on your phone will be wiped. The phone will be restored back to the factory settings.
To do this:
Connect your Samsung Galaxy S23 to a computer or laptop
Place the phone in recovery mode
Scroll through the recovery mode menu and access Wipe data/Factory reset
Select Factory Reset
Wait for the process to complete to set up the phone again

To unlock your Samsung S23 Ultra without losing data, you have a few options:
Method 1: Use Samsung's Find My Mobile
Go to the Samsung Find My Mobile website (www.findmymobile.samsung.com) on a computer or another device.
Sign in with your Samsung account credentials (the same ones you used to set up your phone).
Select your S23 Ultra from the list of devices.
Click on the "Unlock my screen" button.
Follow the prompts to reset your screen lock.
Method 2: Use Google's Android Device Manager
Go to the Google Android Device Manager website (www.google.com/android/devicemanager) on a computer or another device.
Sign in with your Google account credentials (the same ones you used to set up your phone).
Select your S23 Ultra from the list of devices.

Remember to set up a new screen lock and make sure to remember it this time!
