I had the idea since a long time to remix this iconic song from MKWii so i propose it to Theology and he accept it !

Holy cow, Mattip, this is so good! I've been listening to this one a bunch since it debuted nearly a week ago, and I swear it just keeps getting better and better! You and Theølogy did such a fantastic job, combining your signature elements and fusing sound styles.
I can definitely hear a lot of influence from Theø in that intro, and the way it kicks off with a nice buildup into the main melody is super cool! It matches the visuals perfectly, as the course preview is shown, and it's a great way to add to the building excitement! Man, you even matched Lakitu's countdown to the beat of the music, and that "GO!" is perfectly timed with the downbeat of the main segment. Your visuals are getting better all the time, and I really admire the effort you put into them!
The instrumentation here is excellent, and the synths have a great mix of retro and modern sounds. I especially love the one that has a sort of "telephone ringing" effect on sustained notes (starting at around 1:08) - it's so cool and it works perfectly here as a layer to the bright and cheery mallet leads. And there are even more details at 1:14 and especially 1:22, with that Game Boy kind of sound (a PWM synth, maybe?) - it's all pure ear candy to me! ^_^ And I have to mention how good the bass is here, with the House rhythms and that deep "tube" sound - it's super slick and really gets you in the groove! It reminds me a lot of Player2's bass style (and great to see him here, as well!)
And man, the drums here are fantastic! I love the hi hat rhythms, and how they complement the kick for a driving beat. Your claps are so thick and satisfying, along with those dense and crispy snares. You really have a knack for picking out powerful, clean samples and using them in a variety of catchy rhythms! Also, the SFX here are well-selected and incorporated at all the right moments. For instance, that "race finish" sound effect is perfectly timed with the footage of Peach crossing the finish line at 2:32 - again, props for the coordination between the audio and visual elements! And the way you timed the "wrong way" sound to the beat of the music at 1:58 is super creative!
It is so awesome to see you guys working together to produce such a polished remix. As a fan of both your guys' music, this was a delightful surprise, and I'm looking forward to seeing both of you continue to grow and expand your collaborative reach! Once again, amazing work, you two! 🌟
