I really do not get it. Trevor can get burned while in Story Mode and respawn at the hospital, Michael can fall down the fucking Maze Bank tower and respawn at the hospital. But in the endings, they both die that way and NEVER RESPAWN! What fucking logic is that?
If you think about it, Trevor rarely got genuinely mad at Franklin. He helped save Lamar, even though Franklin saved Michael, who Trevor was glad to let die.
@@ziadbittar3797 Trevor’s stood up to the army, merryweather, FIB, IAA, the O’Neils, the Triad and many more. All armed, all gunning for him. He’s survived so much. @@ronintiger true dat, in a cutscene on gta online where he met this undercover DOA agent and was ambushed, he ran away instead of fighting them all. All because he was in a cutscene
This gotta be the saddest ending ever. Trevor died knowing that anyone that he had been true to has turned their back on him. Not to add if you choose to kill Michael he refused to take part in it
@@the_sam_strong Trevor was especially heartbroken, because his worst fear is being betrayed by those close to him. Michael ended up fighting back, probably because it took time for him to properly process what was happening
@@the_sam_strongyeah but even them he let Franklin off the hook on the tower. He didn’t want to kil someone he saw as his own son and thats why Frank had the opportunity to run away
Michael was way different though. He had a chance to kill Franklin when he broke into his house, and he actually was going to when you meet him for the first time and ending B he shoots at you during the chase. Trevor on the other hand could’ve killed Franklin here despite him being armed considering the fact that Trevor stood up to tougher people than Franklin and ran away instead. That’s real heartbreak
no he didnt for him being a psychopath was like a illness as you saw he struggled not to kill franklin when he tripped and got laughed at. He just cant control his rage but do you see him going around killing his friends? he is trying hard to hold it in because he cares. And trust me for a psycho like him it is a big deal. If anything he is better of a person than micheal.

to be fair, as soon as Franklin provoked him Trevor needed to be put down because he would hunt down Michael (and possibly his family) as well if he escaped.
Well I just played the whole game for first time. I have perfectly understood every protagonist story and emotionally, so i tactically choose the '' C ''. I was just curious what's the next 2 end's of the game so i decided to watch it on youtube. From that i have watched i just understood that even if he is a murder who drinks and takes drugs, a psychopath and sociopath. A guy that shouts as a freak, a guy who makes sounds of inadequacy and etc... Even if Trevor is crazy and gets mad with everyone. He is just one character that needs attention, guy that had very bad young ages, guy that was abused and ignored by everyone and that exactly made him to do all that. But even if he had so many weaknesses, he was a true friend, and he never betrayed his friends. He always tried to save and to help his best friends. Exactly that thing makes me like him so much. Respect for Trevor Philips he was the true hero!
I’ve picked ending C multiple times and ending A once. I only picked ending A because Trevor is just crazy and causes problems for everyone. He also almost got Michael killed.
@@kramarancko1107 Micheal brought Franklin up into this business, and by the end of the game he expresses how much he wishes he could still be in the hood, so he ices the person that got him here in the first place If that makes sense
@@kramarancko1107 Michael betrays his best friend for safety ensured by the FIB, Franklin betrays his father like figure/close friend for safety ensured by Devin Weston.
Out of all the endings, I feel as though A would be the option someone would pick in real life. I mean, it your friend was cannibalistic, completely psychotic, and got you on a private militia’s Hitlist after stealing a nuke and making you get kidnapped or have to kill a Chinese mob boss, you’d want him out of the equation as well.
Nah, but if it was only between the two, you bet your ass I'm killing that betrayal Michael before he gets rid of me down the road to cover his own ass.
There's something special about Trevor. As a player, you love him so much and consider him one of the best characters in GTA. But when you put yourself into Michael or Franklin's shoes, you realize he is a dangerous threat for them no matter how much he tries to change. Rockstar is really smart developing characters.
Option A is the most realistic, Option B doesn't make any sense and the game makes you feel like shit for doing it (as you should) and Option C is the real GTA V ending.
SR Ghost No, it doesn’t make any sense for the player. There’s a much more satisfying ending you can choose so why would you pick the more sad shittier ending?
SR Ghost What Michael did was wrong and he did betray his fellow friends to an extent in one way or another, but he is still human at the end of the day. Michael is not really seen more than just a liar, crook, and thief at the beginning but towards the middle/ end, his character builds (in my opinion) the most out of everyone in the game as when he does not have his family with him, he realized how much of a wretched mess he truly was and wanted to make what he learned for something more than just crime and at least in turn, be beneficial for others instead of just hurting people. For you, as Franklin, to simply disregard all the progress he made and still make him hinge up on the past and kill him for it is somewhat crazy to do. At the end, you choosing to kill him essentially is not making you better than Michael and just simply turning you into what he once was. You killing Michael will make essentially everybody dislike you. You took him away from his family, the only set of people, aside from Franklin and Trevor, that understood him and see that he has some good attributes within him. His Wife Amanda hopes that you burn in hell via an email she sends you and what does franklin reply? He doesn’t know what happened to him.... He lied to the mans damned own wife.... Jimmy calls you crying because his father his actually gone... Right before chasing Michael (if you choose killing him) Tracey gets into college but won’t have a father to show up to her getting there and watch her graduate and make something of herself (Just looking in a realistic sense) Also the game punishes you too as you don’t even get Michaels full cut but instead his family takes about 3/4 of it from the Big One/ Union Depository heist... Trevor, even though he hated Michael for what he did and for all the lies and cover ups he did for all them years led to the events that happened in story mode, He was still a friend towards Michael. When Franklin asked him to help kill Michael, he told franklin No as even with all that Michael did to hurt him, he did turn out somewhat decent at the end and did not want to backstab him just because someone told him too. That’s exactly why at the end, he sends you angry text messages relating to Michaels death and if you find and talk to him in freemode, he tells you to stay away from him as Michael was the only other person decent to him (same thing said by Michael himself before you kill him) and one of the final text messages he sends to you is “U R dead 2 me”, making you an even bigger backstabber than Michael. He knows you killed Michael and for you to lie to him and say you don’t know what happens angers him more. Franklin doesn’t man up for what he did, making everyone else upset at him one way or another. and We all know Trevor hates Liars above anything else in game. You literally take up Michael spot and the game punishes you and makes you feel like you did with all the negativity from the in game characters... Even Jimmy tells Franklin “fuck you” Michael was the mentor towards franklin and wanted to teach him that even tho the life of crime is filled with terrible mistakes, there are some things you never do and in the end, the student overthrew the teacher. Making Franklin even worst than Michael. Even though killing Michael would be “the right thing” to do considering everyone he has hurt and lied to, you killing him does not make you better than him as you literally took his place and ignored everything he tried to warn you... making you a bigger monster... This is all my take on it anyway
Jazalynn Powers I would engage with you, but i’m not, so I will keep it at a minimum. Considering you have nothing else to say nor were you relevant in the first place. Bye..
