How the hell does anyone come up with the idea of turning this poem (ruclips.net/video/c3IS5Cj_l7w/видео.html) into a song? Crystal Castles was so innovative.
why ulysses ? was crystal castles a fan of cream ? ie "tales of brave ulysses" and found some obscure poetry ? who knows. it does encourage inspiration to possibly use older poets' & artists' work to transform it unto something semi original or more well known. makes me think you could use some centuries old persian poem or any old language. translate it and and do an english voice over. slap it all together and you got yourself some golden tunage or sections to work with to make a song 🤌
