Such an underrated game. 2016 is even better than 2017 in my opinion. I just did a race in F1 2016 career mode a few hours ago, what a game it was, the AI was so aggressive. Definitely one of my favorite F1 games.
My game must be broken then. I remember the AI in race mode being passive and slow, and that was on Master difficulty. In qualifying however, my god were they quick

F1 2016 I swear has some pretty damn broken gameplay. The slipstreams are insane, if you pick one of the top teams, you stay at the top forever because I swear the upgrade system is broken (It was for me, my Red Bull became like 200 times more powerful than anyone else in just the first season using the damn Renault engine) and it was before all the engine wear and gearbox wear came in in F1 2017 and fixed the tyre issues and general problems with F1 2015. I love this game but my god does it manage to amaze me sometimes with the things you can do
387 kph is about 240.5 mph I once came just short of reaching 400 kph in the 2014 Force India on F1 2015 at Monza. If you go flat out backwards from the first Lesmo to Parabolica with a high top speed setup, you can reach insane speeds.
Also f1 2009 for the nintendo wii. When you were in the slipstream of another car you could reach nearly 400kph

not hard, if you with a setup made for top speed and have a maxed out out car you can get to nearly 360
