Always the most thoughtful and useful reviewers! Thanks for not just playing telephone with the marketing materials, but instead adding your biased AND unbiased opinions and going the extra step in comparing other past favourite models! Can’t wait to see your EZ100 review as the V7 was probabaly one of the best 100’s.
@@tierrabatido curious about what strings and tension were you using? I'm thinking of switching but concerned about my shoulder issues. Although, it hasn't flared up these last couple of years when I switched to a softer Blade 98 with Wilson NXT Power 18 multi @50. I am considering this new Ezone v9 for slightly more power and a lighter swingweight. The Blade starts to feel like a sledgehammer after first set. Don't know if I should even consider it or if I go with 98 or 100. Regardless, I definitely won't be using harsh poly. Unfortunately, all the demos you can get with EZ are only poly. Same OHBH.
Even multi at 50 can hurt your arm. I use full soft poly MSV Swift at 18kg. Fine at 19 and 20kg tho. Also, restring after it notches. I restring my rackets after 4-5weeks.@@t2dev
I just can't help smiling looking at this new paint job. Luca, if someday you visit Shenzhen (my hometown), you'll find that this blue color is exact the same one as the color of our public middle and high school uniform shirt.
I had a very bad hip flexor injury last summer Took me six months to work through, it was tough physically and emotionally After lots of physio and now lots of yoga and Pilates I managed to play 110 hours this summer more than ever So you will get back there Good luck with the healing Luca
this reminds me of how wilson started making the blade more user friendly to attract a wider audience with lower RA lower swingweight v8. probably going to need to add lead to get some of that ezone power back. The ezone was known for its easier power but now not so sure.
@ like a trampoline I bet! I had to string my Ezone very tight and add static weight to get it right for me. Thinking of going to a Percept which I’ve tested recently and really liked in stock.
Will be interesting to see what the published RA is from Yonex when released next month. Thank you for measuring the frame to give us a good idea though. Don't have an issue that you say uts a move towards the Clash. Slightly worried if it has more power though as my current Ezone already has enough power and I sometimes hit long. Thanks for the great review!!
How would you compare this one with the TF40 315 , this new Yonex looks good I should playtest it , be careful with your ankle, ice it after excercise🧊, get stronger 🍀 cheers 😮
I don't think there is a large vocal cummunity of people hating on yonex feel. Most people buy a racket and play with it. I think the racket reviewer community find reasons to nitpick as they can compare 20 rackets against each other. If you just play with one frame you get used to feel in no time and it becomes a non-issue.
I think you should definitely start describing the colors of the rackets in your reviews with more precise language. It would be funny to hear the different color names being thrown out to describe these various cosmetics. New rule: you are not allowed to use the color names red orange yellow green blue or purple
hey buddy, i hope you see this... please be careful during the rehab process! i also tore my ankle ligment and the rehabsucked but it would have sucked infinitely more if i damaged it requiring a second surgery. i know how much you itch during rehab to play tennis, but please focus your energies elsewhere for a little bit. thanks and feel better!
What is it with these unbelievably ugly and cheap back to the future 80s style paint jobs in this and the new pure drive. This is such an ugly racket. If the idea is to make it look cheap and gauche then they have succeeded. Truly bizarre from a country that normally has such tasteful aesthetics generally. Please call it out or we’ll get more of this stuff.
I hate how dampened these rackets have become. I don't care if it is forgiving; it may work when you're just hitting around, but in a match, if I can't feel the ball, then I will lose confidence in my strokes, and my game will suffer. I won't be going back to Yonex anytime soon, it seems.
@@michaelingram2549 Really? I hit very briefly with the ATS 98 and the ATS 310, but not enough to gauge. That's sad to hear. The problem for me with a "big" sweetspot and dampening is that you just don't get any useful information from the racket. I'll take a Blade or a CX (or a Percept, for that matter) over this any day -- at least I know why I miss with those rackets!
The color....is horrible, I would be so distracted by it, yes, I think the racket is great....but the color reminds me of some bad marketing like Jaguar and Bud Light

