I imagine in the 90s, the trail didn’t look like that, with the ladders/bridging? Rip that on a nice plush state of the art dual suspension Pro-Flex😂 I don’t know, 90s we’re a scene in mtn industry.

These types of trails were definitely being built in the late 90s in BC.
@@CANNABISfreedomNOtaxesmaybe they were. I raced a lot of XC and a bit of downhill mid to late 90s…never saw any elevated trails, but I wasn’t in the PNW…
@@Odhege8262 I grew up in Humboldt County, California, and we were building trails like this in the late 90s through the redwoods. It didn't really catch on with the "freeride" movement until the BC guys started showing up in the bike movies in the early 2000s.
@shawnmahar9420 the first real freeride movie was "Pulp Traction" in the mid 90s. Things started progressing pretty quickly after that and by 2000 we had some pretty bad ass freeride bikes and people like Bender started jumping off of cliffs. It was mind blowing back then. I remever watching Bender jump off of the roof of the Risse Racing shop in Redding California thinking "these guys are fuckin nuts!"

As a left foot forward rider, the right foot forward looks so off to me
I would hate to get injured from a narrow man made bridge.
Ok to me this is just plain dumb and a great way to get a ride on Flight for Life...but then again I hate skinnies and I just separated my AC joint on roll with some badly placed rocks so..yeah :p
