First box had a borderless Bowmasters AND a Surge Foil chase card and was still $90 below market price for the box. Fun to watch cracked, but for collector's who have these sealed...leave them on the shelf, the IP alone should allow them to appreciate a little
They're all getting reprinted in the upcoming LOTR release. There's no way. Plus they'll be reprinted within the next 2-3 sets anyway. Good luck though 🤞
I don't think they're doing those cards in surge foil with the reprint just the main set can be surge foils like orcish and the ring but the toppers I don't think so
@@finmat95 based on the gimmicks of the past and their eventual collapses, first it was just regular foil that was expensive, then it was extended art that was expensive, then showcase, then borderless, then etched were the big thing, then gilded foil, then serialized, then galaxy foil, then surge etc etc etc i could go on for another dozen or more gimmicks theyve tried that tanked because they run it into the ground, just look at Dr. Who every pack has 5+ surge foils those are next to tank
It's a limited run product for a hugely popular IP with huge hits like Bowmasters and The One Ring. Plus there are probably plenty of other serialized Sol Rings yet to be found.
The surge foils would've held value of WOTC didn't print hundreds of different versions of them in Dr Who plus they're reprinting the same surge foils again in the upcoming LOTR release. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WILL HOLD VALUE until WOTC makes some HUGE changes. I hope no one is holding their breath though.
