Your choice of fabric on your projects is always top knotch! Love watching all your lovelies and boy do we have the same tastes when it comes to samplers. ♥️
Hi Kristi I loved your floss tube today! Thanks so much for sharing! I have just recently got back into cross stitch after 20 years and I’m having a lot of fun with it. I also love to quilt and it’s always nice to see all your shares for stitching 🧵 and quilting! I have too many ideas now...lol!! Good luck to Haley on all her testing for school! Stay safe and I look forward to your next floss tube!💐
I love all your projects - especially your ferris wheel quilt and your project bags! I'm a stitcher but not a quilter so I'm jealous of your sewing abilities. Everything is gorgeous!
I really think the Wren fabric suits the pattern better. More "autumny". Wow! You sure do have a lot of large and beautiful WIP's. Cannot wait to see them finished. Your Ferris Wheel quilt is very springy and the pattern looks difficult as I don't do curves very well. I also do not understand how people cope without hobbies. I would be lost without my stitching and other hobbies. There is not enough time to do all the things I want to do. Have a great time stitching!
Your WIPS are beautiful and so is your quilt!!! I also like to stitch on 36 Ct 1 over 2 and like how my pieces look too!!! Happy stitching and quilting, Lynn
Once again I enjoyed watching and listening to your news on current works and works in the future. Your Queen of Freedom is truly a beauty!!! And Autumn on Lazy Bear Mountain is beautiful and I do like the Wren fabric. Your sweet and kind delivery along with your talent in stitching is truly an encouragement to delve into more challenging designs. Thank you again for sharing all of your creative projects - Deana Oh and I would love to see you demonstrate your stitch in hand method!!!
Thank you for the video! Love your stitching. The quilt book with the blocks has Marsha McCloskey’s name on it. I was able to take a class from her years ago when I started quilting. She is an amazing teacher. Have fun quilting and stitching. I too am so thankful for my hobbies.
I love your channel.... I formerly was a quilter, but since I have so many quilts, I switched to stitching. It is so much better to be up with my husband stitching than down in my quilt studio when he is watching TV, although since the virus, there is not much on TV. NO SPORTS! Would love to see you do Stitching In Hand..... Would love to be able to do it without a hoop! xxx Maryann
I have Queen of Freedom in my stash. My hubby purchased it for me after seeing it on Olivia's video. Yours is lovely and I really like your fabric choice. I had been undecided what fabric to use for her but now I know. I enjoy your videos so much....we have similar tastes and I quilt also. The quilt behind you is absolutely beautiful. Thanks for making great videos.
It's good to see you again!!! Love all your stitching projects. You are a busy girl! Like all your Autumn and Halloween selections. Fairly new stitcher, so small projects for me these days. Keep up all the wonderful projects. Love your quilt. That had to end here as my machines were scheduled for repair when the "shelter in place" was issued. Hopefully, can be repaired soon. Pat @crafty paw
Hi from North Dallas! So I must be yours & Olivias older sister! Everything you are working on except the Stacy Nash I am either already stitching or have kited up, I even just finished “the beast”! The Friends piece is so pretty and what a special gift! Happy Stitching!
All of your work is just beautiful. During this time I have spent a lot of time in front of machine, made over 500 masks now. I want to start stitching mini pillows that Lori Holt has, love her, but have to wait until all this is over and we get back to some sense of normalcy and can financially justify buying the kits. Would love doing the sew along that LH will be doung as well. Wishing you and your family JOY from Northern California.
I love love love your videos. Your projects are so beautiful and you've totally enabled me, I'm putting autumn on bear mountain on my list. Thank you for sharing your pieces and your lovely self with us. Happy stitching margie
Nice to see you again and to meet your dog....he appears to be such a smart little guy. You chose such beautiful projects to do and your work is lovely. I am hoping to obtain a scrap of linen sometime to try; as I am an aida stitcher and have cataracts that challenge my vision. I prefer the wren fabric over the ale. You certainly made some wonderful purchases and should stay busy for a while. The Ferris Wheel quilt is really nice. Stay well.
