I’m not Muslim but I find myself staring at Hijabis just out of respect and awe. I find it so beautiful and I always have to remind myself to stop looking so that they don’t think I’m judging them! 😂♥️
Sarah it has nothing to do with appreciating Muslim women, it's all about sales and new markets . They don't give away free cloths out of sheer generosity , no such thing as free lunch !!
Even though I'm not muslim, I've always admire muslim women as they are brave enough to put out there their religion and being more prone to judgement. I'm a catholic woman and occasionally I wear a mantle/headscarf but it can be hard as people my age think I'm too orthodox or too old fashion. Despite the criticism, I continue in my journey into being more modest and channels like yours are really helpful and keep me motivated 💖💖💖
Keep up your modesty ...this is what freedom is.....poeple are free to go out almost naked ...so don't be afraid to get your freedom to be modest!!!!.💪💪💪...god bless.
Sikh boys wear Turbans in school, they face million x more discrimination than Muslim girls as no one picks on girls anyway. So I would say they are the brave ones, the Media helps women not men who face more discrimination. I doubt this muslim girl would ever help them, as world is about the Media.
SAME!! But since I started at 4 years (my own decision) I loved it and I did not care about the things that people said about me, I am so proud of my hijab!! Literally everyone was a non-hijabi!! But it does not effect me because it is what is special about me and I love to stand out!! Just know that you are beautiful!!
I live in a small town of 1500 and I am the only one who wears hijab. It is very hard but Alhamdulilah Allah continues to keep my heart in the right path as a convert 🥰 love this video, Leena !!!
Hello dear! Congratulations! I’m so happy for you! May I suggest something? 😊 I have been following an account on Tumblr called Reverthelp, and their Instagram is @revert_help. I have made a couple of revert friends and they mentioned that the admin is a professional life coach who helps them with their questions and supports them through their process. They are really happy with the support they get. They have a really nice community too. Seeing your comment I thought they can be of good use for you as well if you need any information or resources. Do send them a message 😊 best ✌🏻
I am a proud Mexican hijabi when I started wearing hijab I felt lonely, nobody like me in my country, I saw you and other hijabis in social media and you make me feel a true brotherhood, May Allah bless you and keep your beautiful heart Leena.
No vivo en México pero mi familia sí, y me preocupo de que pensarán de mi si empiezo a cubrir mi cabello 😢 llevo varios años siendo musulmana pero no me atrevo a decirles
@@deemahal3411 Her hijab will always be the there to remind her that she is half the value of a man. That's its purpose. It is a symbol of oppression and sumbmition...
I am Christian and modesty in clothing is one of the many things I respect in your religion. When I see a woman in hijab honestly I will stare but because I love the look and I love to see the woman’s modesty and her respect for God and her religion. Your hijab and the way you dress is so pleasing for the eye and makes me want to dress more modestly ☺️ Love you ❤️
Are you saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ? John 3:16-18 KJB 1 Corinthians 11 11 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ. 2 Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you. 3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. 4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. 5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. 6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. 7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. 8 For the man is not of the woman: but the woman of the man. 9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. 10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels. 11 Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord. 12 For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God. 13 Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered? 14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? 15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. 16 But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.
I am a convert, and i have just started to wear the Hijab. It means so much to me, i feel blessed to have learned about this beautiful religion. I'm so glad Allah lead me to the right path. Amazing video, you've always been beautiful in hijab. Thank you!! 💛💛

I'm a Puerto Rican muslim, I became a muslim 30 years ago. I'm also a teacher, I teach at the Chicago Public School and the only hijabi in my school It was hard at the beginning, but now people are use to my hijab. Alhandulillah! Thank you Leena for sharing your hijab journey.
I'm Puerto Rican and African American. I just took my Shahadah not long ago. New to the hijab, but I admire the modesty of wearing it. I've been Christian/Baptist all my life so getting used to the religion
I’m Christian and I admire the modesty of Muslims, I’m a conservative Christian so I practice modesty and I find myself finding inspiration and seeing look books by Muslims. I admire you ladies a lot, may God bless you 💛✨😘
It's interesting because I was searching for "modest Christian swimwear" last night, and nothing that came up was modest at all but when I looked up Muslim swimwear, I found a lot. It makes me sad that so many Christian women don't even consider modesty anymore. Hopefully we can help set example for other Christian women.
