assalamo alaikom, insha Allah you and the noble scholars are in the best condition. My concern is: if a person has never prayed in his life, but at last (he died alone), we didnt see him praying or not, but his finger was visible as Shahada and a healthy face, can we perceive him as a Muslim? For example, practicing for him Sadaqa jaria etc. Would be glad for an answer.
Depends on where he lives and what is the official madhab in his country try. If he lives in a hanafi land or other fowh schools who do not do takfir of the one who abandoned the prayer then he is a Muslim however if he lived in hambali land the he is to be treated as a non muslim