You r in hell right now Because simply you died in Cutscene. The protagonists who die in cutscenes can't respawn at nearest hospital. 2nd you are killer of many people so you have to go.
Seeing on how Steven Ogg has distanced himself from the Trevor character, while Solo and Ned continue to embrace their characters and are publicly seen together more, this feels like the canon ending of GTA 5. (Also Solo and Ned said they chose this ending, lol)
I know so did i. Judas betrayed Jesus for money and he ended up hanging himself after cause he could not live himself for doing that to his teacher, its heartbreaking 😢
Ending C is the canon ending and the perfect ending to GTA V. I can't see Franklin betraying and killing Michael or Trevor. They were good to him, especially Michael who was sort of a mentor/father figure to Franklin. Killing either of them would make Franklin a sellout.
+MsKira1313 Yeah, plus the fact that I would never have the guts to kill Trevor. I've had many people kill my favourite characters off, and I certainly ain't gonna do it myself.
how could he have killed franklin? even if his gun was in the glove compartment, they're pretty equal when it comes to shooting ability (michaal is the one with superior shooting) so franklin could clearly have killed him
Option A is the most realistic, and if option C wasn't in the game, this would probably be the canon ending. Option B is actually the saddest ending. You betray the person who made you a better criminal, and on top of that, his family is finally pulling itself together, and his daughters going to college. Later down the road, his son gets a job working for the GTA Online protagonist. Option C is the canon ending, and the most chaotic. In a hail of bullets, you eliminate every single person who has wronged you, all the while letting the 3 protagonists live and die in Los Santos.
The first time I thought C meant everyone dies. So I flipped a coin and got kill Michael. I felt horrible after doing it but then I didnt feel as bad when he turned out to be a fake friend and killed trevor even though trevor refused to kill him.
@@luis-lf2jz Well, he may not have actually blamed Franklin, since he said that he simply needed time off after Trevors death, which could imply that he was either in the grieving procces, or that he was just unhappy that he lost a friend. Then again, Michael would have ended Trevor's life if Franklin didn't shoot Trevor, therefore he shouldn't be grieving in the first place. Edit: grammar
@@luis-lf2jz It wasnt only about that but Michael is paranoid that Trevor could kill his family because he is Crazy like hell and have done so many thing on evil stuff he do.
@aryandhiman6439 GTA IV is a great game but I still prefer GTA V, Specially with how hard the ending hits. Also cause when I play GTA IV Roman asks to go bowling every time 😂
When I came to this choice, I went through it logically. Mr. Billionaire, you never paid me, I have no loyalty to you. FIB, you never pay me, and I have no loyalty to you. My friends, I have loyalty to, and I get paid when doing things with them. The choice is clear what must be done. And it feels so good once its done. I picked C.
Thats exactly where I was at with it!! Devin and Steve were both the type who never wanted their hands dirty and would set someone else to do the work for them just to erase them once they weren't useful......there was no long-term benefit to doing either of their bidding. You'd just end up in the same exact position as Michael: being an on-call lapdog for the next 20 years.....nahh I'm good lol
Ouissam but i feel like C is kinda force on, you know? May be seperate them out, having all of them talking on some of the biggest threat in LS in a single mission is a little rush May be do like this: mission 1: deathwish (take on both Merryweather and FIB fighting force) Mission 2: return to the hood (taking out Stretch in Grove Street, why not? he set up the drug fraud in Grove Street, and also i want more Grove Street man, get Lamar in here as well) Mission 3: settle the score (taking out FIB agent Steve Haine in the FIB building, basically a big assault heist like mission where they straight up attack the FiB HQ and assasinate agent Steve, bring all the heist buddy with you) Mission 4: dealing with outsider (take out mr Cheng, the Chinese mob boss or whatever, i dont really care about him) Mission 5: Early Retirement (attack Devin Weston’s mansion at night, kill all of Merryweather’s elite force, kidnapped Devin Weston, and while you’re at it, blow up his mansion, rob his stuff :D, and kill him, cutting all loose end) Last mission: Once a partner, always a friend ( Franklin suggest that Michael and Trevor should settle their stuff, so he asked Lester to help him, Lester call them out, Trevor and Michael have a “talk” and reconcile, Franklin then take them on kinda like a hangout mision, after that, everything gone back to normal, Franklin quit his criminal life and probably help Michael with movie or Trevor with his new Club, Michael making movies and bond with his family, Trevor’s still being Trevor, bam, role credit)
Exactly. These people feeling sad for him are honestly either really dumb or disgusting people. "Oh boo hoo the sociophatic cannibal is dead! He just wanted some friends!"

