You may have missed it, but in the opening comments, they said that The Sacred Riana has accumulated over 640 million views, the most of any other Got Talent contestant. I think that has already gone up a few million now, I have seen a couple of versions of the performance with over a million views each. I have possibly watched her more times than almost any other viewer because I watch her performances several times, the reaction videos several times, and still go back and watch her performances on Asia's Got Talent and America's Got Talent. I will say it again, "If I were 30 years younger and 20 years less married, I would still be 20 years too old and 30 years too married to have a chance with her!".

That's because Amanda has been chosen as Riana's pick to do the trick and Amanda must present the paper herself to Riana to complete the trick. As strange as it sounds the trick isn't for Riana but for everyone else. That's my take on it at least.
i'm a year late, but a trick like that is much more difficult than predetermining it; all magic is just illusion and misdirection. It's different if it's just her own show, but using a judge to rig a talent show undermines the whole thing. It's likely that it didn't matter what page or name Amanda picks - Riana just uses the torn page as an easy bookmark to flip to that page later. When she brings the book to the desk on the stage, it's likely she's using the crumpling paper/fire trick as a distraction to secretly write the name Tom in the book. It's not that hard to figure out once you watch a lot of magic shows. Predeterming stuff does happen in private magic shows of course, but it's usually paired with tricks that are much more impressive, this is just standard misdirection with a flair of horror. Beautifully done though
