Been subscribed to Phil for a couple of years now. I first became aware of him on the mig welding forum. He was exceptionally supportive of me when I started RUclips. He is a genuinely good person and his skill level is first rate. It was great to see two of my favourite you tubers together. And great to see all of Phil's shop for the first time! Thanks Paul.
I really enjoy watching Phil's videos and he is a great supporter of my channel. We need to check out our Manchester Rapitor to see if that lifts on the return stroke. Thanks for doing such a great job promoting Phil's channel
I enjoyed watching you two chat. And wow - what a great shop!! Another interesting video as usual. That’s why I subscribed and look forward to watching. :-) Definitely checking out Phil’s channel as well.
Hi Paul, what to say: very interesting, we in Italy would say "the chest of dreams", not a workshop; I really don't know what's missing, in fact there are "double codes", i.e. 3 lathes (and a fantastic Colchester Student obviously) but still machines of perfect dimensions for garages, not for industrial warehouses which few, even here in Italy, can have !! Happy holidays Paul!! Ciao Paul!! Alberto
Thanks for introducing us to Phil. That chat on youtube and subscribers rang very true. I felt I could have easily joined in with that. Milk, no sugar in mine thanks. 😊
Hi mfs, I never asked and I put it down to freedom of expression. It has no bearing on his engineering skills - provided he does not get it caught. 😮 Cheers

Though I'm in the US, it does my heart good to see you fellows saving and taking pride in the old British iron.

Off to find Phil's channel and drop him a sub 🙂
Don't suppose you know which bike shop in Scarbados he got the lathe from?
In answer to your question ExMan, Phil reports the Covmac lathe came from Andrews motorcycle shop in Scarborough. Cheers