@@jesussaves6625 I think modesty is nice however it doesn't define what a woman is we are more than just our clothes and the Muslim religion I know pretty well my best friend is Muslim and they see women a lot as sex symbols and we are more than that That's why you will never find Christian clothes because we work on our hearts not our Image
Beril Arica - Congratulations! Hijabs can be so beautiful and very nice to style. Don’t get discouraged by the culture/people around you (: You’re pleasing Allah very much, and remember to always dress up nice and nurture your beauty. Allah appreciates it when we nurture the things he’s given us
Completely agree I remember I would look at her and say she’s so pretty and successful in her career and I want to do the same. Leena is so elegant this video was beautifully spoken ❤️
@sara Allison aka Miss true Freeman I am muslim but hijab is a devotion to God so deciding to wear a hijab is a huge decision, Leena's confidence couraged me
Hello. I’m not Muslim but I’m Christian but I too wear head coverings and sometimes the very modest hijab style. Love your story and proud of your courage. Thanks for sharing.
Im a christian but i do like your modesty and the way you keep yourselves. It's beautiful when you find out that real beauty comes from within us and we bring it out with our kind acts...God bless you!
I’m 14 and I Converted to Islam at 13 a almost a year ago, I still haven’t gotten the courage to wear the hijab yet but I’ve started to dress modestly and إن شاء الله I will wear it one day🫶🏾🧕🏾
I’m actually thinking of wearing hijab inshallah this summer in a month,I absolutely love hijab it looks so beautiful. I’m in high school, next year I’m going into my senior year. I’ve always wanted to wear hijab but I always felt like no one would like me anymore and people would treat me differently. Honestly I have changed my mind set and try to ignore what people think of me and only want Allah to approve of me.Inshallah I am a good person to Allah.I don’t care what people think anymore Alhamdulilah. This has really helped me and inspired me to wear the hijab:)❤️
Dania Alzouhbi Salam sister! There is an hadith which says: “If you do something to gain Allahs love (like in this case the hijab), but the people doesnt like it, Allah will make people like it and accept it”. This happend to me, when I started with the hijab, I was afraid if people around me will accept me etc, subhanallah not did they only accept me but they liked me more when I started wearing the hijab. So the hadith its true! If you do something for the sake of Allah, but people does not like it, remember Allah is the turner of all hearts, He will make them accept your choice! So start with hijab dear sister, you have nothing to loose, you will only gain so much more!!! 💚
Dudi Salam sister! You have a great point.Doing anything for the sake of Allah can really make you gain a lot more than expected. Allah swt is the our helper and protecter. I never stop thanking Allah.Allah always have a plan for you, might not be you’re plan but it’s Allah plan so I will have patience and imaan in myself. May Allah be pleased with you sister and bless you and keep you safe❤️ I love when sisters guide and help sisters and you my sister have opened my mind a little more to do what’s right and to do what’s right for Allah swt. When I wear the hijab inshallah I will keep this Hadith in mind🤲🏻❤️
Wear the hijab! If people don’t like you because you are wearing cloth on your head that’s really their loss, and their lack of intelligence. You don’t need them in your life.
hey! im gonna be a senior too after this pandemic lol, i felt that way too, and i lost connections with some people, but that showed me who my true friends were. im here if you ever need to talk :)
shukra 1963 ??? She is a modest fashion blogger.. not an actress.. she shares her journey with hijab and inspires others, the brand sponsored her in this video..
i'm 22 years old and i've been wearing hijab for 5 years, my journey with hijab is like a roller coaster, sometimes i love it so much that i regret every second that has passed without it and sometimes i love it less ! sometimes i feel like i struggle with it that is holding me down that iis hiding all my pretty features and i can't look as beautiful as i want to be and compare myself to all these girls who don't wear it and think about all the outfits i would wear and look cute especially on summer and how hard is it to put up with the hot weather, but then i see you ! an INSPIRATION for me and pretty much all the young muslim ladies wearing hijab and how is it harder for you to hold on to it in a none muslim country , your words and the way you talk about hijab reminds me of the reasons i started wearing it and it's for god and god only
I’m happy that one influencer is talking in a good way about hijab .. the majority is just taking it off and making it hard for us to stick to it.. i love my hijab and i want to continue wearing it, it’s just so refreshing to see someone boosting our confidence and holds on to our hands
You look so regal. I'm a religous jew and cover my hair as well. I mostly wear a wig, but sometimes I wear scarves, and people always say it opens up the face and eyes so much! Enhances natural beauty. What an amazing video and story.
