When the leagues started closing for lockdown i think Swansea should have been playing at Middlesborough and they'd already booked to stay in the north east so they took the South Shields v FC game in as our league ran another week after all the others. The Swansea lads were loving it in with the FC fans everyone was shitfaced. Think there were Sheffield United fans there as well in the South Shields end as their game v Newcastle was postponed.
Football got canceled due to covid, our season ended after this game too. Swansea was supposed to be playing Boro, trains already booked and came to the game, sound lads, quite a few different groups of fans in the away end that day, including two from Holland. Mint day!
