Had trouble with these long Clefts so I ordered some 3/16 by 3/32 Walnut Strips belved two edges and glued together to give a nice straight Cleft

      Hi Jerry,
All you really need is a good sharp hobby knife, mini saw, a few mini clamps, glues and sandpaper.
I have aquired my tools over many, many years of model building so some may be hard to find. The brass clamps are a japanses mini brass bar clamp. Searching Amazon might bring them up. Just search Amazon for other tools you might like.

Hi Ahmet, The instructions don't really state the exact colour so I mixed Tamiya acrylic white and yellow together until it closely matched the full size plans from the kit

Hi. Thanks so much for your videos. It’s a great help. The clefts you are cutting, are they just for looks or do they serve a purpurse ?

Hi MrPede and thanks for your kind words. All of what I do would be for a certain scaled realism look or a joinery purpose. The clefts were detailed in the instructions.

    Hey Chris,
Do you use the natural Danish oil, or a tinted one? And where did you get the small dispenser tip plastic bottles for the oil? Excellent build journal!

Hi gravelcords. I mainly use Cabot's Clear Danish Oil from Bunnings here in AUS. Any danish oil should be ok. The small plastic dispensers were an Amazon purchase.

Quality skills Chris. What type of video camera did you use to film the videos of the build?

Hi Gary and thank you for the kind words. I use one old iPhone 8 and an iPhone 11 as the main video source. Lighting is from 6 led down lights situated at various angles around the work area.