I just want to share my story of hijab "I started wearing it few days ago btw" My family is not a really big hijab supporters Especially my uncles .. They see that it is not really good looking and not a muslim girl priority at all and always made fun of my mother and my sisters .. Their daughters as well were not hijab supporters and they didn't wear modest clothes at all .. I just wanna tell you how much happy , proud and comfortable I was when I wore it ... And I really don't care about their opinion anymore I haven't seen them with my hijab yet But whatever they are gonna say I am proud with what I did and inshallah I will not take it off no matter what .. Cause I really love it from the bottom of my heart and it really made me closer to God 🙏 Soooo If you are worried to wear hijab or really not sure about what will be people and society's reaction I wanna tell you that it is all about you You are the one who is wearing it No matter what anyone's reaction will be It is your relationship with God Do not let anyone decide how you are gonna look and how you are gonna spend your life And thank you Leena for sharing your story it surely helped a lot of girls including me ♥️ Edit : It has been a month since I wore hijab and literally I feel wayssss better .. my mental health seems really better and relieved ..💕 Edit 2 : It almost a year and half now !! Wow I really can't believe it I surely did go with a lot of ups and downs but at the end of the day I am always proud of what I did ..❤️ Ps: thnx for ur support 💕
i rlly love the way that u are ... plss don't let anything stop u ....and i am wearing hijab 2 btw teu tging makes me feel stronger and more special with coz it's an expression of my religion as a muslim ❤❤❤❤❤
Sounds so silly, I was always so jealous of the Asian girls at school. I loved the hijabs, they just look beautiful on. I desperately wanted to be able to wear one as well. I totally understand now the religious aspect of it. I love all the different ways they are worn x
I mean that’s sweet, but it ain’t just asian people there are North Africans as well and many other different nationalities, don’t generalise all people who wear hijab to be asian
I am an Asian and yes many wear hijabs in Singapore and Malaysia. But we all are sisters even tho I am a non muslim but we all respect one another in Singapore. 🌺🌸🌻🌹
I love that you made this video. People whether they wear hijab or not needed to see this. One thing that I love about what u said was that everyone's journey is different! I recently had to take some layers off when covering and dressing modestly. I am just a very hot person in the winter spring summer and fall. May be due to some health issues. I didn't want to become dehydrated from all the sweating lol, but it was struggle because I didnt want people to think I took back my decision to follow allah. I just had to make some changes, but I continue to dress modestly and try my best to cover as much as I can and do what's pleasing to Allah!

I love this video. I had the exact same experience. I knew I would start wearing a Hijab at some point later one, but a few months ago, I felt really oppressed and depressed from constantly trying to fit into society's standards of how to look, dress and behave. So I decided to start pleasing Allah instead. I feel the most comfortable, secure and free after making that choice.
Aww Leena, thanks so much for sharing! I also started wearing hijab in high school as the only person in my entire school. It was different but I always felt happy about my decision, even when people stare- the positives do outweigh the negatives. I also loved what you said about being people being on their own journey. Women should support each other more, hijab or not
I'm a 20-year old muslim, raised by a muslim family but also don't wear hijabs.I've been wanting to wear hijab but still preparing my self for it, and this video really encouraged me more. Thank you. ❤
Love love this!!! Especially the last half where you were talking about not tearing down women for the way they dress/practice hijab. So important what you're doing, truly empowering!!!
I reverted at 12 and I am 14 now and want to wear hijab but my mom won’t let me she said next spring so I am super happy 😆 love your channel keep up the great videos!!! ❤️ 💕
Safiyah C im good i'm considering wearing it in the future just not yet! i love seeing a bunch of Muslim women's stories and vlogs tho Inshallah i'll be wearing the hijab soon
I have been a hijabi for solid 7 years and it has definitely become a part of me. One time i was with my girls and a lecturer (a woman) saw me without the hijab, she told me i look so much prettier without it in front of my classmates. I was seriously upset to hear such remarks because hijab is not about fashion nor is it about covering imperfections -- it is beyond that. I cant imagine anyone who just started wearing hijab and what they might feel about it. At times i do want to dress in a certain way that doesn't require hijab but i know i will never feel good about it. Im so glad that i have become one with my hijab and it has grow me into a woman that is not only strong but empowered. It is not a piece of cloth, it is my skin. I hope to whoever is reading this, life is a journey on its own. When it comes to faith, we should never question. Hijab is not about beautifying oneself but its a symbol of empowerment❤️
All veiled women are more beautiful without their veils. That's normal. Because we see their beauty...Hair.. Etc etc... And that's precisely the purpose of the veil... Personally I've heard this several times and I said: oh I know, my beauty belongs only to me I'm free to show it or not. And I don't want to
jules dngl I am a Muslim and I find that it is a point of empowerment because it makes us feel closer to Allah (SWA) and some people feel more confident when they have it on. I will just point out that I don’t speak for all Muslims and that’s just how I feel.