Great video Kristie! Love what you’ve been working on. Love your Quilt you’ve been working on too. You’re such a great inspiration to me. Miss you! Take care! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for sharing so much each video. You are so right about having our crafting! I am a knitter and recently returned to cross stitch and feel so blessed to have my hands always busy at this stressful time. I have ordered some supplies to try my hand at english paper piecing! I would love to see how you stitch in hand. I am trying to teach myself that method and I think I will enjoy. Again, my sincerest thanks Kristie.
We love Gustopher! Oh my goodness! He is ADORABLE 🥰 Thank you so so much for sharing him with us. Because of your videos, I have convinced my husband to agree to start searching for our own little French bulldog 🥳 We have an English bulldog named Cooper and an 8 yo little boy who will totally enjoy playing with him. I think we will name him Henry. Can’t wait!
Our neighbor had a drive by birthday party for their daughter and it was so fun. I am going to look at the NPI White thread, seems like it provides great coverage. Live the Tomato Dame and other projects and finishes you did. Your Queen of Freedom is gorgeous. I like the Wren for your beast and definitely curious about your stitching in hand.
Every craft your hands touch is absolutely stunning, Kristie!! Your taste and mine are the same as well. I am always amazed of how many projects you are able to finish in such a short amount of time!! I’m a slow stitcher apparently 😆. I would love to see a demonstration of stitching in hand ( and any other tips or tricks you could offer to help speed me up would be helpful). Lol !!
My goal for stitch Maynia is to finish Christmas at Hollyberry. That house has been my stitch for whenever I would get together to stitch with friends, so great to look at it and think about -- I stitched on it first time at a retreat, first time I ever stitched at my LNS, new friends I have made, first zoom call ... on track to finish next week. Thinking about Stables at Hollyberry next. Love your videos, we many projects in common
Wren for sure, would be my choice for your new Kathy Barrick SAL you are starting! Ale is great, but really needs just the right colors to bring the design out. Wren is a great neutral that will always be a great medium for most any design! JMO!! Love your projects and flosstubes so much!
Seeing Gus just made my day. Nothing like a Frenchie! I have been playing around with stitching in hand but just cannot seem to nail it. There are so many prolific stitchers that do it. I have watched different videos of people showing how, but what every video seems to lack is how they handle moving different directions. All it seems people show is just the basic sewing method. That’s easy enough for me to figure out but it’s the tips and tricks of moving in different directions. If you could share that I would really appreciate that. I love the idea of how easy the stitching is to pick up when you stitch in hand. Also would you share how you handle specialty stitches such as satin, eyelet, and any others you can think of you do. Am I making any sense? 😆 Ugh you make me want to start all the things!!
Yes, please!!!! Demo for stitching in hand on the linen fabrics. 😬 I’m encouraged that you stitch such large samplers in hand. I ready to try one and have 40 count fabric purchased for it. 🥴 🤞🏻
I'm team wren. PS - I drank the cool-aid and bought the pledge of allegiance fabric for Queen of Freedom. I don't know when I'll have time to stitch it but I MUST have it after seeing yours!
I enjoyed your video! Your patterns with your stitching is amazing. You and I differ in cross stitch taste but your quilts are spot on! I stitch in hand and do one stitch at a time. Looking forward to seeing you again! Thanks! 🧵
I love your stitching and color ways. I like the Wren fabric. Yes please post a video of you stitching in hand. Also could you show how you start and finish with each color of floss?
Your videos just make my day!!! I put you on pause and ordered the Block Party book! At this point I am a very beginner quilter...actually a quilter collector I should say! I would love for you to make a video on beginning quilting...just the basics...that would be fantastic!!!! Hugs
I’m just having such a wonderful time binge watching your videos, you have such a kind hearted way about you, I am so happy I found you. God bless you dear one! 💚
You and Olivia are so inspiring to me! Even though I'm old enough to be your mother you are both so accomplished in your quilting & give me hope as I learn this new skill. Love watching you both & when you reference each other I feel very "neighborly"- like you live on one side of my house & Olivia on the other, and since I live in Idaho it really is like I'm in the middle 😊. I think the 3 of us could get together & stitch & quilt & laugh all day long. ❤
You are such a beautiful and talented artist. You’re so lady like. That’s probably an old fashioned term, but hey, I’m old fashioned!! Your stitching is gorgeous and the Ferris Wheel quilt is to die for!!! Have a wonderful weekend!!!
Sara Brunsvold Oh my goodness, thank you so much!!! That means more than you know! My mom was very ladylike and tried to instill that quality. I hope your doing well and getting lots of stitching time!! Hugs!
