- The most successful Gusii record label from early 80s were UPENDO Vinyl albums. Most gusii Benga artists produced their music under the Upendo label. however there were many other labels which did well too! in this beautiful album,John Sitora is simply thanking his parents for teaching him good moral virtues on how to leave well with other people in our society. Like father, like son.
.
Almost all NYAMWARI BAND records were produced their under UPENDO MWAOGUSII record labels.
John sitora was agood teacher through music! just listen to the message in this track here and you will agree with me that Nyamwari band was on another level back in those days.

if someone asks you what benga means, send him this link. superb classic benga beat with excellent arrangments!
@meshack. You are absolutely right. personally i have listened to this track severally but i never get enough of it. it ranks among the super Benga class category.
these guys used to take their time to compose lyrics and accord them appropriate guitars, customized for the lyrics the way a tailor fits your cloths by your own measurements --measurements unique only to you--no other person fits those cloths. In that same way, the climax rhythms and bass fitted perfectly on those songs, same way the solo guitar runs fitted perfectly on the lyrics! Unlike our times, these 1970s artists were driven by passion, not money
This music makes me think of late uncle Benjamin onyango. Mogunde. He liked it and showed his presence at home from kisii tax.Waaaaa!!!!!!