I think dressing modestly, both for women and men, gives us more dignity and allows others to take us more seriously. You can tell a lot about a person by how they dress. Modesty means we are not trying to draw sexual attention to ourselves and men will love us for who we are, rather than just for the sexual gratification that we can provide. I always find I respect people more and am in awe of those who dress modestly and smartly. I love your style so much!
Leena, I’m not religious but I think you represent the culture so well & you speak about modesty in such a perfect and intelligent way! Keep up the amazing work💗
My story is so similar to this and it makes me so happy that you are sharing this to inspire young girls to do what feels right even when it’s not easy. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much for sharing your story! I'm a Syrian Orthodox Christian and I also kept having thoughts of the hijab. The tradition in my church of wearing head coverings stopped before I was born, but a few years ago when we started getting more visitors from Russian churches or from the Middle East who were wearing a hijab I felt like it was definitely time. It was summer and we tend to have lower attendance during the summer, so I had time to get used to wearing it before everyone was back in September. I just found your videos and am really excited to try the styles you show on your channel! Thanks again!
I'm a covered woman of faith and I love your channel. Thank you for sharing your hijab journey. U our compassion and grace is truly inspiring. Continued blessings to you and your family.
i feel like this is a sign for me because for the past few months ive been trying to start wearing the hijab but alhamdullilah this has convinced me to push through and just wear it , i love all your videos x
Salam leena i know this is very late but i just started watching your chanel and i love it sooo much😊and im a muslim and thinking about wearing hijab when i grow up and im moving to america in few years and many people dont wear hijab there but after watching this video im confident and motivated to wear hijab thank you leena ❤❤❤❤
Wearing a hijab is such a big step, especially when you take the decision alone, without the convincing or forcing of anyone. I started wearing it this year and let me tell you, I’m in love with it- funny how a year ago I never wanted it but now? It’s definitely the best choice I’ve ever made
Leena i feel exactly you felt in the past I am in new here in Canada. I struggle alot when I need to go to the gym. Bu then I said to myself Hijab never stops me doing anything. Whenever i go to the gym all people stair at me they wonder how I exercise with that Mashalla leenas i am soo proud of you.
I'm not Muslim, but I have so much respect for your faith and you can see God in you. You are such an inspiration. I know we serve the same God- He is so good!
I am a 13 year old Muslim girl i live in texas as well you inspire me sooo much the other day i had an essay due on who is my role model and how they inspire me and i admire them i wrote about you and how positive you are i am hijabi and istruggle with it but then i watch you and iforget all my problems and i just get so much more relieved that there are people who went through this and you inspire me sooo much i love you and you are so beautiful MA
Dear Leena, Your video made my day in 2020, I was badly depressed, that was not good period of my life ... I was born as Muslim, Alhamdulillah, but I was not in hijab. Suddenly I found your videos, began discovering how beautiful is to be covered, how piecefull are you with yourself in hijab. Your hijab styles inspired me to be also hijabi lady! Thank you for sharing such good energy! I will be very happy if you visit Uzbekistan, Tashkent city, it is honour to me to invite you and your family to our home!
awwwh. I have been pushing the feeling of wearing hijab for a few months too. I have been struggling with "how", "what if" and all that. seeing your video gives me the motivation to try. so happy for you :)
I’m Christian but I find so much value in watching your videos, you teach modesty and spiritual love, honestly a great role model for girls. The discipline and grace you show by wearing a hijab is beautiful!!🤍🤍
Omg I was smiling the whole time I didn't even realise u r just so positive and calm ❤️❤️ I'm also a hijabi and yessss it's such a blessing from Allah to really want to wear the hijab without any force or opression
Hey Leena, I just wanted to let you know that you’ve inspired me to dress more modestly. Although I’ve been wearing a hijab since a young age it wasn’t a choice. However, even though wearing a hijab I wouldn’t dress modestly all the time. But since discovering you, not only am I inspired I find it more easier to style outfits in a modest way. Although you’ve caused a massive dent in bank balance.
