I'm not sure what gaurd system your using, but the easiest way to fade is to start with you clipper fully closed for the balding. right under that, come through with the trimmer and flick out. this will eliminate dealing with erasing the bald line because you start the cut with it already erased. from there, move straight to the 1/2 guard. after that, take your clipper open and flick right under that 1/2 guard. the reason for this, is to eliminate dealing with erasing the line in between the clipper open and your 1 guard. erasing the bald line and erasing the line made with your clipper open seems to be what beginners have a hardest time with. when I started cutting hair, it was a problem for me too. detailing is something that is hard to teach. the best way to understand detailing is to fade. after you take care of your fair share of fades, you'll start to have a better eye of where in the fade work is needed and which guard, if at all, is needed for the area that needs work. hope this helps.
Warrior Will I get that way too. I think better lighting helps a lot and I started to just blend one guideline at a time. I won’t go up a guard until everything below is really blended first

Im on edge between buying clippers and trimmers. The clippers I narrowed it down to are 1. Cordless masters 2. Babyliss cordless fx 3. Wahl cordless seniors and the trimmers are 1. Cordless t outliner 2. Babyliss gold fx 3. Slimline pros... i got a good feel for andis and wahl just never had a chance to try out the babyliss joints... any recommendations? A comparison vid between the 3 would be dope as well... much respect keep killin it bro ✊🏽

And lately I have been getting people asking me to se picture of my work after I show them very proudly they have a weird look and never ask for my number, next time I see them they have just the most horrible cut I have ever seen. Do you maybe have any idea why?? I mean my cuts ain't as fresh as yours but the still fresh enough to others cause they been coming for 8 years now.
Why shave it when you can buy minoxidil or beard oil and slap your own label on it and flip it for profit more then the price of a shave. All you got to do is upsell & allot of the time the client knows they have a patchy beard but don't know or to shy to ask. I know this is an educational video & the client knows what they want but this barber license can do more than just cut hair and client relations is what keeps you booked. This is more for all the comments talking about shaving the beard or spraying enhancements but that only adds a few dollars more why not add another $20+ for a product that'll actually benefit beard growth. Idk what yall think?

I struggle with getting lost in the blend because when you start taking away hair it’s hard to see a guide line. I lose my place.
Warrior Will do one guide line at a time around the whole head. Until your comfortable you shouldn’t do one half then the other