B: Bad Ending - Michael was finally getting his life together but he dies in such a tragic way leaving behind his family. C: Good Ending - Everyone but Trevor gets what's coming to them, but Trevor surviving means more content for the player so it's for the best.
Option A: I felt horrible having to do it but it felt like it was necessary Option B: I felt ever more like a piece of ____ for having to do that to Michael Neither A or B really gave me any closure. For both options Franklin is essentially doomed to go back to his old life in many ways with the only difference being his millions in the bank account and his new house having burned his new friendships to the ground in the process. Option C felt WONDERFUL. You get rid of the true enemies of the game (Haines + Weston) and at the same time you finish off the other minor enemies of the game and all three characters are able to walk away in a manner where they are able to put their issues to rest. The music used in all three ending is great but being able to finish off a game on a positive note was just wonderful.
It is funny how Michael was willing to help kill Trevor but Trevor wouldn't help kill Michael even though he wanted too even when franklin was going to kill Michael on the tower he tried getting franklin to kill Trevor then
8:56 this is why this ending isnt bad although not the best. By killing him they're indirectly avenging the death of countless innocent people that Trevor killed, or even worse
@@ryandiggs750 nah the currwnt one is better, cause its mkre tragic, trevor the unstopable maniac who can can fuck everyone up just couldent kill frank, instaid he just ran away cause he just couldent handle it,he have rage issues and yet he rly tried aa hard as he can so he wont kill him,and what rly hit me is when he crached into the gazoline, from his voice he just didnt want to live anymore,he didnt resist, the guy lost everything, the 2 friends he trust the most stabed his back,he have no familly,no friends,no wife no children, being bettryed again and again, and the guy is still loyal to his friends.
Sometimes I wonder why most people complain about options A and B. In fact, if you see them objectively, all three can be justified: A - Trevor becomes a liability, because of his mental issues. Also, letting him being alive could be dangerous for Michael. I mean, he could whistleblow the deal with the FIB Michael did, as some sort of retaliation. Then, as David Norton said once: "Then, I'll go to jail and you will get shot." Let's not forget why Michael betrayed Trevor and Brad: his family. While Trevor and Brad had nothing to lose, Michael did have something to lose. This would be the realistic ending for most people. You want to redeem yourself and protect innocent people, after harming them? You tie up loose ends. B - Michael had jeopardized his family, left doubts about how much he cares about them (Trevor said to Michael just before the Paleto Score: "All you ever did was ignore 'em, and now that they're gone, you miss 'em"), and ultimately, became the source of all problems to Franklin, after getting him fired from Premium Deluxe Motorsport, where he worked out. Not to mention that at that point, Amanda, Jimmy and Tracey were at risk of another assassination attempt. Ultimately, with his sociopath personality, and the lack of actions to prove he's not so selfish, seeing his family and friends would be too big of a reward (in short terms, Michael doesn't deserve any). C - Franklin was in, perhaps, his toughest situation in life: kill one of his partners. Atonished about it, required help to Lester. Initially, Lester said Franklin to "do A and B", literally. But Lester remembered about Steve Haines and Devin Weston problems, so it triggered the idea. But it wasn't without risk. Dealing with an FIB agent and a billionaire ain't a safe task. In the process, Harold Joseph got killed, to protect Franklin and Lamar. This ending is the "happy ending", but also a very lucky one. Cause it wasn't expected that Don Percival would have problems with Devin, so that would be a relief. Also, it became obvious that David would protect Michael, Trevor and Franklin, by using his influence as Steve's right-hand man. As I said, they're very lucky here.
With regard to your point about Michael being the source of all Franklin's problems, those problems ultimately earned Franklin up to $44 million dollars (depending on your approach to the Big Score, of course). And Franklin was the one who approached Michael first to offer him his services. Michael didn't ask Franklin for help.
@@kaidenhall2718 Franklin "being the worst in a fight" doesn't have anything to do, power levels don't really matter, franklin alredy has a gun pointed at trevor's face if trevor tries getting his gun out franklin is gonna notice and kill him
Theres nothing about "trevor kills franklin instead of running away" "franklin is the worst one in a fight" those ain't true he's fully confused on what situation he's in rn he prolly dont wanna draw his gun too because he knows franklin was his second close friend and he never wanted to betray one of his friends but it turns out his friends were the one trying to get him killed or should i say betray him
Option A: GTA4 Fanboys who want to avenge Johnny. Option B: People who hate Michael’s character. Option C: People who want to play one of the most satisfying conclusions ever in a video game.
That's why I picked option A. There was no way Trevor was gonna get away with what he did to my boy Johnny. Trevor did grow on me till the end but I still couldn't let what he did slide.
I feel like Trevor wanted himself to die right then and there, his best friend turned on him AGAIN, and then brought Franklin into it too. If Trevor survived, he would never trust those two the same again, and he wouldn't have the heart to kill them after that either...
the government doesn’t just go away after you shoot up a few FIB agents in a foundry, if anything that’d just make them want to kill you even more. that’s one thing that makes option A make way more sense than option C. killing trevor satisfies both the FIB and Merryweather and gets them off your case.