I remember the first time I "test-drove" wearing my hijab:) I went to Vancouver for the day with a friend and I was on the sky-train talking and laughing with them. An older man was getting off the train w/ his bike and as he passed me he said "thank you for letting me see your smile", lol:) It was so sweet - like a nice sign that I was doing the right thing. When I got back home, for a few hours, I didn't want to take it off:) A week or so later, I started wearing it again and have been wearing it ever since - that was over 12 years ago, Alhamdollilah:)
The idea of the thought of hijab creeping in your mind is so relatable! It’s like you can’t escape it and it’s such a relief Alhamdulillah when you finally wear it 😍
I’m not Muslim, but I practice Orthodox Judaism, so I completely understand the concept of dressing modestly. And I completely agree, I started dressing modestly for me and to strengthen my connection with Gd. And I love it. You are absolutely gorgeous 💕💕
This video helped me so much Leena. I’m not wearing a head scarf right now, in the point of my journey, but I’ve shared so many thoughts & ideas that you’ve had at the start of your hijab journey. InshAllah may Allah guide me & help me realise as well the blessings of wearing a hijab, like He has guided you, and that it ends up being a beautiful experience for me. I hope you know that you sharing your story helped me clear up some misconceptions that I had, and also helped as I saw another person’s view & not just my own. Thank you for sharing such personal information and your stories, the ups and downs. Thank you for being raw and real. I’m really grateful, and wish you, your husband & the rest of your family a blessed & spiritually rich life. May Allah (swt) continue to love, protect and guide us all. Ameen 🙏💜
MashaAllah, bless you Leena. you’ve inspired many Muslim women to do the same and you just gotta know that. we’re very lucky to have you to look up to. you’re amazing and we love you ❤️
I’m Jewish and wish that everyone would dress and act with more modesty. You have a beautiful soul..... Sending best wishes for a lifetime of joy..... Shalom..... ❤️
I think modesty is the way however dressing modest Is not Define the kind of woman you are For example there could be women that covers up from head to toe and there just evil and being promiscuous And their women that dress more revealing and are super kind Married one man woman And I also don't believe women are just sex objects and I kinda get that from the Muslim religion we are more than just what we wear That's why I don't judge a book by its cover
@@karinagarcia3702 i know im super late replying, but i like your comment. I’m a hijabi and wanted to say I understand your point of view as far as modesty. Modesty is a state of mind as well as non revealing clothing of choice . I know covering muslim women who act “immodest” (and thats in quotations because who am i to judge their behavior) and I’ve seen non muslim women act with such modesty and female grace that i find myself mentally taking lessons lol. At the end of the day it’s all about being a decent human being ❤️
You’re so beautiful! I’m Catholic, but I started wearing a head covering during mass and I can totally relate to the feeling like everyone is staring. I’m still in the self-conscious phase. I also did it because I wanted to please God as fully as I can. I love learning about the similarities between people - in the end we’re all human and I feel too many people ( my fellow caucasians especially). Peace be with you! ❤️
Hey Leena, My name is Amina and I'm 12 years old. Your story and your videos inspire me so much as a person, a girl and a Muslim. I have always had this desire to wear a hijab like other girls look up to their quinceanera I look up to the day I start wearing the hijab. Even though I know that people aren't gonna treat me any different (in a bad way) if I wear a hijab I just feel so insecure. growing up I was always looking for the acceptance and love of others and my parents which has led me to being this insecure now. I live in Qatar and I go to an international school full of people all over the world and adapting to their cultures and traditions have made me drift away from my own country and religion and who I am as a person. As an Indian too, in our culture hair and skin is really cherished for women and some say it's their best features and trying to live up to the expectations of my Indian relatives and my own religion has made me feel so confused. I've just realized how much I've just said but to summarize a bit; thank you. Thank you for speaking your mind and helping your and the next generation. thank you for being a role model to all of us, Leena. With Love Amina
I totally understand how you feel. I also had enough of guys staring at me in a sexual way as if I am an object or a piece of meat. I could not stand it any longer. Things got a lot better for me when I started dressing modestly. I do not cover my hair because I am a Christian but i do not wear provocative clothing anymore. I still get such stares sometimes but it is much less now. God wants us to dress modestly because this is best for us and it made a big difference in my life. Kudos Leena:)
@@servantofgod9067 Hair covering is only necessary for prayers, not for the everyday life, And even this- wearing a headscarf for prayers- is a personal choice.
