    Best video to date .. getting right to the point of cause for these tragic LG linear compressor failures.

    Thank you so much for this video. Do you know what the normal amp range is for the universal compressor (FLS075LANA) ? What are the normal high and low side pressures for this compressor as well?

    the sticker inside my lg says 140psi for low side~ but on my piercing tap I only see 40psi on the gauge which seems to be more average from what I'm reading. what's this about?

    Is it possible for the upper Evaporator to be working probably but the lower evaporator isn't doing anything at all could be bad compressor

    • @kenallen9470
      @kenallen9470 4 года назад

      There is no upper evap there is only one evap and its in freezer and uses a damper to allow cold air from freezer into fridge when there is a call for cooling in fridge.

      Compressor is good, it's running damper is open all fans running cooling is good issue is leaking charge

      My LG actually does have 2 evaps. 1 for freezer and 1 for fridge. It's a fancier piece of crap that uses a 2 way solenoid and lots of sensors . Since there's a drawer you can set to a different temp than main storage, I bet there's also a couple of dampeners as well because you can set that drawer to colder or warmer than the main.

    Wow I notice your customers don’t stand over your shoulder and ask a million questions like mine do

    what should be normal operating temperatures of compressor, condencer coil, discharge and suction lines? Can you diagnose only with thermometer?

    Hey J I just replaced a LG Compressor and new one was showing low side over 50 psi and high side 5psi the temp on discharge side cold. You think was a bad compressor? When I was charging with Freon the compressor turn off.

    Hey love ur videos, can you tell me do LG French Door fridges single freezer have yoder loops and if so where are they located and any idea if I can by pass them

    • @ApplianceRep
      @ApplianceRep  4 года назад

      Ken Allen on the top mount refrigerator the Yoder loop runs along the front but to bypass it will cause moisture buildup in the front cabinet but will still function
      I never bypassed them but anything is possible

      @@ApplianceRep thanks appreciate the help, the evap is in the bottom freezer, not in the top. There's only one Evap in bottom freezer with damper for fridge. Not sure if that style is the same for yoder loop?

      @@ApplianceRep I can't find any info online of the way this thing is piped and I just want to find the leak lol I work on commercial never residential. Do you know is the yoder loop part of drain pain heater and its just using discharge gas? Id love to know how this thing is piped lol

    • @ApplianceRep
      @ApplianceRep  4 года назад

      Ken Allen as soon as it leaves the outlet of the condenser it goes to the Yoder loop and then comes into the filter drier there the steel lines coming out the back of the unit you’ll see them inlet then . Outlet to drier

    • @kenallen9470
      @kenallen9470 4 года назад

      @@ApplianceRep ok cool so it is the steal lines then thats the yoder loop? Looks like it's part of the drain pan heater as it runs under condenser