I don't know if Franklin knows the whole backstory, but Michael is the biggest asshole out of the three. He betrayed T in 2004, said "TrEvOr'S dEaD" with a laugh in 2013, seemingly rebuilt the friendship but didn't mind killing him anyway. Even in his own ending he invited his future killer to team up and "roll on T" :/
People say option C is the movie-like ending but I honestly think this one is the better movie ending, especially with the song and dialogue at the end.
Trevor committed many heinous acts, not just murder, but torture as well. One could say he got off better than he deserved. Betrayal hurts, but not as much as getting your head crushed by the same person who cheated with your girlfriend.
In Ending A and Ending B Michaels influence rubs off on Franklin causing him to kill the people who were loyal to him. Ending C Franklin stays true to himself and fights to keep two of his friends from being killed by each other and their enemies. Franklin was the most important piece of the puzzle that was Michael and Trevor, without Franklin mediating one of them would’ve been killed by the other.
7:45 Trevor might be a psychopath, but the thing he valued above everything was loyalty. Michael says Trevor cares for nothing, but he actually cared for things Michael didn’t care about.
@@AownAli-xi8jq Trevor was loyal to F and even Mike even though they hated each other, when you kill Mike Trevor will refuse the offer to help Franklin because Trevor cares about him. I get it that he's a psycho and all but at least he would never betray his friends. Also if you did option A happily then you're pretty heartless. And you are pretty selfish too because you made Franklin kill his friend because you thought he would kill Mike and Franklin because he is a psycho so you killed him to save your own ass. But it is just a game soooo....
A lot of people seem to hate Trevor for how horrible they think he is, but in all honesty I would rather trust Trevor far more than I would trust Michael. One thing's for certain, if you are friends with Trevor and loyal to him, he will not betray you, despite all his other tendencies. Michael, on the other hand, doesn't have that same sense of loyalty, and that's why I would take Trevor over Michael. Either way, option C is better regardless.
I'd definitly disagree on that one. Just for the record...all three of them are horrible persons or maybe even monsters. However the reason why Michael backstabbed Trevor was his (even for criminal standards) monstrous behaviour. And even then he just backstabbed his crew to save his own family and life. It may not be a loyal decision but a decision most people''d do. Trevor on the other hand is a complete monster (his actions speak for themselfes).... and not even a loyal friend considering he would've let Michael die two times. One time when Michael got nearly slaughtered for the business Trevor did with the chinese and the other (non-canon) time when he didn't warned or helped Michael when Franklin tried to kill Michael in ending B. In that regard however both of them still like each other deeply and will be very displeased with the death of the other as they won't hang out with Franklin when he kills either of them and acutally will make peace when meeting after the main storyline. Also Michael never backstabbed Franklin...but not gonna lie... he'd do it without a second thought if it was needed for him or his family to survive. Ending C is without a doubt the best one. I don't want to change your mind or anything like that. I like all of these characters and talking about a great game which is why I wrote this comment. Have a nice day. ^-^
Blazin Dino I'm going to have to disagree with you still. While a lot of people cite Trevor's monstrous behavior, he still is loyal to people he considers his real friends. Franklin is perhaps the best example. Trevor didn't necessarily "betray" Michael over the Chinese. First of all, Trevor couldn't have possibly known Michael was going to get caught until he got that phone call. And secondly, it's a case of no long believing in your friend instead of betrayal. Trevor just learned the truth about Brad and the Prologue heist, how do you think he would've felt? How do you think anyone would have felt to learn he was set up to die and lied to about one of his crewmates all these years? But yes, at the end of the day, I agree that all three of them are horrible people. I just don't think Trevor deserves to be as demonized as much as he is. He may be disgusting, but he's still straight and true. Michael, on the other hand, could easily betray you if he saw something in it for him or his family. And that's how I feel about that.
Honestly you bring up some seroious points I haven't considered right now. You're right most people would've let Michael die after all these lies and considering Trevor just found out about Brad being dead the whole time. I don't think Trevor is a demon... I think the name of this mission and also the credit song are describing Trevor really well. I always thought his problem is that he wanted to be loved but he can't show his own affection to people properly and this combined with his... explsovie nature (which i really love xD) he scares them away. I'd even go so far that I think that Trevor would've helped Michael defend himself against Franklin. However I just think Michael isn't the snitch he often gets made out to be. He is a big hypocrite (judging Trevor while still killing people himslef) but his reasons for snitching were pretty valid and he didn't had much of a choice. He did what he did... but I think people often give him way too much shit for what he did and why. I guess considering how Trevor treats Wade and Ron I'd more likely be friends with a person like Michael... but to be honest... neither of the should be.
I like how Rockstar has put in so much derails in this game to the extent that the death of Trevor or Michael is customised to their characters and traits. Trevor, being a highly unpredictable and petulant person, death by raging fire and explosion. (Option A) Michael, being a cunning and selfish man, who are willing to sacrifice anyone and anything to reach the top, death by falling, an assisted kill by his very apprentice. (Option B) Franklin, on the other hand, plays the role of a mediator between M and T, who both possess opposing conflicting traits. In a sense, Franklin replaced Brad, keeping the fragile pact of friendship between the trio together.(Option C)
But, it was said that Brad was worse then Trevor. Being a complete sadist and a complete dipshit as shown during the hangout with Michael and Trevor after ending C.
@@kr0626 he does but these nightmares start after killing trevor which are different when you spawn as micheal after ending A he has a nightmare so it makes sense
As sad as this is, Michael does have a point, Trevor has no boundaries, no limits for anything, he's a complete psycopath. That's why Franklin killin Michael doesn't make any sense in this game
In the game if you kill Michael, Trevor texts you saying that you’re dead to him and when you kill Trevor Michael is relieved that he’s gone. Trevor a real one.
