But ever since the Weeknd's first few House of Balloons tracks were uploaded to RUclips and he wasn't so interviews or revealing much of anything about himself for a long while, not even his face, a lot of artists have been doing the same. You didn't see that happen much before then. Not saying artists never wore masks or weren't ever hesitant about the spotlight before but now it seems a lot more common in R&B especially. That's not coincidence to me.
