This. Brown had his flaws (Keon minutes an obvious one) but then again you never know if it had something to do with the FO too. Maybe just a rumor but I heard he was keeping Monk in the starting unit because word from above, though Monk is beyond needed off the bench (KEON Fox backcourt was so good defensively!)
Fox always talked so highly of coach too, from day 1 and never did he waver in that. He was glad they finally got a coach that tried to hold them accountable. Shame. Thought we finally turned the corner out of Kangzland

Coaching and front office can be like parents going though a divorce . Denver has the same problem. Again the CBA needs to associate pay with wins. My team has gone through so many head coaches in the last decade. Seeing the kings go through a similar issue as mine is just sad. There is some blame on coaching, but it's unfortunate that when front offices make stupid moves that a coach being fired is really a smoke screen. I don't really watch the kings, but they needed just better roster management. The team is like all offense and nothing else. The kings should have looked at the Knicks. Thibs came in just like brown and took a team that had been awful for years to the playoffs, and won coach of the year. The next season the Knicks weren’t even a play in team. But they didn’t scapegoat thibs, they recognized the problem was the roster, they went out and got Jalen Brunson. If you want to stop being a losing team you’ve got to stop acting like a losing organization

This roster is deep and has all star and all nba talent. There net rating and offensive/defensive ratings are good. Their problem is just spacing

The NBA is so funny. If only it were as easy to get rid of an under-performing front office as it is to get rid of a coach that probably wasn't even the issue.

Kings fan. Damned if you do, damned if you dont. Anyone watching the team could see Brown had lost the team. Any losing team its always everyone's fault: players, coaches, front office.

As a kings fan I’m devastated about this season. The game against the pistons was truly an eye opener. I had so much hope for the beam team after we broke the playoff drought but we have been so disappointing since then. Mike brown was my guy but he didn’t make the needed rotations this year. Maybe the kings are just doomed to internal mediocrity

I love Fox. He’s a great person and player. What he is not great at is leading a team and creating opportunities for teammates on the court. He’s not a great passer/facilitator and his defense is overrated because of his steals percentage.

As a Spurs fan if we get Fox I will crashout. Don't get me wrong, I love Fox, but the future for us revolves around Wemby, Castle and Sochan. I would rather win a chip with players we drafted and developed than through trades. Even if we did get Fox, what would we accomplish? a first round exit in the west is most likely, plus we would have to give up either Sochan or Castle alongside Keldon or Vassell and like 3 FRP, which obliterates our future. Fox is not our future, he's someone elses.

firing mike brown was just stupid (lead them 2 the playoffs after 16yrs). and all you media guys are either 2 high or 2 low and most GMs too. when things go bad, yeah make some drastic changes🤔. like when y`all said the Cs needed 2 break up jalen & jayson - and after 7 yrs they won a chip 2gether. good players and coaches figure things out - demare`s been here 4 25 games... chill out.
