Black metal has been to some strange, adventurous places since its inception, and especially over the past decade. The orthodoxies of old still exist, but it seems that more and more bands are willing and capable of looking beyond the boundaries laid down during the 90s, and take in all manner of influences and to chart new sonic territories whilst still remaining undeniably black metal. "Cult of fire" is an excellent example of this.

It's been a very long time since I couldn't be able to discover my new music gem, and now finally I came across the Cult of Fire, I'm absolutely mind blown by this band, such theatrical and interesting lyrical approach for a Folk/Black Metal band, simply amazing costumes and stage production and the music itself of course, I'm truly a new fan right now...

Does anyone know the meaning of this song? I've been looking for English translations for their music but can't find any.
Well, the title says in English: "A Testament to the World", and the lyrics could be summarized in this way. It´s basicaly about darkness, spiritual visions and seeking guidance from Satan.