Yeah, maybe you're right. Trevor Philips's sometimes y'know, "angry minded", but still he's a bit kind-hearted too. Woah! What a name of the Final "Achievement Unlocked - To Live or Die in Los Santos".
michael did do the right thing though. trevor is a psychopath and a huge danger for all the others. no one (including the player and the game characters) could have known that C would work out as as good as it did.
@Infinite Warlock -Trevor puts Franklin and Michael at risk with that Merryweather score. They all would have been killed by the government but Lester could save them. -Trevor abuses his friends physicially and mentally, especially Wade and Ron. (and apparently he even is sexually abusive with Wade) -He kills people when he gets a little upset, mostly for no good reason. (I mean killing Johnny K was completely pointless) -He is a cannibal, human stew. -He loves torture. -In North Yankton he pulled the trigger but the pistol was jammed, so he actually wanted to kill Michael. -And he let the Chinese kidnap Michael, later they wanted to kill him, because of Trevors previous actions. -He never shows any regrets for his actions and constant fuck ups So Trevor really *is* a deranged psycho and a danger to his friends. There is no wonder people would stab him in the back. And he may be a friend. But he is really doing a bad job as a friend. Michael betrayed his friends once. But with a very good reason. It was for him and his family. He put his family first as every man should do. And you can see he still has regrets for his actions.
From strictly a story perspective, I still think this is the best of the three endings. It's brutal, but it feels oddly appropriate in how it wraps up the story's main threads. Franklin completes his "education" with Michael, and Michael finishes the betrayal that he began all those years ago in North Yankton. Still, I always choose The Third Way. It offers more engaging gameplay, and it's satisfying in a classic "You can totally win in GTA!" kind of way.
Yeah I kind of got tired of the "C is the only ending" bandwagon. I think C is still a viable ending but this one feels like the most developed and grounded story about three criminals.
@@fucker9412 nah bro it’s the 2nd best behind option c. Realistic wise and gameplay after. It was Trevors choice to be loyal. Michael and Franklin didn’t owe Trevor anything. Trevor killed Johnny Klebitz so Trevor got what he deserved.
I feel so bad for Trevor. His worst fear is betrayal and he experienced that by the only two people who he truly loved the most. And not only that, he didn’t try to escape the gasoline, he just wanted to die, he had no family or friends.
lol Michael literally outright said why he betrayed him. Imagine your friend is a cannibalistic psychopath who goes on murder rampages visits you regularly and acts like things a normal. Trevor is betrayed constantly since he's literally unhinged and no one sensible would befriend him. He already abuses those who are loyal to him (Wade and his cousin)
@@cloud99955 honestly the problem wasn't about killing Johnny, it's the way Rockstar decided to make johnny's death, really, on TLAD he did everything he could for his gang, while Billy (the President of the lost mc at 2008, since johnny was just the vice president) was in jail until the beginning of the game, he did everything he could to make sure the members of the Lost MC could eat, get money, survive, etc. then billy is released of jail, Johnny becomes the vice president again, and billy starts putting them into unnecessary danger because of his insanity and his ego. after that Billy gets into a trap, blames Johnny but it was BILLY who led them into the trap, his partner Brian is also a snake and tries to kill johnny and his most loyal partners like Terry and Clay and Jim, he fails obviously and gets clapped afterwards, after that Johnny becomes the oficial president of the Lost mc again, Ashley calls him saying she got in trouble and Johnny was the only person that could help her, he gets into a ton of unnecessary conflicts with the mafia, also ray decided to use his help because Ashley was such a bitch she was dating ray and using his ex that was Johnny to do the dirty work for ray, then the Libertonian Deal happens, luis screws it up, johnny escapes with the money, Jim gets caught by Ray, they both manage to escape but Ray sent Niko to kill Jim (jim was a cool guy btw) while Ray sent a bunch of Mafia hitmans to kill johnny, and obviously they fail, after that johnny knows the gang is fucked, and discovers Billy is going to tell everything he knows to the police, seeing that the gang won't last longer, and that billy will betray everyone he knows, Johnny and the gang does their final job as the Lost MC, they blows up the prison's entrance, kill a bunch of cops, invade the backward and finally executes billy, after that Johnny accepts that the Lost MC is done for, and decide to put fire on their own clubhouse, that was honestly very sad to watch, considering everything he did for his bros was in vain, after that he decides to use the money he gets and gives it to Jim's wife and kid, basically he gave up his life in tje Lost MC club decides to live a more "normal" life, really if you played The Lost and Damned (which i doubt considering most GTA V players never played GTA IV or it's Dlcs) you would understand why the Johnny you see in TLAD wouldn't become the johnny in GTA V, using the excuse that "johnny got addicted to drugs because of ashley" is so unrealistic, johnny ALWAYS declined the drug thing and the reason he broke up with ashley was because of the drug problem. heck most GTA V players thinks johnny was a weak guy because of V, those childs thinks trevor is the ultimate gta V character, but god damn, you can't write a good story and them throw it out of the window because you want to make your GTA V character more cool and stuff, at least they should've gave johnny a chance to fight back, his death is so stupid.
If you understand mental illness, you will realize how much of a human he is, he had mental issues and if you played carefully, in whole game, Trevor said he had bad childhood around 2 times. He struggled to control his anger, when it was time to kill Michael, Trevor didn't take part in it. Trevor was a real, loyal man...
@@lancewilson423 he was loyal to everybody. But Michael and Franklin were cunts and they betrayed Trevor. Yes, Trevor was psychopatic, cannibalistic killer, but he was good man and very important thing - He was loyal and he could be the greates friend.