I've binge watched all of your videos in the last few days, and just have to say that you are an absolutely beautiful stitcher! All of your pieces are just gorgeous. Your linen choices are always so beautiful, and the style of pieces you stitch is exactly what appeals to me! And as a quilter myself, I love to see other stitchers on Flosstube who also share their quilting! Absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful stitching with us.
I thought wren looked beautiful. Thank you for sharing your talent with us! I agree -- what do people who have no hobbies do??? Stitching keeps me sane. I spend too much and frog more than I actually stitch, but I love it. My mom was a hand-quilter, and my family treasures her quilts. I've tried it, but my accomplishments weren't much to brag on. I would love to be multi-talented like you!
I love all your projects Kristie! Seeing your quilts each video makes me want to learn to quilt. For Autumm on Lazy Bear Mountain I prefer the Wren fabric choice, but it will be beautiful no matter which one you choose.
Thank you so much my friend!! I wish we lived close to each other, I would love to teach you to quilt! Thanks for the vote, I think Wren is the winner!! Happy stitching!
Loved seeing you again Kristie😊 Love all the projects your working on and your “Consider The Lillies is gorgeous but I think I will like you said stitch mine in DMC. I love over dyed threads but the projects I’ve seen look so vibrant with the DMC colors. I kit most of my HATS charts with DMC too. They are just as lovely☺️ Lazy Bear Mountain is gorgeous on the Ale! I never thought I would love the darker fabrics but I’m in love with them. They are both beautiful so you need to be comfortable with your choice😉 I use one thread on 32 count sometimes. I did that on my Martha Pudsey and it’s beautiful. It’s all what someone prefers😀 Your quilt is a beautiful piece! I will one day make one for my bed but I’m a new quilter and still learning🙃 Take care of yourself!
Great video, LOVED seeing your buddy do his tricks!! Yes, aren't we fortunate to have something outside and calming to do and share right now? Thanks for a wonderful time of sharing!
I am always so happy when you upload another video. I love all the stitching and quilting and I agree I don't know what people do to occupy their time without crafts. I prefer the Elle fabric but I like primitive looking fabric. You have so tempted me with the "beast" but have never done one that size ha ha. Take care and hurry back with another video. Best of luck to Hailey with end of course tests.
So nice to see you on floss tube again. I enjoy your calm demeanor and your work, which is beautiful and inspiring. Thanks so much for sharing yourself with us all.
Hi Kristie, such a joy and inspiration to see all your beautiful projects and amazing quilts. Yes please for a tutorial on how you stitch in hand. I’m a newbie and at the moment I am trying to learn how to stitch in hand. I would love to learn from you. Have a blessed weekend. Warmly xx
As always your video is absolutely wonderful! You inspire me to stitch faster when you show all of your great projects! I, too, wonder what my none stitching friends are doing during this stay at home time. Already looking forward to seeing your next one! Happy Stitching! 😊
I loved starting the video with Gus. What a sweet boy! Your "Away We Ride" is fabulous! Now I want to kit that up. I also want to start the Anniversaries blocks but I am so behind now. I think you need to go with the Wren on The Beast Sampler although Ale is probably my favorite PTP linen. I have Jane Cowey and Isabella Johnstone on my cutting table now. (you made me get them out). If you ever get ready to start those I may have to follow. Love all your projects. Keep up with the three strands of thread a day and all those quilts will be finished. Hugs to you and Gus!
YAY, a new floss tube from Krisite! You really are a prolific stitcher! I would love to see your tutorial! That quilt -- it's amazing!! I have been spending a lot of my social distancing time working on old quilt wips. Your QOF is amazing -- I've loved seeing you and Olivia as you progress thru this amazing stitch. Blessings from Nebraska!
I have the Bear Mountain chart and fabric for it. I don't think I've pulled floss and will have to check out Jen's conversion. However, I have so many things in progress right now, 5 new starts just for Maynia, that I'm reluctant to do the SAL with you. That said, I am a pretty bad serial starter so, who knows!!! I have 3 reproduction samplers that I'm rotating each month this year and Alice Smith is one of them. I love it, but she is a big girl and there are more color changes in the border than I realized, so (for me anyway), it's slower going than I anticipated. Not being a fast stitcher anyway, that's been frustrating. But she is beautiful and I will keep working on her until the end! Thank you for your videos!
