Perseverance’s Backstory:
Perseverance lived in a household of Atheists and Scientists, always surrounded by technology. However Perseverance’s family never payed much attention to them because of their work. One of their family’s projects came up, it was about studying the Monsters, but since there were only stories and no actual evidence of the Monsters on the surface, they didn’t have much to work with. Perseverance’s life long dream was to make his parents proud of them, and since he heard about the project he decided to climb the mountain and get the information their family needed. Sadly, he was not able to bring the information he got back to his family, as the Captain of the Royal Guard killed them.
Fun Fact:
In my AU, Perseverance was the one who gave Undyne her scar. Whilst running away from Undyne getting spears thrown at them, he grabbed one of the spears and threw it back at Undyne, which resulted in spearing her in her eye causing it to go blind. Perseverance calling out to Undyne, “I’M REALLY SORRY!” shortly after and running away. Once they encountered again, that is when Undyne successfully killed Perseverance.