In Bible it is mentioned do modest dressing and cover your head 👍🏻I don't know this before but I recently studied bible and did proper research on Bible in this pandemic holidays and now I'm started wearing modest clothing 👍🏻
I appreciate the boldness in your commitment to dress modestly. I am also required as a bible believing Christian to cover my head when I pray but I feel strange doing it as most women don’t. Love your videos leena and you as well ♥️
I've been a hijabi my whole life, i only just started feeling judged and eyes of others who arent Muslim and doesn't understand Islam.. I've been very insecure in it lately.. but videos like this is what make me so happy and proud of covering.. its so beautiful and modest. I'm a new subscriber! much love from Philly!
I've thinking about wearing the hijab for a while now and this video just feels like a push in the right direction to me. Thank you for making this & you're always an inspiration ❤❤
I have recently started wearing a hijab and I’ve definitely felt insecure. Modesty has always empowered me and wearing the hijab makes me feel free, similar to you. Your videos have helped guide me and I’ve watched your hijab styling videos so much trying to keep mine as beautiful as yours. Mine never stay tight though :(
Hey Leena!! Two years ago I read your blog about your hijab story and watched a couple of your videos. I was planning to start wearing hijab and you were, and still are, a really big inspiration. May Allah grant you and your family Jannah. Much love
I love how you said everyone is on their own journey, and yes 💯 choice is key. I’m a new hijabi, you’re one of the person who inspires me to start wearing. Masha’allah I feel so beautiful wearing hijab. Thank you for sharing your hijab journey and congratulations on this video. Sending you lots of love. ❤️🥰
You see the stares that people give as if they're judging us? Dad told me that on the day of judgement, they will be there to give their shahada/witness that you indeed were there defying every hardship in order to please Allah. They'll say that Leena, during dunya, wore the hijab and was the only one there and I saw her! The first day of my freshman was the day I wore hijab and went to class. I never EVER felt so self-conscious in my life. The school was full of students; seniors...and some of them were my old classmates. Believe me, I had this big pain on my chest and felt almost like fainting. I couldn't gather my courage to face my class while even being late on the first day, yet I couldn't imagine myself taking it off either. It indeed gets better with time as I gain confidence day by day. Mum would always tell me, whenever she sees me being weak and unconfident "Resist, verily God's award will be worth it"
I think you are a beautiful inspiration to so many women. I think your dedication and pride in your religion is very admirable and you are showing people of all ages what it means to walk the walk. Bless you.
Thank you for being so open. I've been recently feeling this overwhelming desire to start dressing more modestly and to start wearing the hijab. This really hit home for me.
There’s no such thing as “halal dating” unless it’s a period of time where one is looking to get married and they meet someone whilst a chaperone is present :)
Sajeeda Hussain that’s why it’s called halal dating, because a chaperone is present. And why would a chaperone be there if you didn’t have the intention of marrying that person.
I started wearing my hijab nearly 4 years ago and at first I regretted wearing it because I thought people would judge me and every time I watch leena’s video about her hijab and her story it make think why did I ever think about what people would think and now I’m so proud of wearing hijab 🧕 If you ever want to wear a hijab don’t think about what people will think or say wear it because you want to and for the sake of allah❤️ #mycalvins
Omg😭😭😭😭, I feel like we have similar stories. Im the only to wear hijab too and I used to feel so insecure around my family. People always apologize when they cuss around me too😹😹. Thank you so much for your story. It’s so relatable💛💛💛💛💛
Thank you so much for being refreshingly modest! It can be so hard when you come from the U.S or U.K. (like me), but I find it so fascinating and I hope to be starting on this journey myself. You show that it's not intimidating, instead you're understanding and supporting of all the journeys that we are all individually on. So much love ❤❤
i'm a new hijabi as it hasn't even been 3 months since i started. i don't know what came over me but hopefully it's because i wanted to better myself before i had to go for umrah, like actually setting my foot in the holy cities of makkah and madinah. i started wearing hijab about 2 months before umrah and i've never felt so in my comfort zone as i worn my hijab and abaya throughout the trip. and you are totally right about the stare! i also felt better when i covered half of my face while walking around in makkah and madinah. recently discovered your channel and i hope i can continue wearing my hijab with you as my inspiration to dress modestly💞
I’m not Muslim but I find myself staring at Hijabis just out of respect and awe. I find it so beautiful and I always have to remind myself to stop looking so that they don’t think I’m judging them! 😂♥️
Kaitlynn you’re so sweet!!! 💗💗💗💗
It’s fine- we don’t mind when people look at us hijabis. Just smile :) and feel free to talk and ask questions. Thank you for the sweet comment xox

I’m so happy Calvin Klein supports Muslim women!!! I’m definitely going to shop their line👌👍
I agree!!
