I’m re-visiting this tune. I’m polishing it up, your videos are so helpful, your an irish music teacher angel! What tune do you like to put before or after this ? I was thinking of The ships are sailing .. then hunters purse. What do you think? Thanks again for your tutorial. 😊
Sure--I like Ships and then Hunter's. Two minor tunes together. Another different idea would be to try going into a D Major tune. Since Hunter's Purse ends on an A.... you could go into something like Michael Creamer's, or Sunny Banks, or Jackie Coleman's. They all START on an A.
Maybe you could clap the tune in rhythm? Or whistle? Even if it's a little off key, just getting the rhythm and the shape of the tune off the instrument might be empowering!
