I’m gonna get a lot of haters for saying this but other idol groups I see nowadays don’t hit me like XG do. Especially those from the big 4. They just don’t have as much likability or chemistry, and don’t stand out. Cookie cutter shit. These girls are SO talented, SO humble, SO authentic and SO loving with each other. They truly truly feed my soul and I hate saying sappy shit like this, honestly, but XG is really special. I hope they get the level of success they so deserve.
Like, I was watching Kiss Of Life did the same live performance (it was okay, it’s nice I guess?) and also watched them in some variety show that someone recommended and wow I just don’t feel the same type of love. I felt tense. I kept wondering “do they even really like each other?” (Actually think I might avoid them at all cost if I know them irl) idk, i don’t mean to bring other groups down but they just feel inauthentic now, almost like they’re too self-aware and trying too hard, it’s just different.

I have to also say, Harvey’s voice and tone are amazing. She’s definitely not to be slept on. Hinata finally showing her stuff. I love her so much. I just wish they focused some on Jurin cause she was doing a lot of the mid-low harmonies. I love the combination of Hinata, Jurin, Harvey and Cocona during the chorus parts. Ooof, their tone and harmonies are insane.

That's exactly why apart from Jurin as leader and Chisa as sub-leader, there is nothing else written, they are just presumptions of us fans due to the fact that three of them sing entirely rap and three are full-time vocalists and Maya is walks between both sides of the spectrum, but songs like this change the perception you had of each of them

I have to say one of things that really struck me about XG is that they all get good outfits, good makeup, camera time, solo shots all equally and that’s sooooo rare in a kpop group. Because it’s so evenly distributed I can’t decide on my fav one day it’s Harvey the next Chisa wait nvm Hinata etc. That never happens to me to be so entranced by all of them at different times that I can’t really choose a bias because they all shine is such a gift that allows us to appreciate every member. XG has renewed my love for groups boy or girl, they have completely won me over and I’m so excited to see what they do next!

I did the same thing Esosa. Their fits already consistently great but I love it what they have a color theme and the white/ pink is beautiful on the all but when I saw Jurin I was stunned. The fit, the hair the makeup were perfect for her.
It was crazy watching Xtra Xtra episodes 3-4 which is when we see all of the girls singing. So I am not surprised that XG songs keep allowing the members we think as the rap line, show their vocals. Hinata is shining in her moments. I love that of all of the members, she doesn't close her eyes when she sings her lines. No effort at all on her part!!

Especially with “WINTER WITHOUT YOU” so many emotions flooding through when I hear this song whichever way you look at it. On a personal level when you’re feeling sad, there’s a sense of warmth and comfort they bring to this song through the vocals and lyrics. Or when you look at their journey throughout the year they have done Xtraordinary things together, uplifting, inspiring, and loving not only us ALPHAZ, but everyone around them including each other. Especially with “WINTER WITHOUT YOU” so many emotions flooding through when I hear this song whichever way you look at it. On a personal level when you’re feeling sad, there’s a sense of warmth and comfort they bring to this song through the vocals and lyrics. Or when you look at their journey throughout the year they have done Xtraordinary things together, uplifting, inspiring, and loving not only us ALPHAZ, but everyone around them including each other. XG, XGALX, and Simon-san Have truly made not only my year but all the fans and ALPHAZ year. And they’re only still just beginning. I will continue to support XG in everything they do!