Gus is the cutest pup, thanks for sharing him! 😄 Your videos are very inspiring and I’m glad I found you. I would love to join your Beast SAL, I’m still trying to decide on linen, too. I would LOVE to see how you stitch in hand, I’ve been trying it and could really use a visual aid.
Kristie, I’m always happy when I get a notification of a new video from you! Thank you for sharing your lovely work. I would love to see a video of how you stitch in hand. Stay well. Marsha from Missouri.
Great WIPs. I’m with you on the 46. I can’t stitch with a big magnifier very long. That birder on the sheep sampler is something lol whew. I’m like you between cross stitching crocheting knitting I don’t have time to dwell lol. Your quilts lovely. Thanks for sharing
Queen of Freedom is so beautiful, I just love it. Everything you do is so precise and pretty. I like the fabric Wren for The Beast. Your Ferris Wheel quilt is amazing, wow. Love your videos!
Hi Kristie! Love your videos! Where do you get your supplies for cross stitch? Will you be selling more of your project bags? Love your patriotic project bag. Is it possible to order one?
Thank you!! I get most of my supplies from kittenstitcher, 123stitch and Etsy sellers. I don’t have a local LNS. I post my bags when available at @crosshatchquilts_destash. I’ll be listing some next week. Happy stitching!
Lots of lovely stitching. I am working on a gift for my sister at the moment and am very close to a finish so looking forward to a new start. I also quilt and have bought lots of fabric. Like you my stitching and sewing helps me to keep going. Thank you for sharing all your projects and helping us to stay motivated. Take care and stay safe.
Love this video...and when you pulled out the Fig Tree kit, I screamed. Mine arrived this week and I’m moving it up my list! Then you pulled out the LORi Holt book...it came this week too! I sew as much as I stitch, and I’m apparently a slow stitcher, and starting the Holly Berry series soon. Seeing yours really keeps me excited about them. I like your wren choice btw. I probably wouldn’t stitch that beast...it’s gorgeous, but I’m not that brave. I’ll love watching your progress! Gus is adorable. Looking for ward to your stitch in hand video...interesting to see how we all have our own way of enjoying our handwork. Take care. Lynn in Indiana
Love your videos I think your work is stunning.... yes I would love a video showing how to stitch on hand I am newer to cross stitch and it seems take for ever on a hoop... love the quilts ... I started quilting and making bags to sell on Etsy it def is an art to try make things look good.. but I’m determined to do good because crafting and creating is a love of mine .keep the videos coming !!!! Your such a breath of fresh air on RUclips 😍...God bless
You have such beautiful stitching and quilts. I Love quilts I don’t quilt because I hate to sew(jr. High sewing teacher fault) so I adore seeing quilts..you really have such a. Calming voice it’s nice to listen to in such trying times.I’m a little north of you I think in Utah. Take care and stay safe.
You are always so inspiring! I've had The Beast in my stash so am thinking of joining your SAL! Its a perfect excuse to start something, right?!! You are going to love stitching Nevermore and the Halloween Quaker. They are just so much nicer stitched up than showing in the pictures, especially Nevermore. I had both of them framed at Michaels and they were quite reasonable. Currently I'm stitching on Away We Ride and am hoping to have it finished and framed for October. You and Olivia have inspired me to pick up some quilting....maybe not such a good thing! So much to do, not enough time!
Gus is so cute and well trained! Love all your WIPs. I admire everyone that stitch samplers. They look so hard. I don't know that I would ever try one because I don't think I could stitch on that small count linen...old eyes! 😂 It is so fun watching both you and Olivia talk about your projects. Love Lady Liberty. She's gorgeous! Look forward to your videos. Love both the stitching and the quilts. I was just looking at the Lori Holt Cottage Quilt book last night. So many things to stitch, so little time!
I was so happy to see a new video from you. I love everything you’ve been working on. I’ve avoided project bag addiction until I saw your bags, so now you are in my radar! Be well, and stay happy!❤️
Kristie..... you are amazing!! Love all of your projects and all of your finishes. Oh that quilt!!!!!! 😳😳😘😘😘
Juli, you’re the best!! You always make my day when you stop by and say hello!! Miss you my friend!
