- This is the Flying Emus' first film clip "I'm In Love With Love" from the CD "This Town" (1987). The song was composed by John and Genni Kane and was produced by Mark Moffatt. The clip features John and Genni Kane, Mike Kerin and Ian Simpson, and special guest appearance by David Connor on drums and Christopher Gill doing some crazy dancing!

Hi, I have never forgotten these guys songs, and their energy! so great to find their vids online, cheers!
Love the Flying Emus, hope to see more video clips in the future.
iansim it's awesome that you took the time to answer my question. I'm hoping that your CD is be released again in the future. Honestly your group is terrific. Listening to these songs, you can't help but get up and want to dance. Thanks again, Howie
Yes a nice smile from the Fettler caught on film! The cat just happened to be there in the cafe, wasn't mine. The pink guitar was given to me by luthier Ian Noyce, who soon after painted it blue for me, I used it a lot with Slim Dusty.
classic track
Yes Howie, Different Drum was on the Postcards From Paradise CD. Glad you like it.
So am I....
Great song - what ever happened to the Flying Emu?
Thank you iansim for another great song. i loved the groups cover of Different Drum, and decided to check this song out too. It's great fun, so thanks for this one and please let me know if the "Postcards from Paradise" cd becomes available again. By the way, was Different Drum on that cd? Howie
His name is Christopher Gill.
Sadly don't have a clip for it, but working at putting it out hopefully this year.
@iansim Did a member of the group write "I'm In Love With Love"? Also is your lead singer still performing? She has such a nice voice and her phrasing is excellent. BTW this is off topic but someone told me that Austaralia was a dangerous place to visit. Something about a bug whose bite will kill you?
the only danger is tourists believeing the jokes we tell them,,
Not sure who he is, if he is reading this, he could let us know!!
