Fabian Hürzeler is a good coach and I love his brand of football. The games vs Arsenal and Man United showed me he is no mug, I'm definitely keeping my eye on Brighton this season. I enjoy watching them play football. This is a good chance for the team to put in a good performance and beat Brighton and hopefully the atmosphere can start to change at the bridge with positive performances.

Palmer also stinks at right wing in Maresca's setup. He needs an overlapping fullback on his outside to work at RW. His main thing is that right half-space and he can't really work it in the Maresca setup where he's the only one keeping width on the right. I agree that Nkunku should be a second striker kind of number 10, but Palmer has to be more on the inside of the pitch than on the outside.
What we need is a double 10 setup, one way or the other.
Just imagine we play Felix as no. 10, Palmer in R.W, Jackson in L.W and Nkunku as no. 9? That way we would have all our goal threats and best attackers on the field at thesame time and they can all interchange during the game. I bet this would be a serious nightmare for any team in the world. This would be our best attack, for real. Come on you Blues. 💙💙💙
On paper yes but that setup of the chemistry thereof is yet to work. Don't want to try that in a game like Brighton.

The way Brighton like to play they will leave space in behind and in terms of exploiting that space Nico Jackson is one of the best strikers in the league to do that with his pace

Nkunku isn't a striker. He's a second striker. And he's probably the best pure goal scorer on the team. Jackson is obviously the better striker and him playing makes everybody else better. So the answer obviously isn't which of Nkunku and Jackson but rather to play both. That means Palmer has to play a little deeper but he can absolutely do that, if he has to. Having players out wide and both of Nkunku and Jackson up front gives him more room as well as more passing options, which just makes him even better.
Have Gusto invert into the back 3, let Cucu invert into midfield, play Caicedo-Palmer-Nkunku in the nominal midfield, and go for broke. Or play a classic 4-2-3-1 with an offensive right back overlapping and Palmer as right winger, Nkunku as the 10. Either will work.
