- Marianas Trench debuted Here's To The Zeros last night at The Tuning Fork in Auckland, New Zealand (30/10/14).
The song is incredibly catchy and the lyrics are so witty and relevant (hence my little bouts of laughter scattered throughout).
NB: I know it might be futile to say, but please credit or ask me if you're planning on using this anywhere.
Might I just take the off-chance someone might be reading this to also rave about how incredible Marianas Trench are live! If you haven't seen them already or heard their work, please check them out!
P.S. I know it can be spelt both ways, but still unsure if it's Zeros or Zeroes. Both the setlist and Josh's tweet say differently. It's under "Zeroes (Hallelujah)" on the setlist.

I left because of astoria...the album was fine live but i didn't like the album itself...but their new album phantoms is probably some of their best work
@@peysecail huh, weird, i think astoria is one of their best works and phantoms barely beats ever after. music sure is subjective lol! i just love all the emotion and hard work put into astoria but the 80s vibe isnt for everyone

Maisie Everett Hey, they should be. I suppose it depends on how large your venue size is, but they did come out for the Auckland show! And they were all so super lovely :)

So far the 5 songs I've heard for the upcoming album are all more upbeat. They're all great I'm just really hoping for a Lover Dearest/So Soon/Skin and Bones type of song on the album.
Wildfire that has been partly released is similar to that vibe. Josh only revealed about a minute and a half of it though.
I've heard Wildfire. The one they did at the Share a Coke thingy. The beginning kinda gives off that vibe but then when Josh gets into it he adds more upbeat guitar and to me it sounds more like Haven't Had Enough. I dunno.. :p
Have you hear "While we're young"? thats my favourite so far :)

Hey, I think that might depend on your venue size cause this was a pretty intimate venue, but I got there I think just as soundcheck started so 2.5 hours before doors opened.
Yeah its at the metro which is about 1000 capacity (thats small for sydney!) but isn't sold out as of yet... I'm planing on lining up 3hrs before so should be ok! Thanks for replying :)

Love it! The verse part sounds very Third Eye Blind actually. I hope they keep it more like this version and it's not too overproduced and poppy when the album comes out

Haha I'm not sure whether it was an official release or not, but Josh mentioned a title similar sounding to Astoria. I can't be too sure on the spelling either though! Might just wait for them to surprise us :) might be a bit of a wait... It'll be worth it.

Why couldn't they just use real guitars and drums in the album version? They sound SO much better than those nasty synth lines and drumbeats.
Bc thats where music is going now. DAUGHTRY is doing it, Fall Out Boy is doing it and now their doing it. Everyone changes with the times.
