Sindooracheppu is a Indian Malayalam film, directed by Madhu and produced by Yusufali Kecheri. The film stars Madhu, Jayabharathi, Prema and Sankaradi in the lead roles. The film had musical score by G. Devarajan. The movie won Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Film.
Sankaran Nair, an elephant trainer, is hired by a rich landlord, Namboodiri, to train his elephant, Gopi. One day, a soothsayer foretells Sankaran that Gopi will kill three people.
