I’m late watching this one. I have 2 of these. They work well. Very much overkill….. but I was concerned with having power issues in overcast or lower light situations, I’ve never seen the panels come off 100% in the regardless of the conditions … Theuve been out a little over a month. At the end of the day …. I may not run these on ever camera every time like you mentioned …..currently mine are in food plots so sure I’ll keep them there.
Have you found what the best combo for cell cam and solar panel is for best battery life yet? **** SP-18 + Reveal Pro?*** Blackgate + Reveal? Thanks for the review.
I bought 3 last year. Just bought 2 more. I installed batteries in my Tactacam cameras to see how much it they used. After a complete season and 6 months of high res pictures and video, my batteries were still fully charged when I removed my cameras.
Well yes these panels are strong enough you don’t even need batteries in your cams I have 3 cameras out that have been out for over a year with no batteries with no issues
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA it was an experiment. I used an external battery box on 1 and the camera batteries ended up taking over after the external battery ran down. They are great solar panels.
hi looks nice - can you run a raspberry pi Raspberry Pi Zero W with it? The power input to the Pi Zero is 5V - what i need to make it work with the herd360?
@matt21945 spoiler alert they are awesome! Ahahah This is the link I bought them as Amazon has the same package but much faster shipping amzn.to/3KWdQRb
It more or less works with any camera on the market wether a Spartan 6v or 12v like most others. It comes with the cables to fit all of the cameras. Moultire uses 5.5x2.1mm
Well it may be but it’s a bit excessive for most of my cell cam setups, with that said I’m very happy to put two out for testing it would work perfect for a food plot year round camera

That’s my thinking as well, perfect for that application or somewhere you plan on running a cam year round etc
What is the coldest it can operate at? Tactacam is -4 degrees.
Mike from Herd 360 is a great guy! I get all of my cell cam stuff from him.
I’ve been looking at all the other things they sell, may be buying some other stuff to test

I have no clue what that is but I’d assume you’d just need the right cord to run it
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSAthanks for quick reply - ok looks like the herd360 has 5V output too right?
I’d have to look again I think it has 6v & 12v but you could just check on Google and make sure
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA i see the herd360 has 5V too - i assume you can use a usbc...
Yessir everything you’d need to know about it would be on the herd 360 website
I need one for bushnell cellucore 2 pin into the camera?
Then get one, link is in the description!
Any update? I scrolled through your videos and didn't see any update video on how these turned out?
Going to film this weekend or next been testing them, I don’t film reviews until I have enough data to have a good performance based opinion on it
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA awesome in excited to see how it turned out with them

Will this work with moltree edge
I would assume so but I’m not sure I don’t own one check what cables it takes then check the ones that come with this

Hey, have you tested how well the spypoint panel can hide itself from animals yet? I would love to know the result
We haven’t and don’t have plans to test the spypoint panel out at this time
The deer did not notice.
They pick em out but I don’t think they bother them
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA Install them high out of the line of sight. Unless you use a post.
Awesome video
Thanks man!
