If you spam the trigger and fire it like a super high rof scout rifle, the fire effect hits more than on full auto, making the kill times quite a bit faster. i agree. PvP has never been this good for D2. Idk, i was just so accustomed to everyone using thorn/last word in year 1, D2 feels incredibly slow and weak in PvP. Additionally, shotguns and snipers are almost entirely irrelevant in PvP lol. Kay ima sound a little crazy, but i was thinking maybe Bungie can do a mass buff for the exotics to match Prometheus. And as for legendary they should make their perks a bit more well.....noticeable lol. Kinda like the D1 trials messenger. That satisfaction when you pop 40 damage on the head lol. Mulligan and lucky shot like the good old ill will(weeb friends used to chant IIRRRUU WIIIRRRUUU every lucky shot LOL).
Watching this gave me the idea of having a weekly crucible game type. Make one gun from the exotics super powerful just for one week or just have it as an option in the private games that are coming.
Bungie should make a pvp mode solely for the unnerfed lens and call it laser tag or lens wars or whatever. In that mode you can only use the lens (for weapon) but have limited ammo and have to secure more through the power/elemental ammo pickups. It should be fun.
"How does something like this get by testing?" My suspicion is that they let it through on purpose. I think they want to see how people will respond to a faster TTK. Now everyone can use this gun for a week or so, and Bungie can collect their data on how people respond.
While I don't want it last, I for one am enjoying the weekend laser tag. It is fun, and while it can be frustrating, it is a nice change of pace from the usual Hand Canon/Auto Rifle meta you see on PC. It reminds me of the fun that could be found in Mayhem, which I also really miss.

Hey Fruit! I've heard of a bug that if you tap shoot someone instead of holding down the trigger, the tapping reapplies the exotic passive over and over, making it even more broken! :D
Super secret strats with the Lens, aim for the head and just tap the fire instead of holding down the button. you'll win your ones easy and no reloading.

Haha Fruit that laser tag story you described, I kid you not literally happened to me and my friends. We were surrounded by little kids thought it would be a bit of a meme and an easy win. But goddamn was I wrong, these little kids were friggin ninjas. Couldn't hit em ever so we resorted to spawn camping them, but we still lost anyway haha. So I guess the lesson to learn is that little kids turn into ninjas when playing laser tag.
I have a feeling that bungie let the bug go through to the final dlc to gage how a faster time to kill would impact the crucible in a live scenario, otherwise why would the bug go through there's no way they would have missed it through play testing

Junkrat riptire hide and seek Mr fruit, make a custom game where eveyone is junkrat and gets infinate ultimate duration. You can choose a map and you all start with your ultimate, after a certain amount of time u all activate your ults and look for each other. The last junkrat standing wins.
I feel like the MK 44 Stand Asides (the leg armor you were wearing) needs to have the over shield stay for a couple seconds after you stop sprinting and I feel like that would make it a more useful choice in crucible
I had to completely redesign my Titan armor so I don't get instantly vaporized turning corners. Traded my mobility and recovery (now 3s) for a 9 resilience build. Helps a lot.
I love Prometheus lens but my favorite gun in the game is also in the secondary spot :( Nature of the beast is favorite gun in the game by the way soooo op

I was trying to complete crucible challenges and it took me 30 games to get 5 super kills because every game was eight Prometheus lenses ending the game before anybody could get their super
I'm pretty sure energy weapons do more damage to supers that match its respective element. So, a Sunbreaker vs. a Prometheus Lens... yeah. Of course you'd get melted in a second lol.
No its all energy weapons deal full damage to supers while kinetic deals reduced due to supers having higher defence against them. Power kills just as good as special against supers. You don't need to match elements.
