Also i have one doubt in my mind is it possible to perform burnouts on a automatic? I mean is it possible to tap the brake in D mode and rev it up and than suddenly release it. Any user or anyone? VW Polo is like CBR 250R of cars. Everyone loved them when they launched but not anymore Bks they stuck with decade old design. Seriously guy! it's time you get back to drawing board. 🙄
does it have grinding noise ? like shifting without engaging clutch in other cars, its happening in my GT DSG 1.2 (2019 DEC model) , am pretty sad about it. Not often but rarely and you have to pay attention to it with no music inside car. Is that the same thing happening for you?
For everyone compalining about the eurospec facelift not being rolled into the indian markets, you should understand that it would cost approximately 16 lakhs on road in India. At this price point how many of you think you should shell out your money for unnecasary bells and whistles, which btw seems to be Hyundai's usp and is clearly failing as is evident from the pricing of the new i20.
In future definitely they will launch like Maruti because VW sales are literally down when compared to last year, if they didn’t launch Diesel engine definitely they move out from India production like Fiat company
Enough is enough, Polo is not relevant anymore! It is been 3 and half years since the new Polo is out but Volkswagen is having no intention of launching it here! It shows how much Volkswagen cares for indian customers!
Whatever they put under the skin but the designs of most of VW are getting too old now. In every other market they are 3-4 generations ahead. That's too much of ignorance on their part for India. Seriously I don't like any of their cars except new coming tiguan.
I bought this TDI car in 2011 and sold after using 6 years... very rugged car..I like the drive and stability. Very bad head lights.. VW should concentrate on design and features. Otherwise it's totally waste to buy this expensive hatchback in current scenario.
So basically the new standard Polo and the new GT TSI share the same engine. The only difference being one has a manual and the other has an automatic. If it demands a higher premium than the standard Polo just for its badge, I don't think it will shine.
It's expensive and Importing parts in India will drive the cost even higher. Volkswagen doesn't manufacturer every part in India. And India has some of the highest import taxes. Resulting in foreign companies being discouraged to bring there best in India.
Better take a Kawasaki Ninja zx10r engine and fit it with a 6 speed manual. Manual transmission with clutch pedal is always better than automatic, atleast to me.
To all the Polo fans, updated polo mk6 had launched sinse 2017 overseas but seems like Volkswagen is not taking much interest in indian market sticking to old 11yrs old model 😑
Apart from the 6Speed Auto, what's the difference between the Regular 1.0TSI and the GT TSI? The regular Polo 1.0TSI seems like it's faster to a 100KMPH.
Instead of buying the gt tsi just buy the top 1.0 l turbocharged 3 cylinder highline plus and you can save 50 grand and get rear ac and arm rest from the company and get gti baging if you want the unwanted flex🙄 tho I brought mine just today for learning car by my dad
One big USP the car had and they changed it to a torque convertor. Test it on ghat inclines and let us know which one completes the circuit smoother and happier. Vws are never meant for cities. These are highway mile munchers

Nothing related to sound in my 2015 GT TSI. U feel a JHATKA as if you have abnormally applied brakes harder.
This one clunks too. I own this car. D3-D2, particularly horrible, especially if you're used to a smoother box.

VW cars have got generational updates around the world but in India it remains the same. Indians are happy with Tin Cans.

It's length is more than 4m globally and MQB platform is still in development stage.

Dct will definitely give higher FE compared to TC - you will struggle to get 19 kpl on tc which is easy on the highways with gt tsi dct
