Make your own living plant wall vertical bathroom garden
For the wooden frame, you will need,
4 lengths at 15mm thick
4 lengths at 10mm thick
And a sheet of plywood that covers the back
Here's a list of the plants used:
Lavandula angustifolia
Lavandula Stoechas
Garden Fern
Carex Evergold
Miscanthus Gracillimus
Rosemary
The frame and shelves can be any size you wish, just keep in mind this will be hanging from the wall.
You will also need wood screws, a staple gun, hammer and nails, wood glue, a power drill and some heavy duty bin bags
Choose plants that need a similar amount of water and sunlight. So be mindful of how much light your living wall is going to get once installed.
Start by pre-drilling the holes that will connect your frame. This will make it much easier to get your wood screws in.
With the frame complete, add the plywood to the back using wood glue. Then strengthen with nails for a secure finish.
Now cut the bin liners to size. Flip your frame over and lay down the plastic. Making sure to leave enough to cover the entire frame.
Then take your staple gun and secure it in place up the sides of the frame.
Now take the first of your shelves and use this as a lip for the bottom to keep all of your soil inside the frame.
Next fit the other shelves angled upwards like this, then fix in place with nails.
Start by adding the potting soil to the shelves. Then, trim the plastic back to expose the wood.
Now add the flowers. We suggest mixing colours and textures to really get creative with your arrangement.

Once you are happy with how it looks, it needs to settle for one week on a flat surface before mounting on your chosen wall.
