It was interesting to see you fly this at my home field where I fly with the Vancouver Soaring Association (VSA). I built VSA's simulator, but its a stationary seat and its about ready for an upgrade - perhaps to something with a moving cockpit ...
If this is not going to be marketed, is it possible for you to make plans available for individuals to make it themselves? It would be greatly appreciated.
It would be worth sharing the plans for this; the gliding movement of my age group still struggles to see the value of simulation in teaching and this would help change their minds.

Yes , the Software have the option to compensate the movement, but my setup dont need this, i dont use the sensor i just use the vr headset head tracker
There seems to be a bit of latency between the video and the platform and VR. Because it’s between all three from the looks of it, I might assume it’s the video sink…. Or is there a bit of actual communication latency going on?
Both, you ca config the software for angle of rotation or to simulate an acceleration ,decel, or side g force . I use a filtrer to make soft movement dont need a belts

It's amazing how real it gets in vr. I've played be games and you nearly trip yourself over when you crash into something in the virtual world it's bizarre.

no, the sickness effect is less with the motion platform ,I assume that your body has the expected effect with the platform it causes less heartache

Is it taking into account the resulting force or just the rotation of the plane? You should have some belts on IMO.
