I could see this going as far as Draymond being released from the team due to his behavior not alining with warrior team culture. It’s a fair question. If Steph said he wanted Draymond gone after he sucker punched Jordan Poole, he would have never gotten that next contract. The only way they extend Draymond is if they know Steph is ok with it, because between them he’s the one they care about because he’s the one that’s actually good at basketball.

They have one flaw in this leadership argument. Everyone is talking like Steph should shoulder the responsibility of reining in a Draymond Green. THAT is why no one holds Curry or Kerr responsible for Green's behavior.

I agree with this take as much as I love steph. When Ja did what he did everyone kept saying the coach and his teamates were not holding him accountable despite that those were off court antics. These are on court antics that directly impact the game and their season outcome and yet I never hear of anyone calling him out. And it's time someone did.
Imma keep it real this is a crazy question but the only reason it’s valid is because when Lebrons teammates act out they blame him, same with Mahomes and his WRs dropping passes and they question his leadership. When the Nets and kyrie were acting out , they blamed KD and his leadership. So it’s only fair to do the same to steph.
Steph is the "golden child" so he doesn't get the same treatment he can't do wrong in the media's eyes

Im a 76ers fan and love steph and respect curry and what hes done for the game. However, i never saw him as the leader of gsw. Emotional leader(no). Just their charismatic leader and best player. He plays the more likeable all around good guy rather than an mj lbj or giannis even type role leader. That's why dray can do or say whatever he wants. Period!!
