This should have million views. Underrated period. Please make more videos like these. It reminds me why I love photography in the first place. Kudos! 🙏🙏🙏
This is the best upload I’ve seen on any film photography channel in years. As a 13-year Colorado resident, I felt every word about your struggle to feel the majesty of the mountains. Impeccable artistry, filmmaking and photography. I’ll definitely be rewatching when I feel similar thoughts washing over me.
Fantastic video! I love what you said about finding home. We all want to find that sense of “home” whether it be a place, friends, a partner, a daily ritual, etc. I’m glad you found a little bit of that in this video
Loved this episode! I grew up on a farm in Eastern Colorado, and while I don't live there now this was a great reminder of how beautiful it is. If you make it out there again look up Haxtun, Paoli, or Holyoke!
Incredible work - I love your video format and flow. It inspired me to do more as a creative and get into film as opposed to just digital. Kiiller content Logan please keep it up.
I also lived in the Colorado Rockies for a short while, and despite being from a different mountain range myself I never felt the connection; I wasn't even that impressed by them either. However, when I took to the Plains I think I may have felt similar things to what you did. I know for a fact that we have stood on the same ground, in several different States, some of them possibly very close in time. I think with the more videos of yours that I watch the more landscapes, towns and even buildings I can say I remember or shot myself. It's a small world I guess, sometimes frighteningly small.
this is pure magic, I live in a same place here in Spain, I mean, flat, only fields, all yellow and dry in summer, and always hated it, but now I can see something special in this kind of photos that I didn´t before, and cause of that I understand this video so well, nice work mate!
Dude your channel is criminally under-subscribed…everything in your videos just bring me some senses of inner peace in this complicated time. I haven’t been staying creative for a long time but after seeing this, I decided that I’m gonna go out and shoot some photos this weekend!
Another visual masterpiece! Also experiencing a lot of strange lighting here in Minnesota from wildfires from Canada and northern Minnesota. Also hear you on the lenses. I have the Pentax 645Nii with 75mm and 200mm. Too many times it was too tight and got the 45-85mm to get those wider comps.
Thanks, Nathan! The lighting is messing with my head, sometimes its great, sometimes its awful. I ALSO have the Pentax 645N with the 75mm! Couldn't agree more. Lenses will be the downfall of my bank account.
I’m gonna have to watch this a couple times over to really take in all those scenes and motion shots. Really impressive to find all those different frames in such a similar overall setting!
I pretty much always comment the same on your videos, but your cinematography is so good...love the way you compose the scenes. Keep up the awesome work!
Thank you! I have used LUTs in the past, then I moved away from them. But now I've kind of started playing with certain LUTs. I posted a color grading walkthrough on my Patreon if want to check it out :) - bit.ly/3tXQh0E
Love the videos you're making man! I just watched this twice in a row and I've watched your monument valley video I don't how many times haha. I get what you're saying about the mountains too. I'm a native Texan living in Virginia, and while I love it here, I tell people one of the things I miss most about Texas is the open skies. So I could see how the plains in CO would give you that feeling of home. Thanks for all the inspiration!
Absolutely stunning video once again Logan. The shots were beautiful, love those minimal compositions. Also the clouds in some of those clips are so crazy, literally cartoon clouds haha
Fantastic. This is not the Colorado I typically imagine, but one that I'd like to get to know. The holga pictures were a surprise at the end - insane perspective.
Your channel is so good! It’s great getting to see the state I’ve lived my entire life in through your eyes. I hope you can connect with the mountains. If you need a little inspiration check out Alex Burke. His photography is stunning especially his work on the plains. Sometimes makes me want to put the camera down.
Thank you!! Alex Burke's photography is on another level. A truly great photographer and someone who I'll hopefully be able to meet up with while I'm here!
Absolutely average...needs more dogs in content! I kid as that was lovely stuff; the whining, the honesty, the scenery, the choice of frames and music and captures. Hope you find what you're looking for...or at minimum make more videos like this one (albeit w more dogs content) while you're searching . Cheers ~ Peter
Yet another beautiful story in the books. Well done as always sir 👏🏻
Thoroughly impressed with how you consistently find beautiful frames for clips man.. and these photos are extra special too.. so well done
This and grainydays are honestly honestly the best channels about photography on youtube
Thanks, Egon!!

