  • Hey everyone, welcome back to ChashuVlogs! Today, we're diving into a topic that many of you have been curious about - finding essential Indian kitchen utensils in Canada. Whether you're moving or already living here, this video will help you know what to look for.
🛒 Pressure Cooker: We bought a Hawkins 4 Litre pressure cooker for around CAD 55. It’s induction compatible and works perfectly.
🛒 Idli Cooker: A steel idli cooker for CAD 40, making 6 idlies per plate with a total of 3 plates.
🛒 Rice Cooker: We use an Instant Pot rice maker with a 3L capacity, making rice in just 15 minutes. It was a gift, so we don’t know the exact price.
🛒 Mixer Grinder: We opted for a Preeti brand mixer grinder, costing around CAD 125. It comes with 3 jars and a food processor. We chose not to bring one from India to avoid power compatibility issues and extra flight weight.
🛒 Other Essentials: Rolling pin (CAD 2-3) and a masala box with 7 small containers for spices (CAD 15).
Find out where to buy these and how they compare to what you use back home. Subscribe for more tips on settling in Canada! 🇨🇦✨
