In ten, twenty or a hundred years time (if humanity makes it that far), young people will discover your music for the first time again, so in some ways you'll never die. You played a big part in forming some important values that I still believe in today and I bet there's lots of people who can say the same.

Such a wonderful song. I wonder if he was thinking of his romance with Jane Wiedlin every time he sang this. I love his beautiful backup singer and drummer. Her gorgeous voice and harmonizing really adds to this.

After cutting my teeth on The Beatles, Free, Zeppelin etc in the late 60s/70's, I was in a permanently bad mood in the 80's. But there were still a few genuine originals. Terry Hall was one. I will miss him.

As a kid I never liked this version and loved the Go-Go's version, but at the ripe old age of 53, I now like this version better, both because of the tempo and the subtle lyric differences. Both versions are great, though.

True story. This song came on in a tiny gay club in downtown Buffalo before last call, 4am Christmas week early 1980s. My friend and I, me with a black cloak, spun around the dance floor smashing glasses.