Sarah it has nothing to do with appreciating Muslim women, it's all about sales and new markets . They don't give away free cloths out of sheer generosity , no such thing as free lunch !!
Me too
I won't be buying CK for supporting oppressive garb.
L me too
Even though I'm not muslim, I've always admire muslim women as they are brave enough to put out there their religion and being more prone to judgement. I'm a catholic woman and occasionally I wear a mantle/headscarf but it can be hard as people my age think I'm too orthodox or too old fashion. Despite the criticism, I continue in my journey into being more modest and channels like yours are really helpful and keep me motivated 💖💖💖
way to go! Don’t care what people think. Keep up your modesty.
Keep up your modesty ...this is what freedom is.....poeple are free to go out almost naked ...so don't be afraid to get your freedom to be modest!!!!.💪💪💪...god bless.
Girl I wear mine loud and proud. I invite stupidity. Also a Christian hijabi.
Best wishes to you. Xox
Sikh boys wear Turbans in school, they face million x more discrimination than Muslim girls as no one picks on girls anyway. So I would say they are the brave ones, the Media helps women not men who face more discrimination. I doubt this muslim girl would ever help them, as world is about the Media.
I am 13 years old and being a hijabi in a school filled with non-hijabis is a bit discouraging but this helped me out!! Keep up the great work Leena!!

When I see a woman in hijab honestly I will stare but because I love the look and I love to see the woman’s modesty and her respect for God and her religion. Are you saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ?
John 3:16-18 KJB
1 Corinthians 11
11 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

So proud of you! I am also a hijabi living in Chicago. :) would love to hear your story☺️

Hello how are you
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You are definitely one of the reasons that I started wearing a hijab. Thanks for being an inspiration with your elegant style

I absolutely love the outfit. the facts that a brand like CK is giving an effort towards their modest customers is so refreshing and sweet!!
I agree.
Zeenath Farooqui you’re absolutely right sister I will totally keep that in mind and now I’m more motivated to wear it Alhamdulilah!

Very mature for your age and I think you gave every girl who is wearing hijab more confidence
i'm 22 years old and i've been wearing hijab for 5 years, my journey with hijab is like a roller coaster, sometimes i love it so much that i regret every second that has passed without it and sometimes i love it less ! sometimes i feel like i struggle with it that is holding me down that iis hiding all my pretty features and i can't look as beautiful as i want to be and compare myself to all these girls who don't wear it and think about all the outfits i would wear and look cute especially on summer and how hard is it to put up with the hot weather, but then i see you ! an INSPIRATION for me and pretty much all the young muslim ladies wearing hijab and how is it harder for you to hold on to it in a none muslim country , your words and the way you talk about hijab reminds me of the reasons i started wearing it and it's for god and god only
I’m happy that one influencer is talking in a good way about hijab .. the majority is just taking it off and making it hard for us to stick to it.. i love my hijab and i want to continue wearing it, it’s just so refreshing to see someone boosting our confidence and holds on to our hands
Really?!
You look so regal. I'm a religous jew and cover my hair as well. I mostly wear a wig, but sometimes I wear scarves, and people always say it opens up the face and eyes so much! Enhances natural beauty. What an amazing video and story.
I just want to share my story of hijab
"I started wearing it few days ago btw"
My family is not a really big hijab supporters
Especially my uncles ..
And I really don't care about their opinion anymore
I haven't seen them with my hijab yet
But whatever they are gonna say I am proud with what I did and inshallah I will not take it off no matter what ..
Cause I really love it from the bottom of my heart and it really made me closer to God 🙏
Soooo
If you are worried to wear hijab or really not sure about what will be people and society's reaction
I wanna tell you that it is all about you
You are the one who is wearing it
No matter what anyone's reaction will be
It is your relationship with God
Do not let anyone decide how you are gonna look and how you are gonna spend your life
And thank you Leena for sharing your story it surely helped a lot of girls including me ♥️

This is so beautiful, thank you for sharing this. May Allah bless you❤️
All veiled women are more beautiful without their veils. That's normal. Because we see their beauty...Hair.. Etc etc... And that's precisely the purpose of the veil... Personally I've heard this several times and I said: oh I know, my beauty belongs only to me I'm free to show it or not. And I don't want to
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
heya, may I ask you why it is a symbol of empowerment?
jules dngl I am a Muslim and I find that it is a point of empowerment because it makes us feel closer to Allah (SWA) and some people feel more confident when they have it on. I will just point out that I don’t speak for all Muslims and that’s just how I feel.
