Whats this TA I keep hearing about next to C&C3 and SupCom? Also, in regards to the video, they forget to show the part where those tech 1 units die in a about 3 seconds to those tech 3 units, damn SupCom and its..Supcomness
this video is kick ass, and i like what u did with the zooming out to the actuall world map and i love the bit at the end wer it says ur armies await ur command, and wer the missile comes up out of the bynker and explodes and zooms out to the world map i think it is very effective, by any chance do u do media studies or did media studies for a GCSE
if there is anyone that wants to play online games, thhere is a community driven lobby over at forged alliance forever with tons of gamemodes and mods availabe, we even have a semi proffesional caster: Gyle here at youtube!
lol you know thats probably what made me take preferance to them too, its just so fun to build a navy and be able to take out thier inland base afterwards hehe. I also have a mod that adds a t3 amphibious destroyer which has a twin beam weapon - very fun unit
let me rephrase the question, will an XFS Geforce 8800 GT be good enough to run the game an MAX performance? and what about a 2.5 Ghz Quad core precessor and 4 sticks of PC6400 DDR2 RAM.
@AdamSavage88 agree, this games are great, and BTW,do you played Hammerfight? i recommend it =3 really great game =3 but consoles still have more great games
this game looks awsome, i like how dog fights are planes flying around and you see some dropping from the sky, looks so much cooler than starcraft dogfights,
Actually, the first time I played It I noticed it was running smoother than the original, so I read the full rundown on improvements and it does say somewhere that they have changed things to make it run better overall.
Im soon going to buy a new comp, is a EVGA Geforce 8800 GT 512 MB, 4 sticks of DDR2 800 mhz RAM, and an Intel Core 2 quad q6600 2.4 GHz good enough to run this game?
in some games (such as this) i actually wish the maps were asymmetrical. i mean, a symmetrical map provides a fair game to both players, but i enjoy the diversity of having to think around specific obstacles in a battle. such as no land mass connecting two islands, so transports or amphibious vehicles are a must.
This is as good as it gets! I've you haven't bought this game already then I don't know what the hell are you waiting for. But bare in mind that in order to play all the factions online, you will need Supreme Commander and its expantion Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance. Now go to the store! That's an order, commander!
"looks so much cooler than starcraft dogfights" This could be those 10+ years of technology FINALLY kicking in for a game ;) Then again, TA had some pretty awesome dogfights as well, so maybe it's just because Chris Taylor is a Game's God.
what if it's a combination of Sins of a solar empire and supreme commander. There's space battles and then to conquer a planet you go inside and fight them there. It would be epic!!! you set up space bases and planet bases too
I have a Intel P4 2.8GHz CPU with 1 GB RAM and a GeForce 7600GS in an AGP slot and I can run 3v3s moderately well on the medium sized maps, which are pretty ungodly huge. But all my settings are the lowest, so that gives you an idea of just what this game takes to run.
That's puny compared to what I can get. I can always use up the 250, 500, 750 and 1000 with a good balance of all the types of units. Even with a hard opponent, I managed to clear out three quaters of their base (It covered half the 81km map) and push them onto one of the tiny islands, where I built my main base on the middle island, made a huge army there, Made the Land units on one island, Air units on another, and Naval units on the last one. Oh, and I made some experimental units. GO CYBRAN!
@johnstar145 In that case you should consider upgrading your PC or buying a new one. Computers taht can run this game smoothly aren't that expensive anymore. Also you should try setting the visuall settings to low or medium. @uhuagiohiad, this is the unofficial sequel to Total Annihilation. It has the same mechanics.
The Monkeylord does indeed kick some serious arse, but I prefer the Fatboy mobile factory. Also, the self destruct mechanism was a nice touch, i'm glad the carried it over from TA.
Yeh, making a gaming comp is cheaper and probably more efficent in terms of value, cause my brother built one with parts. But I'm lazy and bought an XPS refurbished off eBay lol. Probably some hundred quid gone there but, knowing me, it's better than me making a fatal mess halfway through constructing a custom computer xD
i have a 2gig ram, Geforce 8800 GTA SLI, 3gig prossesser ,Ahthlon something, and 300gig mem, and my computer dosent even try have the time.......i wish i had a game that pushed it to the limits its been waiting for
i`ve tried the demo, it works like crap on my sys, all the other demanding games like cod4, crysis run well, but SC works like a drunk old tard, eaven on medium-low settings, wtf?? as soon i builded 10 aircrafts it begun to move slow... is there anything to do?
