Der Lobe Block in Berlin ist ein radikales Experiment und vereint das Wohnen und Arbeiten auf neue Weise. Das Projekt war im Finale des „Mies van der Rohe Award 2019“.
Die Ausstellung zum „Mies van der Rohe Award 2019“, vom 22.10. - 20.11.2020 im LVR-Landeshaus in Köln - eine Kooperation von Creative Europe, Mies van der Rohe Fundació Barcelona, Baukultur Nordrhein-Westfalen, Landschaftsverband Rheinland und Deutschem Architekturmuseum.

Yeah they totally blew the concept of multi functionality and heterogeneity with increasing rents and forcing culture like Baldon out of the place. Unluckily the initial idea of this building, thanks to the landlord Olivia Reynolds, completely died and it's just another overexpansive residential building adding to the gentrification of Berlin. Good architectural motives can't stand landlords and real estate companies enslaved by capitalism, the change in building is not an architectual but a social problem.