Her story is so great, and I love how she shows her sisters, and that she chooses to wear her hijab and it is her devotion and choice.
I am a hijabi woman and i am proud of you and i love your modesty. God bless you
Leena, I’m not religious but I think you represent the culture so well & you speak about modesty in such a perfect and intelligent way! Keep up the amazing work💗

Hey Leena,
I just wanted to let you know that you’ve inspired me to dress more modestly.
Same
That hijab color is gorgeous on you! mA Leena is stunning😍😍
I started wearing hijab almost 2 months ago and you were my biggest inspiration! ♡♡♡
This story of wearing hijab starting on highschool is just similar to my story! Leena u r just such an inspiration 💗💗✨
Ameen 🙏💜
The most honest and accurate video about hijab I have ever watched, loved it so much 👌🏼💛
MashaAllah, bless you Leena. you’ve inspired many Muslim women to do the same and you just gotta know that. we’re very lucky to have you to look up to. you’re amazing and we love you ❤️
I’m so proud of leena ❤️ continue inspiring others 💪🏻❤️
I’m Jewish and wish that everyone would dress and act with more modesty. You have a beautiful soul..... Sending best wishes for a lifetime of joy..... Shalom..... ❤️
Love you too l am a Indian muslim and love modesty my non muslim friends dress in modesty except hijab best wishes.hope jews and Muslims live in peace
At the end of the day it’s all about being a decent human being ❤️
@@karinagarcia3702 I’m Muslim and I know Islam very well , and the purpose of wearing hijab .. what you wrote is wrong
mashallah sister may god bless you
Hey Leena,
My name is Amina and I'm 12 years old.
With Love
Amina
I totally understand how you feel. I also had enough of guys staring at me in a sexual way as if I am an object or a piece of meat. I could not stand it any longer. Things got a lot better for me when I started dressing modestly. I do not cover my hair because I am a Christian but i do not wear provocative clothing anymore. I still get such stares sometimes but it is much less now. God wants us to dress modestly because this is best for us and it made a big difference in my life. Kudos Leena:)
M Muss I agree with you:)
In Bible it is mentioned that woman should cover their hair and dress with modesty from the day I read Bible I started covering my hair👍🏻
@@servantofgod9067 Hair covering is only necessary for prayers, not for the everyday life, And even this- wearing a headscarf for prayers- is a personal choice.
@@aphroditetselengidou1646 read Bible plz first 👍🏻
In Bible it is mentioned do modest dressing and cover your head 👍🏻I don't know this before but I recently studied bible and did proper research on Bible in this pandemic holidays and now I'm started wearing modest clothing 👍🏻
Ever since I watched your videos I want to dress more respectfully and modest, such an encouragement
Thank you for sharing, Leena💜 You articulated your story beautifully and inspire us all🌷
I appreciate the boldness in your commitment to dress modestly.
The way you dress so beautifully with your hijab is so inspiring honestly mashaallah. God bless you Lenna ❤❤
Omg your hijab story is so similar to minee... when I was a senior in high school andd started in Ramadan.. glad to hear itt❤❤
Much love
you really made me cry thank you for sharing your story
Mum would always tell me, whenever she sees me being weak and unconfident "Resist, verily God's award will be worth it"
occasionally sips tae how are you doing now?
occasionally sips tae i had tears in eye while reading ur comment...may Allah give u more strength... 😘😘
❤️❤️❤️
I think you are a beautiful inspiration to so many women. I think your dedication and pride in your religion is very admirable and you are showing people of all ages what it means to walk the walk. Bless you.
Thank you for being so open. I've been recently feeling this overwhelming desire to start dressing more modestly and to start wearing the hijab. This really hit home for me.
Could you do an advice video about halal dating and how you found your way to marrying Omar!! Thanks
Roda Hassan please!!
Halal dating? Don't date a pig.
Liz H 🙄 lol 😂
I started wearing my hijab nearly 4 years ago and at first I regretted wearing it because I thought people would judge me and every time I watch leena’s video about her hijab and her story it make think why did I ever think about what people would think and now I’m so proud of wearing hijab 🧕
If you ever want to wear a hijab don’t think about what people will think or say wear it because you want to and for the sake of allah❤️

Only “judging” by inner beauty 😉
If you ever see me staring at you, just say Hi and smile and I will smile back. 😅
Zara Lovey Mash Allah
Domi Blanche thnx ❤️
