Have you seen the movie "What Dreams May Come" ? It sounds a lot like what you are saying....that everyone defines their own version of Heaven. It rings true to me. A fabulous movie that hints at a lot of what I've heard from many who talk about the other side. I put it in the 'must see' category! One of Robin Williams best!

Good movie, that scene where he's speaking at his children's funeral, he actually had pictures of his own kids there while he was talking.

Never seen it but I want to now! As well as the one she mentions in the beginning of this video.
The Lovely Bones is one of my favorite movies. How the directors perspective shows that 1, time doesn’t exist in heaven. You just, are. And 2, how its ur own personal heaven. Nobodys is the same.
      😊❤️

Thanks Allison! Your last point is so important. You did a reading for me a few years back in Melbourne and you told me that my friend travels with me. He was a surfer and loved the ocean so even though I'm not big on water, I love being near it and every time I go on holidays now, I get in the ocean for him. Even Antarctica! (if he doesn't mention that one next reading, I'm gunna kill him when I get up there!) I feel him there EVERY time

Thank you Allison for your podcast. My mum past over on Friday 7th January 2022 at the grand age of 94. She had dementia and was unaware that she lived at home and I looked after her. She was very scared of dying. I’ve always believed in the other side and know he will be waiting for her. I just hope that her being scared will stop them meeting up. At least she is at peace . I'm an academic who has been immersed in exploring the unseen for many, many years. It's about an open mind and curiosity and a drive to evolve. We trap ourselves by buying into socially prescribed categories. Square pegs in round holes. Liberating ourselves is next to impossible because social mandates are constantly reinforced by our communities.

So many connections in the first few minutes. My parents passed in January 3 years ago and 8 years apart. They were Dutch immigrants. So world war horror stories and triumphs. The fishing comment .. my son and father in law were so connected he was his best man at our sons wedding . He taught my son to fish and it became a father son grand father bonding. He left his boat to our son in his will. He ended up quitting his well paying job doing fishing charters. He sold that boat… hard day bought a bigger one. Covid hit and he still managed to do well. He’s living his dream. My father in law paid a visit dream to everyone of my kids husband and sons. We miss him large. My aunt Vicky was killed 2 years ago in a car accident. She was full of life and didn’t look anything like her age. Thanks for this wonderful connections. I was meant to hear to hear. Hope to be as great a reader as you some day. Just need to get out of doubt and ego 😀

    I'm balling my eyes out..
My high school best friend died a few days before my birthday this year, a little more than a month ago. Her birthday was January 4th. The day before her birthday and on her birthday I kept hearing, take a shot for me, it's my birthday. And then my 22 year old daughter and I are standing in our kitchen and she looks at me and says.. we should take a shot for Candice's birthday, she'd like that...
Yes, yes she would.. my daughter doesn't drink hard alcohol.. so I took two, because I know she cant anymore and she definitely wanted a shot..
I've never heard outside my own head anything like that.. that they want you to enjoy the things they can't because they experience it through you.. and I just knew..
    Thank you.. 💜

I get the impression he is a LOT like Allison, very direct and outgoing vivacious. One of the reason's why she seemed like home to you. Yet challenging to your inner "quiet-tude". But you honor both of them because you get that generous heart and it comforts you, even if sometimes unsettling!

    • @kiradelarochefoucauld7499
      @kiradelarochefoucauld7499 2 года назад

Come to think of it, he reminds me a lot of MY dad! I wonder if they know each other over there? My dad was psychic intuitive. He probably knows i am a follower of Allison and always wondered about our DuBois ancestors. I often wondered about you, actually, how strange, now i'm getting your dad. I hope this is correct because I'm usually right when i get an instant impression. Was he into horses like my dad? I actually see him in a plaid sports coat. Like standard attire for the race track ala 70's era.

Thank you for doing these and sharing your experiences with readings. As i was listening to you for some reason I cried. It was a relief to know I can disconnect from a dark energy if I want to. Also when you were talking about suicide and how our loved ones go back to the time they were most happy my phone said yes. I don't know where it came from but my husband (who has witnessed me having things like this happen especially during a reading) heard it and laughed because he knew that spirit comes through like that all the time through electronics. It's just how they do it with me around. Normally the person on the other side of the reading especially if it's on zoom or video can't hear it but I do and even more interestingly anyone in the house can too.

And you wa Watch your life like it’s a movie and you get to relive every single experience regardless how trivial or how monumental and you get to see the effect you had on people that interacted with you and and what they’re thinking about it he said it’s very enlightening and I’m assuming that’s the hall of Akashic records. anyway he said after that you have like a coach that’s kind of like another version of you and he said that they encourage you to think in terms of the one.

