Hey thanks for the comments and for watching! Every minute of the performance was magic, even the guitar tunings in between songs was a treat to hear. I'll definitely be rewatching it many times myself.
This show was incredible. I'm left to wonder if all her performances are like this, or if there was something particularly magical in the air that night in Totonto. She had the entire room completly enthralled for the whole duration in a way I can't say I've ever seen at any other show.
If you go through her live performances on YT, 99% of them are similar to this with the audience mesmerized and in a hushed state. You will find the odd uploads where there's some annoying coughers who don't have the common sense to excuse themselves from the room to settle themselves.
It’s her, I was at this show and saw her in LA also and both shows were like this, and based on what I’ve heard from others online it’s always the vibe. Never seen another musician like her
Congratulations on getting a ticket! It'll be a new experience for both of us since I've only seen her perform solo but in Montreal she will be accompanied by a string quintet. Really looking forward to it!
32:40 was the most memorable song for me, I was blown away by the musicianship, guitar skill, and storytelling. Felt like a travelling bard was blessing us with an ancient, near-forgotten folktale.
Yeah I think I only found out about it randomly and by that time all the prime seats had been taken but I count myself very fortunate to have attended.
@mikekwon8825 THANK YOU and BLESS YOUR SOUL!!! You're the best! With your info, I was able to also find the original track by her mentor Anmi on RUclips (thanks goes to totoloco also for the track upload): ruclips.net/video/3KJZ48SulXM/видео.htmlsi=LQzOCkcZ0RWGDQH0

I was suddenly transported to a musky pub with mead in hand surrounded by the soft shadows cast by flickering candles. Thanks for the comment 👍