Dude, that shot of the storm?! Oh my lord.
Thaaaanks man :)
I watch your videos to get jealous. The jealousy of these gorgeous shots makes me want to go shoot more. Bravo, mate - another masterpiece.
Thanks buddy

Wow, thanks for the kind words Richard!!
Incredible shots. So beautiful.
Thanks, Ben
I really enjoyed this video with my coffee in the morning
Love the plains in Colorado. Fantastic work. Last Chance was one of the first places I shot as well. Maybe I'll run in to you out there sometime.
Love the 3rd train shot. Good video.
Another Banger from Logan Baker.
haha thanks, Erik!
Your channel is seriously so underrated, just beautiful man.
That cinematography pierced my heart, and those baby blues pierced my wife's ovaries.
Thanks boo :)
Dude, your videos are magical.
love exploring the backroads of the eastern plains... a favorite area to search near is Pawnee Buttes.
Love the Pawnee Buttes. A few friends and myself drove up there. There's a few clips of it in the video before this one!
Fantastic video! I love what you said about finding home. We all want to find that sense of “home” whether it be a place, friends, a partner, a daily ritual, etc. I’m glad you found a little bit of that in this video
Thanks, Reimann :)
Im planning on driving across colorado soon so this is great inspiration! Thanks

Sweet. Will definitely look those up! Planning on heading back out there for some photos this winter
I'm from Texas too and it took a long time to stop feeling that claustrophobia after I moved to Oregon. I'll always love the prairie.
There's just something about the open skies. They can't be beat!
Your eye for composition is awesome! Loved the video and the shots!
Thanks, Asher
The intro was stunning.. drew me right in. You captured some lovely images and wow what a place! Top work mate
Thanks man

Completely understand what you mean! Thanks for the kind words!
Those images in company of that music, was a profound experience, makes you feel. Truly beautiful video to watch
Thank you!!
The video just keeps getting better 👌🏻
Beautiful!
Thanks, Daisy!!!
Beautiful video that pulled on my emotions which I wasn’t expecting from a random RUclips video. Keep these coming they’re amazing.
Thanks, Noah! Will do.

beautiful vibe video man. relaxing and calm.. 'it is nice to have good gear :) '
I’m gonna have to watch this a couple times over to really take in all those scenes and motion shots. Really impressive to find all those different frames in such a similar overall setting!

Really enjoying your work, you have a great eye! Just wondering how you grade your videos? Do you use a consistent lut?
Thank you! I have used LUTs in the past, then I moved away from them. But now I've kind of started playing with certain LUTs. I posted a color grading walkthrough on my Patreon if want to check it out :) - bit.ly/3tXQh0E
all I gotta say is HOT DIGGITY DAMN DAUG, insane work!
hot daug! thanks, Sam :)
I think you and I need to meet each other and film around Colorado or Texas. I’m here in Denver too with roots back to Texas
the colors and scenery reminds me of one of my favorite films called Paris, Texas. Your videos are amazing, really well done :)
Wow thank you so much! Paris, Texas is one of my favorites as well.
Love the videos you're making man! I just watched this twice in a row and I've watched your monument valley video I don't how many times haha. I get what you're saying about the mountains too. Thank you for the support, Derek! You simply can't beat the Texas skies.
Absolutely stunning video once again Logan. The shots were beautiful, love those minimal compositions. Also the clouds in some of those clips are so crazy, literally cartoon clouds haha
Thank you! Those clouds on the plains are something else.
Fantastic. This is not the Colorado I typically imagine, but one that I'd like to get to know. The holga pictures were a surprise at the end - insane perspective.
Thanks, man. Yeah those panorama pics on the plains get wild!
Great video! I was wondering what kind of camera you're using for the video parts?
I use a BMPCC6K, will be posting some shooting behind-the-scenes/tutorials on my Patreon in the coming weeks. Thanks for the kind words!
Such a good video man. The song that starts as 7.15 is so beautiful. What's the name ?
Thank you! It's called "Flight" by A.Taylor and I got it from Musicbed.
@@loganguybaker Thank you! :)

Do you use an anamorphic lens or do you just crop?
Just crop
are you a big fan of wim wenders?
Paris, Texas just happens to be one of my favorite movies :)
I feel the same way about the mountains I thought I was the only one. The claustrophobia and pine tree monotony isn't for me.
You have such a gentle and authentic soul man, it's such a pleasure to watch this piece, so good in our F@#%?$# pandemicky world... Keep it up
wow this man gets it :')
🔥😎
you found it
I found it