Idk how anybody could feel bad for Trevor. He's a violent psychopath in all of the worst ways. Tbh I hated him the moment I took control of him, after he killed Johnny and The Lost MC. Lost and Damned was a big part of my early years with gaming.
Yes, Trevor committed terrible acts, with the killing of Johnny just being one of them. But think of it. His father beat him when he was young, then eventually left, his mother left then returned a bunch of times whilst being a prostitute, and was rejected from the military (his only purpose at the time) because of his insanity. Those are just a couple reasons to feel bad for the guy.
@@Beret413just because you had a bad past doesnt mean thats an excuse for being a psychopath and going on killing and raping sprees, is it? insane how people are like "yeah he is a serial killer BUT"... 😅
It's simple, he's a really likeable character, liking someone like that in real life is something sick and twisted that no one should do, but y'now, this is a videogame none of the things that Trevor did actually happend so of course that people are gonna have a soft spot for him
How I see the endings, pros and cons: Option A: -Trevor is my favorite character so huge con there -I hate the resentment Michael has for Trevor after you kill him. It seemed like their relationship was slowly improving through the story. Also after Trevor dies Michael mentioned Trevor never cared for anyone, while in reality he did, really only to his closest friends. Michael never got to see that with this ending. +The ONLY pro I can find about this option is it would be (somewhat) logical for Trevor to be eliminated. Option B: +With this ending Michael gets a taste of his betraying medicine -The reason for eliminating Michael is...? -The phone call about Tracey going to college, and him inviting Franklin over for dinner sometime, and just general improvement of his situation RIGHT BEFORE he gets clipped is fucking depressing. Michael really liked and trusted Franklin. Option C: +All loose ends are tied +Any differences between characters are resolved +None of the main characters died +Any missions missed with any characters can be done so 100% completion is still available +Michael lives "happily" with his family +With the money, Trevor can expand Trevor Philips Enterprises
Anakin Skywalker Yeah it is kind of unrealistic in the fact that Steve Haines is a government agent and Trevor kills him in a crowded amusement park. Whoever is the 2nd of command of Wei Cheng’s crew doesn’t think to go after Trevor since he’s associated with Franklin (surely if they knew Michael was involved with Trevor by staking out his trailer they’d know that Franklin is also an accomplice of Trevor’s since he was at his meth lab). Also how does Franklin even know what Wei Chang looks like and how does Michael know what Stretch looks like?
around the middle of the game. When you end up laying low with Michael in the desert. If you switch to Trevor right before the mission where the o’neils try to hunt Trevor down. You can experience a dialogue when he wakes up from being passed out drunk. He goes “are you just going to stand there while I burn to a crisp?” And in this ending. That’s exactly what happens. Trevor had a dream about how he would die. I’m sure a lot of you already know this but I never noticed it and found it interesting
Yes, few people like this ending. But the mere fact that it's such a cold and apathetic outcome gives it value for me. This ending is perfect, we begin the story of a man with a family who betrayed his companions. That man years later swears that he will change, until his old partner appears. The old partner is betrayed again by that man. Trevor's story and Something Sensible teaches us that you can't trust a second time in someone who betrayed you in the past, because if they betray you a second time, it's your fault for trusting them. The irony is further increased in The Time's Come, when Franklin, the person trusted by Michael (a blunder, since being a traitor you shouldn't trust other people) becomes the mirror of his faults and betrays him. From my point of view, A and B are the outcomes for those who think that most of the people can't change and we can't escape from our past or our faults (as the credits song of this ending says ) and the ending C is for those who are more optimistic and think that a person can change.
It's crazy how this touched so many people even though this is the most realistic ending as trevor is a literal serial murderer and psycho (more so than frank & michael I guess). But well since this is a game you can't help but love the guy and it really sucks he got betrayed by the ones he clearly considered as real friends, even worse when you consider he couldn't bring himself to help frank out in ending B. He's the best character in the game imo That said, as generic as it is, ending C should be considered canon. Entire game leads you to believe franklin respects and likes those 2 guys and wouldn't take part in killing either of them
Finally someone who gets it, betraying someone's trust once is one thing but doing it twice after he barely gets over the first time is something completely else especially if that person's been loyal the whole time
Each time you, Michael or Trevor gets wasted they respawn in the nearest hospital. In the A or B Ending Michael or Trevor felt betrayed by Franklin and lost his determination to live
Let's get 1000 subscribers without videos!!!! When a Protagonist Player dies during Playing the game they will respawn but if the Protagonist Player is dead during cutscene means they are dead
Paul Starrish yeah I killed in too many people in GTA games yet only me respawn at the nearest hospital even if I'm not in the city! God, I wonder how I reach the hospital and don't die on my way to it!
“But the way I see…the way anyone normal would see it. Not that any of this shit is normal. You gonna get us all fucking killed.” The saddest part about this quote, is that Franklin’s completely right. Any normal person would see that Trevor is a huge liability. He’s unpredictable, psychotic and causes way too much attention onto them. Michael’s an asshole, but he’s at least level headed and predictable. Trevor isn’t. It’s not unrealistic that Franklin believes he needs be taken out before they end up having to look over their shoulders for the rest of their life or end up in a ditch dead.
I really think this is something serious guys, even it is just a game. So, for me Trevor is such a monster. F, M, and T, are "bad guys" they killed people for their purposes. But Trevor, he killed because of anger issues, unsatisfactory, and for no legit reason at all. Imagine this happens to someone close to you. They were fine and good, but just because they rejects Trevor's demand they got killed horribly. What do you think? This game really shows us how Trevor was. He was reliable and not a liar, loyal and trustworthy. But that's because we played him, we know how he acts and his behaviours. Something emotional takes part here, makes us want to keep Trevor alive. But for normal person, I think Trevor really should be gone for good, unless he could be 'that' normal person. This is different from Michael, that really want to become normal for good. Eventhough he is a liar and selfish, but still reasonable and loyal to Franklin. I think if Trevor was fine and not dangerous, Michael would be more loyal to him and considered him more as a human being. Well, at least that's what I've been thinking.
