9:35 Regarding the issue with how the screen attaches to the mount - my solution was to purchase a magnetic mount and magnetic strips with 3M adhesive. I cut out a piece of magnetic strip and applied it to the back of the screen, which allows the screen to magnetically attach to the mount. Now I am able to very easily and quickly take the screen off and put it back on.
Do you have a picture or links? I was considering using those WixGear mounts.

I have an 08 TL-S Type with the same head unit. I will never get rid of the car as it is barely broken in at 150K, but love the Apple Car Play in our 2017 CRV. A question - can this integrate to existing back-up camera?

I can’t comment on Android unfortunately because I’m using IOS at this time.
I have a question, how do you watch RUclips by screen mirror plugging the usb into the device if you turn off your WiFi? The things is I work in the car and it’s parked for hours and I use a WiFi from the building I work at when I use my iPhone while watching jailbreak movies and RUclips. I don’t use my cellphone data.
To mirror your phone to the device you said you have to plug-in a cord to the phone but there is no headphone jack in the iPhone 14 it’s just the charge port?
Which car play comes with the dash cam?
I like the window mount idea -- no need to stick something to the dash and wonder if it will tear the dash when you try to remove it, later.

You know what's weird and can't seem to figure out. 1st time utilizing Android Auto to my 03 Infiniti. Plugging in my phone to my USB Cigarette Lighter pairs with Android Auto. Doesn't pair wirelessly for some reason. Always has to be wired. It's an ESSGOO unit. Works similar.
Playing through radio sucks , you can’t Bluetooth it to your car stereo ?
Playing carplay apps through radio isnt ideal, can you Bluetooth stream it to your car stereo?

Nope. I normally make whatever frequency I set as a preset or favourite then I can go back and forth to my regular radio. Make sure to turn up the volume of the screen as well.
Nice review. The unit seems nice but pricey...
Having to connect/disconnect wifi to use in mirror mode of CarPlay mode feels like a deal breaker for me. That’s a lot of distraction and time consuming to switch between the two. Otherwise it seems like a great option.
Yeah it’s not ideal. I actually only use it for CarPlay 99.9% of the time so not a big deal for me
@@EverydayReviews2022 can you explain how and why the dual Bluetooth feature is of use. I’m leaning towards the w903 for the dash cam feature but I don’t understand what is missing since it doesn’t have dual Bluetooth. Of note my vehicle is a 1997 so no steering wheel buttons to control audio.
Does the video stop if it senses you are driving ? While using airplay ?
