So, I’m sitting at the piano 🎹 practicing the minor blues scale and what should pop into my head? This song 🎵 Walk On Boy
    🎶 transcends time and space

Doc is way better than Billy and always will be.
Doc was a good Christian man and led a lot of people to the Lord. Billy just wants people to party and works for the Illuminati.
Now you’ve found the real, true thing, by real appalachians. Congratulations

You can easily see why Doc Watson and Mississippi John Hurt got along so well.

Doc was at his best when delivering a bluesy song. Nobody could do it like old Doc.

Wonderful version of a Mel Tillis, Wayne Walker written song, written in late 59 or 60 while Mel Tillis was a writer for Webb Pierce's publishing company Cedarwood Music. Mel has a early recording of the song.

Pretty sure the Black Lightning was a race bike, I think the fastest you could buy in ‘52…and for many years held speed records.

    I was born one mornin'
    The rain a-pourin' down
Heard my mammy say to my pappy
"Let's call him John Henry Brown"
    [Chorus]
    Walk on, boy
    Walk on down the road
Ain't nobody in this whole wide world
A-gonna help you carry your load
    [Verse 2]
I left my mammy and pappy
At just about the age of ten
Lord, I got me a job a-workin' on the levee
Totin' water for the hard workin' men
    [Chorus]
    Walk on, boy
    Walk on down the road
Ain't nobody in this whole wide world
A-gonna help you carry your load
    [Verse 3]
One day my pappy told me
"Some advice I wanna give to you
Son, find a good woman, be good to her
An' she's gonna be good to you"
    [Chorus]
    Walk on, boy
    Walk on down the road
Ain't nobody in this whole wide world
A-gonna help you carry your load
    [Verse 4]
If anyone should ever ask you
"Just who is that fella Brown?"
You can tell him I'm the boy that lеft his hammer smokin'
Where hе beat that steam drill down
    [Chorus]
    Walk on, boy
    Walk on down the road
Ain't nobody in this whole wide world
A-gonna help you carry your load
    [Outro]
Walk on, boy, walk on, boy
    Walk on, boy