Yeah, you lost me at "image this happens to someone close to you" You sound like those middle aged white moms complaining that "video games like this are how shootings hapen"
Lets just be honest and rational: This ending makes sense. Trevor is a psychopath and unpredictable, he definitely would cause Michael problems in the future as he did troughout the game, plus he treated Ron and Wade like shit, plus he killed Johnny for no reason (not that I really liked Johnny, but still), plus he killed the absolutely innocent couple Floyd and Debra. Yes he is loyal to Mike and Franklin, and yes, I really enjoy playing T because it is always entertaining and amusing to play him, but this ending still DOES make sense. Just put yourself in Michaels position. I always choose the C option because again, I like Trevor, he is maybe the most iconic character in the GTA universe ever, but this is the most realistic ending. The B option is just Bullshit and the C option is the Hollywood-style Happy end.
I get tired of the "C is the only option" bandwagon. It's definitely a viable ending but this one feels the most grounded and developed for a story about three criminals.
I don't understand why from a story standpoint anybody would choose the other endings anyways. Trevor is not only clearly a liability but he is the worst person in that whole game
HeroRareheart I'd say Micheal is the real liability. He's the one in the FIB's pocket with a penchant for fucking over his homies. Trevor never retired from the life and he's gone free just fine since the first time Micheal was eager to kill him.
Imagine how mad Trevor's gonna be when he respawns at the hospital.

+Carson McDonald trevor like big smoke in gta sa
I really do not get it. Trevor can get burned while in Story Mode and respawn at the hospital, Michael can fall down the fucking Maze Bank tower and respawn at the hospital. But in the endings, they both die that way and NEVER RESPAWN! What fucking logic is that?
Lololol man you made my day
He could've killed Franklin, but instead he ran away... He was actually heartbroken
If you think about it, Trevor rarely got genuinely mad at Franklin. He helped save Lamar, even though Franklin saved Michael, who Trevor was glad to let die.

@@ziadbittar3797
Trevor’s stood up to the army, merryweather, FIB, IAA, the O’Neils, the Triad and many more. All armed, all gunning for him. He’s survived so much. to be fair, as soon as Franklin provoked him Trevor needed to be put down because he would hunt down Michael (and possibly his family) as well if he escaped.

Option A is the most realistic, Option B doesn't make any sense and the game makes you feel like shit for doing it (as you should) and Option C is the real GTA V ending.
Option B doesnt make any sense? What? It actually makes the most sense
Right before chasing Michael (if you choose killing him) Tracey gets into college but won’t have a father to show up to her getting there and watch her graduate and make something of herself (Just looking in a realistic sense)
Also the game punishes you too as you don’t even get Michaels full cut but instead his family takes about 3/4 of it from the Big One/ Union Depository heist...
Even Jimmy tells Franklin “fuck you”
Michael was the mentor towards franklin and wanted to teach him that even tho the life of crime is filled with terrible mistakes, there are some things you never do and in the end, the student overthrew the teacher.

Neither A or B really gave me any closure.

Sometimes I wonder why most people complain about options A and B. In fact, if you see them objectively, all three can be justified:
A - Trevor becomes a liability, because of his mental issues.
Underrated comment. And also, the best comment of this entire section.
Underrated
With regard to your point about Michael being the source of all Franklin's problems, those problems ultimately earned Franklin up to $44 million dollars (depending on your approach to the Big Score, of course). And Franklin was the one who approached Michael first to offer him his services. Michael didn't ask Franklin for help.
I agree with everything else you mentioned though.

Franklin and Michael : Mr Klebitz sent his regards
That's fair enough.
Blazin Dino if you did option b, wouldn't Trevor be pissed the fuck off, either killing Trevor or Franklin.
I like how Rockstar has put in so much derails in this game to the extent that the death of Trevor or Michael is customised to their characters and traits.
Trevor, being a highly unpredictable and petulant person, death by raging fire and explosion. (Option A)
Michael, being a cunning and selfish man, who are willing to sacrifice anyone and anything to reach the top, death by falling, an assisted kill by his very apprentice. (Option B)
Franklin, on the other hand, plays the role of a mediator between M and T, who both possess opposing conflicting traits. In a sense, Franklin replaced Brad, keeping the fragile pact of friendship between the trio together.(Option C)
Never a truer word has been said, my friend
But, it was said that Brad was worse then Trevor. Being a complete sadist and a complete dipshit as shown during the hangout with Michael and Trevor after ending C.
It's a nice touch that if you pick this ending, afterward michael keeps having nightmares and it's never at peace like when you pick the c option
But he has nightmares even at the start of the game, at least I think so
@@kr0626 he does but these nightmares start after killing trevor which are different when you spawn as micheal after ending A he has a nightmare so it makes sense

@Infinite Warlock Except that doesn't work with your argument because you just indirectly called his response a fact xD. Also what's with the salt ?
@Infinite Warlock
-Trevor puts Franklin and Michael at risk with that Merryweather score. They all would have been killed by the government but Lester could save them.
-Trevor abuses his friends physicially and mentally, especially Wade and Ron. (and apparently he even is sexually abusive with Wade)
-He kills people when he gets a little upset, mostly for no good reason. (I mean killing Johnny K was completely pointless)
-He is a cannibal, human stew.