Just got bageled by someone with the Smurf racquet and this is in my recommendations
Ok, I'll keep the aquanight 😊
Loved the old one, my elbow didn't. Balance point is almost perfect for the OHBH. Looking forward to trying it out!
I'm concerned about the same things you mentioned.
@ I now string poly at 45lbs so likely ok with this new one. All of the reviews says it’s comfy.
Same. It had good power/control for my OHBH. I did get elbow pain few years ago so I sold my ezone 98. Hopefully this one is better.

great video as always luca, waiting for your ezone 100 review, hopefully soon :D

I want to see the comparison of 25 PD v 25 Ezone
funny! looks likes the first Vampir liking tennis! Just funny! Good review as always!
that line was comedy gold
I was dying

I don’t mind the color. I’m confused tho because ppl are saying this is the closest to the the DR98 in awhile.
me too. but from the review, sounds like im gonna keep DR98 a lil bit longer LOL
Excellent review.
Great review. How does this compare to he Wilson ultra tour other than the string pattern.
Incredible for elbow problems! How do you compare confort with prince phanthom 100x? Thanks very much!
The last thing the Ezone needed was more power!
Yonex terminated the Astrel line.
Now you know what the bigger Ezone Models play like.
@ like a trampoline I bet!

Right. Ma's new caravan was supposed to have Periwinkle blue interior.. She was terrible partial to it 😢
Nice to see you back on the court! In your opinion what’s the reason for keeping VDM rather than going with Servo Filter? Even more forgiveness?
Okay, so what's better Luca, new ezone or gravity tour 98? I know, I know, probably a month early, but can you give an early opinion?

Please review the 100 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Do you have any info on an updated Ezone TOUR version? Is it coming?
Yes, please do some Prince racquets..
Nice Vid. What would you prefer between Gravity 98 and this new Ezone 98?

It’s funny, the way you’re describing the feel, it kind of sounds a lot like the vcore 95 🤔
Are you going to demo the new Ezone 100?

green percept, blue ezone, next pink vcore
I played with the 2022 Ezone 98 before transitioning to the 2023 VCore 98. How does this new Ezone stack up against the 2023 VCore 98?
Loved version 6
How do I know which to pick? 98 or 100? Tips?
Just starting the video. Liked

Isnt the blue of the 2019 ezone close to this blue in parts? And then before that, there were neon green was ezones as well.
Not really.
Nice review
Thanks

The previous one feels very hard on my ellbow. Is it now softer like the Percept 97 (60RA)?
First!! Ezone 98 user!!
Everyone likes to make fun of the whole worms thing but we all know silk is just worm cocoons, right?
Well cocoons are used by worms which means the worms die. Same as making silk.
maybe I change my Head Speed MP 2024 for this Ezone 2025?
how is the feel compared to RF01?
Its ridiculous stiff so beware but the added power is insane
Now the Ezone 100 please!
The new paint job is fire🔥
😅
More like 💧
🤢🤢
Looks like a kids’ racket
Designed by Eifel65: "I'm blue, dabadidabada..."
I have the DR98, is this finally a good replacement?
No
When does the 98 tour come out
Immediately, apparently
@@zacattack5243 interesting. Might demo
Pretty sure I saw an ad somewhere that said March release for the tour version. January will only be the 98,100 and L versions I think
@ that’s disappointing
The aqua night was better😢
more power, less control
2:47 bro 😂
They are using the same colours as Apple has done with the iPhone 16. Like exact same…
I hit with a yonex the other day it was gross. It felt like a wet bag
Seriously guys, an adult schould not choose his racket by color... (hiding my blacked out PS)

So it's a no-go for Vegans. 😂 I'm not too impressed with the cosmetics.

So, this will break just like the percept?? Yonex is once again the brand of fractured racquets at the neck and shoulders
No feel no fun
nice review, very thorough. the paint job is just obscene, sorry. Smurf color, no thanks.
Not digging the color. It looks like a kiddie pool toy
Strings, strings, strins, strings, strings, strings...........
It looks as a toy racket
The new color is a down grade ngl the v7 is way better
17 min video
The color....is horrible, I would be so distracted by it, yes, I think the racket is great....but the color reminds me of some bad marketing like Jaguar and Bud Light
yuck...no periwinkle
I don't like the color. looks like cheap beginner rackets
If I wanted forgiving, I’d get an Ezone100…
Color okay. Visual / shape is ugly.
That paint job is so ugly. Made for little kids not adults.