The only reason this looks so crystal clear, is because it's a video made by Chris Taylor(Creator of SupCom) for showing the gameplay, not an actual game. It would be nice to have graphics like that though...lol
Ill just go ahead and say it...I have to play this game at the internet cafe I live near..my comp lags a little to much for me lol..savin up to buy one of the comps they have at the cafe lol
you can get it in any store for a VERY low price.. But buy Supreme Commander AND Forged Alliance.. play Supreme Commander for the story and Forged Alliance for the best gameplay and graphics :)
An old animation, but a classic, to this day and despite many hours of gaming, I still get goosebumps from this video
Still, hands down, one of the best RTS today.
I must've watched this trailer hundreds of times, back when it first came out!
Try lowering game speed in those instances, Helps immensely for me when I drop it to -4 or so.
Whats this TA I keep hearing about next to C&C3 and SupCom? Also, in regards to the video, they forget to show the part where those tech 1 units die in a about 3 seconds to those tech 3 units, damn SupCom and its..Supcomness
@Mikemc In 2006, this was HD.
This got me all pumped up to play a game of Warhammer 40k.
Make of that what you will.
this video is kick ass, and i like what u did with the zooming out to the actuall world map and i love the bit at the end wer it says ur armies await ur command, and wer the missile comes up out of the bynker and explodes and zooms out to the world map i think it is very effective, by any chance do u do media studies or did media studies for a GCSE

Nice, except for the Titan Tech III attack bots don't have rocket launchers and they have shields...
I believe this was early game footage used for trailers, they obviously changed all the units during production.
Actually this was the release trailer.
lol you know thats probably what made me take preferance to them too, its just so fun to build a navy and be able to take out thier inland base afterwards hehe. I also have a mod that adds a t3 amphibious destroyer which has a twin beam weapon - very fun unit
1:57 THIS why i play Cybran.
I'll admit, one of my favorite things to do was watch my units plow down trees.
@tievesjoodenaap - They're Cybran T2 Destroyers that goes under the name Salem.
@AdamSavage88 and BTW,there is no any Soul calibur game for PC...
@AdamSavage88 or do you played Halo Reach?
Same here - £5 off eBay xD £15 for FA when it came out. AWESOME successor to TA. I miss Arm and Core though. And yes I do know about Spring.
zavvi a music/game shop in the uk (was called virgin megastore)
let me rephrase the question, will an XFS Geforce 8800 GT be good enough to run the game an MAX performance? and what about a 2.5 Ghz Quad core precessor and 4 sticks of PC6400 DDR2 RAM.
Robots...
All of them.
@AdamSavage88 agree, this games are great, and BTW,do you played Hammerfight? i recommend it =3 really great game =3 but consoles still have more great games
@Brokkolesz I just got it and its friggin hard XD any tips how to ease my pain :P?
this game looks awsome, i like how dog fights are planes flying around and you see some dropping from the sky, looks so much cooler than starcraft dogfights,
We could only dream that this game look that smooth.
It is rather disconcerting to think you have won a skirmish and all of a sudden a bunch of amphibious destroyers walk up the beach beside you
Actually, the first time I played It I noticed it was running smoother than the original, so I read the full rundown on improvements and it does say somewhere that they have changed things to make it run better overall.
in supreme commander 2 will be a better wayfinder, a new generation of it
Im soon going to buy a new comp, is a EVGA Geforce 8800 GT 512 MB, 4 sticks of DDR2 800 mhz RAM, and an Intel Core 2 quad q6600 2.4 GHz good enough to run this game?
Those poor blue people have to fight against those black/red spider's beams.
Why everyone put this Hi Res when RUclips loweres that resolution
how can i get that spider at 3.59?
This is minumum? I still have a fear that my computer will barely take it, considering what will happen with THAT many units on the map.
why not a quad? what processor is better for games?
wheal not really, its only when the unit count goes up to a few thousand. I have a single core 3ghz processor it it rarely lags for me.
in some games (such as this) i actually wish the maps were asymmetrical. i mean, a symmetrical map provides a fair game to both players, but i enjoy the diversity of having to think around specific obstacles in a battle. such as no land mass connecting two islands, so transports or amphibious vehicles are a must.
the nuke at the end was amazing
ive only looked at the cover of this game until now and lemme tell u why didnt i get this befor!
what is the minimum video card needed to play this? an Nvidia 8800 GT? how much RAM too?
More than worth it, If you can play it (Computer wise)
I can't wait for Supcom 2!
good...good
but what about the processor?