-He loves torture.
-In North Yankton he pulled the trigger but the pistol was jammed, so he actually wanted to kill Michael.
-And he let the Chinese kidnap Michael, later they wanted to kill him, because of Trevors previous actions.
-He never shows any regrets for his actions and constant fuck ups
So Trevor really *is* a deranged psycho and a danger to his friends. There is no wonder people would stab him in the back.
And he may be a friend. But he is really doing a bad job as a friend.
Michael betrayed his friends once. But with a very good reason. It was for him and his family. He put his family first as every man should do. And you can see he still has regrets for his actions.

This was the most heart beating and realistic ending because you don't know what will happen to trevor.

The only person who can kill a protagonist is the protagonist. What a beautiful story
That one NPC car when you’re going 90 MPH: Hold my beer.
Until said protag respawns at the hospital
How I see the endings, pros and cons:
Option A:
-Trevor is my favorite character so huge con there
-I hate the resentment Michael has for Trevor after you kill him.
Option B:
+With this ending Michael gets a taste of his betraying medicine
-The reason for eliminating Michael is...?
-The phone call about Tracey going to college, and him inviting Franklin over for dinner sometime, and just general improvement of his situation RIGHT BEFORE he gets clipped is fucking depressing. Michael really liked and trusted Franklin.
Option C:
+All loose ends are tied
+Any differences between characters are resolved
+None of the main characters died
+Any missions missed with any characters can be done so 100% completion is still available
+Michael lives "happily" with his family
+With the money, Trevor can expand Trevor Philips Enterprises
Zacchary Picardal ,
Aswin Anil i think B is (sort of karma) to michael for the prolouge mission
Only con about option C is ; not realistic
What you said about 100% completion is wrong tho. You only need to do Franklin's side missions to reach 100%
The way he says "fake" At 7:57 is kinda heartbreaking
This ending makes sense for the narrative of gatv, the main conflicted started with trevor finding micheal and ended with him leaving
Gatv? Grand Auto Television?
“it’s certainly been an education” ... my heart 💔
Let's apreciate how Steven ogg burnt himself for a video game
F
This actually gets me curious. How did they do the motion capture? Did he just roll around and they added in the fire afterwards in the game?
@@masonconway2007 probs
@@masonconway2007 I highly doubt they set a man on fire to make their cutscenes authentic
@@masonconway2007 they set Steven Ogg on fire for that scene
around the middle of the game.
The fact that he didn't want to betray Mike :,(
Oh boo hoo. Poor widlle rapist cannibal.
"I thouth i was with the one judas,I am surrounded by them"
-Trevor Philips (1965-2013)
I think mainly people who liked gta 4 tlad choose this ending
Trevor had it coming xd
It's crazy how this touched so many people even though this is the most realistic ending as trevor is a literal serial murderer and psycho (more so than frank & michael I guess).
But well since this is a game you can't help but love the guy and it really sucks he got betrayed by the ones he clearly considered as real friends, even worse when you consider he couldn't bring himself to help frank out in ending B. He's the best character in the game imo
That said, as generic as it is, ending C should be considered canon. Entire game leads you to believe franklin respects and likes those 2 guys and wouldn't take part in killing either of them
Finally someone who gets it, betraying someone's trust once is one thing but doing it twice after he barely gets over the first time is something completely else especially if that person's been loyal the whole time
Why didn't Trevor just spawn at the hospital? Lol
im pretty sure your talking about every time when u play as Trevor he gets killed and spawn at the hospital.
He is not supposed to
sad part is trevor really was a good friend to franklin and he trusted him, but he experienced the same event twice by both of his best friends
It just made me sad to watch Trevor die
not me Michael's dath is the worst one trevor deserves that
+Baleiera trevor gets mad when franklin sais hes going to kill Michael but when franklin sais hes going to kill trevor Michael helps kill him
Bani fuck u
“But the way I see…the way anyone normal would see it. Not that any of this shit is normal. You gonna get us all fucking killed.”
The saddest part about this quote, is that Franklin’s completely right.
When Michael drives into Trevor's car it feel kinda epic but sad too because Michael betrayed Trevor again.
Well, at least that's what I've been thinking.
you're literally a pussy wtf
stopped reading when you noted "Imagine if this happens to someone close to you". It's a game, don't apply it in real life, it's literally pure dumb.
@@BakedPotatoYT1 ye but some ppl does protect trevor like facts that why he is a good person
Yeah, you lost me at "image this happens to someone close to you"
You sound like those middle aged white moms complaining that "video games like this are how shootings hapen"
He killed johhny
Killing Debra and Floyd was selfdefence
He didnt kill floyd

Ending A: He dies
Ending B: His Friend is killed
Ending C: He has to walk home
@@Jailytics bro it isn't stolen stop accusing people cause you can think of a good comment
Can't
The worst thing about this is: trevor didn't even tried to atack you... TREVOR.
Celio Hogane he is loyal to F and M to the end
I get tired of the "C is the only option" bandwagon. It's definitely a viable ending but this one feels the most grounded and developed for a story about three criminals.
I don't understand why from a story standpoint anybody would choose the other endings anyways. Trevor is not only clearly a liability but he is the worst person in that whole game
@@HeroRareheart It makes sense why Micheal would want to get rid of him.
@@HeroRareheart Trevor is my favorite character in GTA V.
HeroRareheart I'd say Micheal is the real liability. He's the one in the FIB's pocket with a penchant for fucking over his homies. Trevor never retired from the life and he's gone free just fine since the first time Micheal was eager to kill him.
No it doesn't