I was just reviewing what does heaven look like from your point of you with your husband Joe. Loved your media series big fan of that kind of show that shows that medias can help people in society. One comment that I have not sure which is the best way directed. Not all families are happy family situation. I come from a very dysfunctional family. I try to be supportive of my mother and father was there for them when they both died my father just died recently. But there’s so much anger and hostility in my family that it’s sometimes unbearable. And throughout my life seems like I’ve been tested constantly by these different people in my life. Currently I am trying to live a more genuine life and let go of this negative energy. It’s difficult when you really want to have a sense of family when you can’t. I directed most of my energy towards my three boys which are wonderful. In life I broke the patterns as a negativity though I must say I’ve hung onto a lot of negativity throughout my life. But I wish they would just be happy now and I wish more people well though I do sometimes get angry and frustrated with these people that will attack me. I felt attacked and abandoned all my life so somehow I succeeded and I’m very content with my life I would like to be happier but I am just content most days and have my happy moments. Who meet you when you don’t have family that you feel like really cared about you. I know I have people from my past that were in and out of my life that if they hadn’t been there I don’t think I would’ve gotten where I am today. There’s certain things I’d like to have in my life I don’t need them but they would be wonderful to come around in that would be to have more people to share happiness with specially an individual I guess I would call them The male companion that I could trust and have a happy relationship with. I keep getting up every day and hoping that today might be the day that the things that don’t serve us well in life that hurt us and others would just eventually go away. I have no regrets other than maybe I hang onto things too long. Love listening to you much love and light.

    However, I have a totally random question…,
How is it that your skin glows so beautifully? I found myself studying your complexion trying to figure it out. It doesn’t look like make up. Just inner light or something! Can you bottle and sell it ??! ( just kidding)

    • @leslie6938

I know you’re asking Allison, but we had a similar situation when my husband’s father died.
On my husband’s parents 30th wedding anniversary their closest friends hosted an anniversary party at their home in another city about 3 hours away. The two families each had four kids around the same ages and had lived next door to each other while all the kids grew up. Everybody from both families was there (this was before my husband and I knew each other). All the kids were in their 20s then and several were married with small children of their own.
At some point my husband’s dad slipped away from the party. Later that night his mother found a note explaining he had driven back home. His mom and all the siblings drove back the next day as planned, and when his mom got home, she discovered her husband had moved out. It gets worse. She would later find out that he moved in with his much younger secretary and her 7 year old son. They lived about an hour away.
My husband, his mom and his siblings were all shocked and very hurt and angry. All four siblings naturally rallied around their mother. From that point on they had little contact with their father. I think he just didn’t know how to face his kids, and he lived far enough away that it would take deliberate planning to see them (and it didn’t help that he was alcoholic who drank at home every night,). The four kids felt as though their mother would interpret contact with their father as disloyalty to her. They also thought their father should reach out to them, and he felt his kids should reach out to him, so there was mostly just… estrangement.
When his dad married the girlfriend a couple of years later his kids only learned about it after the fact. They wouldn’t find out until after he died a few years later (heart attack), that he had adopted his current wife’s son. I was married to my husband by the time his dad died.
The current wife didn’t have a funeral or memorial service. It seemed to me like their little family of three mainly kept to themselves. She was a quiet, introverted person. interactions between her and my husband and his siblings were a little awkward due to the circumstances and not knowing each other very well, but there was no rudeness or ill feelings towards each other.
So my husband and his siblings and their families (including me) held a small service at a nearby lake. I use the term “service” loosely because it was done DIY, no minister or other official was there. Each sibling was given the opportunity to speak and some did, some didn’t. It was a little weird just due to the whole situation (and one sibling who couldn’t contain her anger towards their dad), but it did provide the sense of closure you get from a service after someone dies. Perhaps something similar would work for you.

Love your videos! I used to feel my dog who passed almost 3 yrs ago. Sometimes I'll be in a store and find a Schnauzer knick knack or card and feel like she's telling me she's with us. My heart still aches because the last thing she did was nudge me with her nose, which means 'Let's go". ;(

I love your interactions with Joe! I have a question. Is our Higher Self divine, or have they lived on Earth before like Spirit Guides? Thank you, Allison! I love your videos!

Hey Allison! Do you have a video or book where I might learn about the pain link you mentioned in this video with cancer, specifically breast cancer? I know there is a spiritual link but sure if the best way is to find it through hypnosis or seeing someone who is a medium. Thanks kindly.

Allison, a very tragic story has come to light out of Florida about a marine, deputy 24, and his 23 year old fiancé who committed suicide within 2 days of each other, leaving behind their 1 month newborn baby.
I have to wonder how this might affect their souls as well as that of their child. It’s difficult for me to see how parents, who generally have strong instincts to protect their young children, could cast aside the baby’s needs.
I pray this will not be the child’s legacy.

I've just started watching you, love it. Kinda can't help comparing you to the medium show, your husband doesn't look like his character, he looks like my brother, lol! Spooky x

If you don't ever want to come back to earth in physical form again, do we have a chance to stay on the other side? Can we go back and relive experiences and alter them to change the future from that point? Like 1985a in Back to the Future 2 (but not as hellish).