I love the Cybran Nation. Why, you might ask, Cause the Destroyers can walk on land. :D
Best RTS of all time EE2+expasion hands down
lmao you really let them go wild half the 81 km map lol a bit of a woops there.
Yes GO CYBRAN
I'm I the only one that sees the irony of using a 360p video to showcase a hi-resolution texture pack?
This is as good as it gets! I've you haven't bought this game already then I don't know what the hell are you waiting for. But bare in mind that in order to play all the factions online, you will need Supreme Commander and its expantion Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance. Now go to the store! That's an order, commander!
Those are cybran destroyers that go on the land. =D
Background from original version. Nice work.
insert and delete changes your view killer if read that magical thing called the "manual" will help loads lol.
wow. what's the min specs for this?
"looks so much cooler than starcraft dogfights"
This could be those 10+ years of technology FINALLY kicking in for a game ;)

you set up space bases and planet bases too
the online battles are fucking epic even more intense than this
才是最重要的
This is Total Annihilation, updated for today's graphics. The units even look roughly the same. Hopefully it'll be just as easy to add custom units!
This battle is backgroun of main menu.
i have amd 4400+, 2gb 800mhz, 8800gt 512 ram, how it will run, i`m not dying for ultra graphics and so one...
how much ram? how fast is the FSB?
One word...EPIC...
GO CYBRAN!
Lucky. I have the game, but everything on the lowset seting, AND I still and such major lag I can't play it at all! Geting a better computer soon.
Balanced Annihilation beats this any day.
omfg!!! this game is on my comp withing the next two days!!
This game is a monster to run, but if you can its well worth it. The game is incredible :D
The Monkeylords are my favorite unit.
Yeh, making a gaming comp is cheaper and probably more efficent in terms of value, cause my brother built one with parts. But I'm lazy and bought an XPS refurbished off eBay lol. Probably some hundred quid gone there but, knowing me, it's better than me making a fatal mess halfway through constructing a custom computer xD
umm, probably, might get low on memory in larger maps, or with lots of units, but you should be fine.
@AdamSavage88 BTW,RUclips should raise a limit of symbols for comment...
My response was to someone who said "Wow, I didn't know battleships shot tactical missiles!"
The T2 UEF crusiers do.
100% agreed, only problem was it crashed alot.
UEF T3 Heavy Assault Bot lost its rocket pack in the Final Game.
this is the video that plays in the background of the game menu!
i have a 2gig ram, Geforce 8800 GTA SLI, 3gig prossesser ,Ahthlon something, and 300gig mem, and my computer dosent even try have the time.......i wish i had a game that pushed it to the limits its been waiting for
That game looks kickass!
I can't wait to get this game later today
Which confuses me, because the performance for me is litterely cut in half.
I agree, though my tactic was guaranteed, many Zeus bombers on his commander, suicide bombers basically hehe
RELAX guys.. chill.. have a beer and play some games.. CHEERS!
Not to mention the Megalith! The size and health of it!
love sup com, great trailer!
It has nukes and a human faction, this game is for me :p
the spiderbot seems smaller in FA
I have the forged alliance expansion, man this is a great game I can run it on medium, but I have an Alienware comp, it is very demanding.
i`ve tried the demo, it works like crap on my sys, all the other demanding games like cod4, crysis run well, but SC works like a drunk old tard, eaven on medium-low settings, wtf?? as soon i builded 10 aircrafts it begun to move slow... is there anything to do?
I think you're covered.
i the begining it looks like the powerrangers
buy it quick because its been out for 2 years already.
i bought this game new for 5 quid yesterday lol. just installing now
The only reason this looks so crystal clear, is because it's a video made by Chris Taylor(Creator of SupCom) for showing the gameplay, not an actual game. It would be nice to have graphics like that though...lol
@bioniclesean I donno. Ask the Developers.
Battle of the Isthmus, I was there.
is this game made by the makers of "Total Annihilation"?
well i have 512 mb of ram, a Radion 9600 pro and 2.8 ghz prosser and it works fine on my comp on medium settings...
Incredible game really nice to play it!
Ill just go ahead and say it...I have to play this game at the internet cafe I live near..my comp lags a little to much for me lol..savin up to buy one of the comps they have at the cafe lol
This is in-game graphics right? If it is it's awesome.
you can get it in any store for a VERY low price.. But buy Supreme Commander AND Forged Alliance.. play Supreme Commander for the story and Forged Alliance for the best gameplay and graphics :)
you can't say this was not the best rts game of all time. Supreme isn't a big enough word