I love all of your stitching!!!! Haley is doing wonderful too! Your log cabin quilts are so beautiful 🤩!!! I love ❤️ them. Thank you for sharing!!!
I always enjoy my time with you and your stitches. You are a wonderful stitcher.
Hi cute friend! Thanks for stopping by and spending some time with me! Happy stitching!
Your choice of fabric on your projects is always top knotch! Love watching all your lovelies and boy do we have the same tastes when it comes to samplers. ♥️

I adore all of your stitching but Gus has stolen my heart, thanks so much for sharing him with us he’s so sweet!
Such a beautiful quilt Kristie, it does look like summer to me also. Your projects are lovely. I think the Wren fabric looks best. Happy Stitching

Thanks for sharing! Your work is beautiful!💕 be well!
Great video, LOVED seeing your buddy do his tricks!! Yes, aren't we fortunate to have something outside and calming to do and share right now? Thanks for a wonderful time of sharing!
Your stitching is beautiful! That quilt is stunning! Give Gus a big smooch from me!
Thank you my friend!! Gus sends a kiss right back 👅
I am always so happy when you upload another video.
Beautiful stitching! Queen of Freedom gorgeous. Love the quilt. Thank you for wonderful video.
Gus is absolutely adorable!!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!!
Beautiful stitched projects and wips. Love the quilt too. Happy stitching!
Thank goodness for cross stitch during this strange time! Your floss tube is like a little vacation!
What a fun video! Loved all your projects and what a beautiful quilt! Yes please, show us how you stitch on hand. I do finish my crosses too! :-)
Your quilts are amazing!
It’s obvious that you are such a lovely person & maker as it shines through your videos. I adore your project bags that you have made too ❤️❤️❤️
Gus is the cutest pup, thanks for sharing him! 😄 Your videos are very inspiring and I’m glad I found you. I would love to join your Beast SAL, I’m still trying to decide on linen, too. I would LOVE to see how you stitch in hand, I’ve been trying it and could really use a visual aid.
Your work is so beautiful, thank you for sharing! And thank you for the info on the bird wing on the Away We Ride chart. I would not have caught that!
Kristie, I’m always happy when I get a notification of a new video from you! Thank you for sharing your lovely work.
I would love to see a video of how you stitch in hand. Stay well. Marsha from Missouri.
Thank you so much you made my day!
I love when you do a video. All your projects are just wonderful. Great haul too!!
Great to see you!! I love all the fall/Halloween patterns! Your Lady Liberty is gorgeous. Happy stitching!
Thank you Wanda!
I love your videos ! Everything you do is gorgeous!,
Congratulations on the finish. I’m new to the stitchy fun
Enjoyed your video and love all your wips stunning. Have a great weekend and happy stitching 😊💖
I just love all your stitching and quilting projects. Definitely prefer the Wren for the Bear Mountain piece. Thanks for another great video!
Thank you so much! I love your videos too, you get so much done!! Happy stitching my friend!
I love seeing what you're up to. That quilt!!!
Yes, to the stitch in hand tutorial! Love your stitching! Thank you❤️
Love your videos! Your quilts are beautiful! It’s been a few years since I’ve quilted. I may need to again!
Thank you friend!!! Yes, you better get making a quilt!!! Send me pics of you do! Have a great weekend!
You totally made my day with your kind comments! Thank you so much! Happy stitching!
Where in Utah?
Crosshatch Quilts I’m up in Hooper west of Ogden/Riverdale area.
MaryJo Mouldimg you’re not that far from me!!! I’m in Vernal
@@crosshatchquilts oh fun Dinosaurland 🥰
You are always so inspiring! I've had The Beast in my stash so am thinking of joining your SAL! Its a perfect excuse to start something, right?!! You are going to love stitching Nevermore and the Halloween Quaker. They are just so much nicer stitched up than showing in the pictures, especially Nevermore. I had both of them framed at Michaels and they were quite reasonable. Currently I'm stitching on Away We Ride and am hoping to have it finished and framed for October. You and Olivia have inspired me to pick up some quilting....maybe not such a good thing! So much to do, not enough time!
Yes, please do a stitch in hand tutorial! You are a phenomenal stitcher and do such beautiful work!
Thank you so much!!!! Happy stitching!
