I just got my first drone and will be visiting Den Haag in about 2 weeks and have been checking different flight maps to make sure I won’t be flying illegally and all of the maps I’ve checked say I can’t fly here :( did you get a special permit before the flight or am I doing something wrong? Would love some advice thank you :)
Thank you! The Hague City center is maybe a no fly zone (I didnt fly there), but at the beach you can definitely "start" your DJI drone. It also depends on what drone you have and how much it weights: www.government.nl/topics/drone/rules-pertaining-to-recreational-use-of-drones
@@DraufsichtDrone thank you for the reply okay so I am aloud to fly on the beach and what about the scheveningen pier? According to the dji app I could fly there but according to other apps that is a no fly zone as well. I have the dji mini 3 pro so under 250g. Thank you :)
@@robertcvsh I think with an under 250g drone you are quite "safe", in most countries that is more considered a "toy". But I am not from Netherlands, I was just there as a tourist. They also change the rules time by time. If you want to be really on the "safe" side, you would need contact the authorities (DGCA) what applies on your visiting dates and for your drone: uavcoach.com/drone-laws-in-netherlands/
