Yep I also love diesel. Its a good cleaner, lubricant and protector. However, I prefer using a spray bottle to spray diesel on the parts to save the diesel. A best way to clean the barrel after shooting corrosive ammo is to clean it with soap and warm water. Dry it and completely lube the barrel. Its just my opinion. BTW satisfactory job there. 👍

Nice video, in pakistan many prefer gun cleaning on budget. Would recommend you to use synthetic transmission oil as lubricant rather than engine oil , because transmission oil is not thick and works well under high temperature. Also if you could, watch "Tactical to practical with sajid shah". He's a karachite and knows much about firearms and it's cleaning procedure. As always thanks for teaching us.

AOA Nauman bhai... Very informative, i haven't seen any videos using diesel for cleaning guns. It will be good to get crud and carbon buildup from inside gun frame, very hard to get to. So, soaking in diesel will not damage blueing and polymer in frame?

Salam. Can you please tell us what the negative impact of using Desisel for the polymer frames hand guns in a longer run. Because while cleaning the frame parts somehow a little portion will definitely be intact with the polymer frame. Does this impact its durability or weaking the frame too? Thanks. Regards
Walekum as Salam. I've never dipped polymer in diesel. A little bit of it dies get in contact but that is wiped off. I'm not sure about the adverse effects of long term use diesel on polymer. On metals however there's no adverse effect.
No side effects on plastic. Very safe thing. Diesel has smell problem only. Anything that doesn't have chemicals especially acid in it is good for plastic.

When i was young i use to clean my 44 bore rifle wid petrol and lube it wid diesel

In my opinion diesel is too much oily. In my experience , silai machine oil is best. Cleaning weapon with machine oil don't make weapon oily.
